Thoughts

I came home after the trip, weighed myself at 6pm and was at 201.0 with some clothes on BEFORE working out. I think I did a decent job in this trip, except I didn't need the extra 3oz of prime rib or the 1/4 biscuit w/ gravy this morning or the extra egg. Oh well, I did a decent job. Also, fresh strawberries w/o cream would've been fine.


I don't plan on eating tonight because I'm not hungry, so with the 90min workout I am about to complete, I confidently hope to see 198-197 tomorrow morning. :) Right back on the journey!! Goal is 10lb by Day 14. One major perk of this LV trip was to "confuse" my body and metabolism so let's jump back on! Debating on whether to increase my weekly exercise needs to reach 10pound weight loss. I guess we will cross that bridge when it comes, so by Day 12, I should decide to add another 60min to this week!


The workout was great! Before taking a bath, I weighed in at 198.6! So losing about a pound per hour of moderate exercise.

So, it's a bit passed 6pm right now and I am quite full. This morning, I was starving and dehydrated when I weighed in at 198, nevertheless, happy that it's 198 and 201 or 203. My chicken quesadilla was very cheesy and saucy so it was really delicious. I don't think I will buy those anymore from Trader Joe's. I am sure I can live without cheese for awhile...haha! Someone at work bought me a fruit bar, so I couldn't say no thank GOD there was no cream in it!


When I came home at 5pm, I wanted to have some energy so I decided to eat. I was going to cook a pork chop, but my brother had leftover wings from Hooters. I've NEVER had seasoned wings, so I got to eating. There were like 12 wings, but I gave some to my brother. I also ate half an avocado and 1 tostada for some crunch.


Before dinner and desert, I was only at 700 calories, wow, dinner alone was 1,300 calories! Can you believe that?! Since I weighed myself today, I guess I won't weigh myself until Day 12. That gives me enough time to experience a WOOSH! My goal is to see 195.x on Day 12


My monthly time was not so heavy as I thought it would be, or should be. I should be off of it tomorrow. Not sure if it affected my weight loss, but sure easy to blame it.

After eating the wings, within an hour, I was in bed. I fell asleep around 8pm, and woke up periodically in the middle of the night, but got out of bed at 730am. I am so surprised I slept in bed for that long. I do have to say I feel extremely well rested and energy balanced. I didn't even do the 60 minutes yesterday night, but that's okay because I wasn't in the MOOD to do it. So why force myself?


I feel like I will have a good day today. I am in a pretty good mood! Later today, I plan on exercising for a little bit. Today has been great thus far!

Woke up so late this morning. Snoozed through my 5:55am alarm and was awake at 7:17! Eck! I'll just do 60min tonight. Woke up so late, won't eat my darn pork chop with eggs for breakfast, but a porkchop at lunch will be yummy! My brother made some pork chop rice cake soy sauce stir fry last night so I had some this morning for breakfast. Then I was so full, drank some water, there came out a BM, and then I had a pork chop for lunch.


I'll workout tonight and since I couldn't help myself to weigh this morning, I'll weigh in on Day 13. Gotta have a good day tomorrow!


I got hungry and decided to eat and since I wanted some eggs, i pulled out another 7oz pork loin. It was a delicious meal of protein and fats! Because I ate so much meat, I'll probably lay off the meat tomorrow. I'll eat yogurt, salad, and soups.

Thoughts

After seeing some pictures and testimonies in the before and after thread, I definitely feel like 420minutes of exercise per week will not result in weight loss, even with monitoring my diet intake. Trust me, if you think what I eat right now is bad, you have no idea. I would love to just buy some donuts for breakfast, pick up some taco bell on my way home from work. But I don't, so this is change. Respect it!!! Anyways, to see some serious weight loss, one individual did nearly 3 hours of exercise daily, that's well over TWICE as much as I am doing now. Albeit, I am not as big as this individual, I feel like I should be doing more than 420minutes...I think next week, I will increase it to 600min/week. Or you know what, maybe I will increase it this week and not next week. Well, that means I have to do 2 hours per day for day 13 and day 14, that's kinda scary..... Okay, maybe 510min/week. I owe it to myself to work out HARD and see results.

Last night, I fell asleep extremely nauseous!!! I think it might be due to the shrimp ceviche. No bathroom problems, just extremely nauseous. HATED IT. I woke up this morning feeling fat, like "Oh, there is my double chin coming back"


The 30minute exercise session this morning was so lethargic, I wanted to quit at 15min, then at 20min, it was crazy bad....Gotta push through this, good thing I'm not weighing myself every day or I would feel more inclined to quit if I don't see the numbers I want to see.


I almost don't want to weigh myself unless I FEEL good. But we'll see....I have two and a half days to complete 85 minutes of exercise, or I can increase my weekly limit to 510 min so now we gotta do 175minutes. I would love to take Day 14 off, so do 75 today and 100 tomorrow? Decisions decisions...bleh! Going to go enjoy a chobani yogurt and start my day!
 
Have had those exercise sessions that seemed to drag on forever to even hit the 10 minute mark. After fighting through them I do find that it starts to get easier and pretty soon you'll find yourself looking forward to it but some days it does seem like torture.

I used to find that switching up the exercise or breaking it in half and doing push ups, sit ups or some other exercise altogether used to help quite a bit. Another trick I've tried to fool myself was to switch directions every couple minutes on the elliptical and mentally think of getting to the next direction change instead of reaching the end workout target.


I've also been having trouble staying off the scale to check up on progress. The first week was completely terrible with me weighing in 4 or 5 times a day so my solution for this week was to remove the scale from the bathroom altogether and commit to only doing a weigh in at the end of the week.
 
Hey everyone, what a mood change after I ate really healthy at iHOP and took a BM an hour later. So weird how my mood swings...I feel good! Maybe I just needed to eat out, but eat healthier, AND the fact that I went to the bathroom....not that I was really worried, but happy with everything. The harvest grain pancake was delicious, carbs!! lol, and the turkey bacon strips are really weird. The egg substitute don't taste bad at all, taste like the real thing!!! I LIKE IT!


I woud like to increase vegetables and fruit into my diet....hmm, what fruit can I include? It's just so sad that it's expensive to eat prepared fruit. DARN IT! hahaha... Good mood.


I can't guarantee more time on the dual trainer, maybe 30min later tonight, but no problem if I don't. Maybe a gym session instead!!
 
Hey Lauralee...you know you're really "in" when you can feel free to mention mood swings and BM in the same sentence on here!! We all have them trust me (mood swings and BM's...really stinky ones!!)

Hey, lmao, thanks Sarah! I pretty much got bored tonight and hungry and wanted to eat eat eat, so I did. Portion control went out the window. I was curious of all the foods I derived myself with (ice cream, cheese stick, popcorn)


Tomorrow is a new day. I am excited!!!!!! I know I am not weighing in tomorrow cause I'll go insane and depressed so I'll weigh in on Day 15. Just gotta have Day 13 and Day 14 full of right foods, less than 1200 calories, and plenty of time spent on the dual trainer. PLAN FOR SuCCESS, STICK WITH IT!

I woke up this morning, did not work out but lounged in bed. I feel skinnier today though, not in my double chin area, but in my stomach area seems more flat. I can actually suck in and have some curvature for my ribcage. I love it! Gotta work out tonight to keep going!! I feel like I am crashing because I could not NOT get the super burrito. Sigh, I gotta keep up the exercise to keep seeing some progress!

So, put that crazy, bored strange night behind you and get refocused again! I know what you mean about actually starting to feel your ribs...I can, for the first time in a long time, actually feel my ribs individually and I bet you can too!

When I get bored, I walk...it's not exciting, it's not costly..but it does get me past those "eating thoughts' that come around when we don't want them to!
