hey feelinggooder! Yeah, i so wish i didn't get my jeans in a size 31 like 4 weeks ago, knowing that these badboys would stretch and i would be losing weight. Now, they're too big!! =( Size 30s would have lasted me at least 3+ months!

So, it is 4:32pm and I just finished my dinner. Those thighs were DANG FINGER LICKIN' GOOD! When I get off my exit coming home, I always think of how hungry I am and could make a stop at Jack In the Box, Taco Bell, Subway, McDonalds, or Kinders....But today, while driving home, I was looking forward to coming home to eat chicken thighs..It was very nice to feel that.


I need to stop my "cheat" meal mentality, of deprivation and waiting for things, but actually enjoy the deliciousness of healthier options. I don't want a cheat meal, and nor do I want to suck myself into believing that the next "treat" is on Day XX, but in actuality every day there will be a treat.


Small steps, baby, small steps.


I didn't eat a lot today, but probably because of 1) no BM 2) 8 cups of water and 3) fruit all day, I totally don't feel hungry at all. I was sore this morning so I didn't work out, but I didn't see that as a problem because I worked out really hard last night.

Thoughts

Woke up this morning a bit late, not really due to laziness, but I feel really sore from the past two nights. Plus, I am doing a double back to back class at the gym tonight, so I'll make it up there. Lovin' the steady decline in the weight, as long as I can keep this up for more than 3 days aThis weekend, I don't have any big plans, other than volunteering all day on Sunday (9-4pm and 6-8pm) but on Saturday, I'm going to clean my car, weather-permitting.


As the 3 pound weight gain was due to menstruation, I won't weigh myself around menstruation time. So I got my period Day 3 and then Day 28. So, menstruation can happen between day 21-35. Therefore, I will not weigh myself between Day 49-55. Gives me a week to start my period, then weigh myself on Day 3 of when the red sea comes out.


I was dripping sweat for 2 hours. That is freakin' ridiculous. After drinking, I came home and weighed 192.8, after even drinking 2 cups of ice cold water to quench my thirst! Even after that taco bell! hehehehe

Anyone notice your loss yet?



Well, my brother has noticed my shoulder area and neck area has thinned out a bit. I've noticed though during my kickboxing class, all my rolls, and double chins, and jiggle. It was nasty, but that gave me the oomph to push harder last night. I noticed this morning my fat seems to be more jiggly, in the arms and back, not so much in the stomach area.My double chin area/neck fat is getting a bit loose, I really hope I don't get one of those Jonah Hill gobbly neck! WTH i'm only 23 and need to only lose like 75 pounds.


I do walk a little bit taller, look people in the eyes a lot more. No one at work or classes said anything, yet. I still wear my jeans that are too big and my XL shirts that are getting lose.
 
Hey feelinggooder, thanks a lot! In the month of January, that was only yesterday, I automatically felt deprived in the sense that I was always looking forward to a cheat meal. I don't even have one planned for this weekend. I need a few solid days of solid eating, or controlled eating at least even if I do go to a restaurant. HUGE MENTAL CHANGE!!


I just want to note how FAT my girdle area looked, like the tissue surrounding my pelvic bone, but not in a shapely sexy way. It's just a big marshmallow of fat. The area spanning from below my belly button to the top of my inner thigh, just all around, in front, and in the back, just blubb. I noticed it while kicking during kickboxing last night. My kicks are short and pretty pathetic. I almost want to say my pelvic bone needs to get stretched to get more flexibility and movement out of this area.


Weird to notice, so if I don't notice the 20 pounds off anywhere else but my pelvic area, I will be damned happy. I look so damn heavy!

Dont beat yourself up too bad on how you look...trust me, we've all got problems with the way we look...I have watched 4 distinct fat rolls since I started on this journey..I've watched them not go away, but get smaller..it is doable...but it takes work...for me exercise and diet...one without the other doesn't give me the progress I want at the pace I want! Love your body...big or fat or whatever...I believe it will respond better than negative reinforcement...and do the work to help it get smaller!

Thats what Im talkin about!!!....People will notice the appearance changes too but its the attitude change that will keep you in the fight!.

There was no way I would exercise this morning after working out so hard last night. I plan on doing a quick workout this evening on my dual trainer, but not right now. My thighs are so sore and so are my pectorials! EUGH!!! I don't want to get too sore because I want to do the strength training tomorrow and the zumba class tomorrow. It will be my very first zumba class! I am excited. [/b]


So I got kinda bored and was craving asian food so I had dinner with my brother at the local buffet. The quality went from an impressive 5-star to a mediocre 3-star. Hmm, don't think I'll go back there for awhile. I am so full! My intestines feel fully distended. WEIRD??? [/b]

I must be pooping every day because I am eating a lot every day. A lot of "bad" food i guess causes me to go every day. It is 5PM and I am only on my 5th cup of water. I still got 6 more to go!!!


I know now that those regular tacos at Jack In The Box are ridiculously crappy! The mysterious "ground beef" tasted fishy today. But of course, I ate it all. I drove to a sushi restaurant and they were closed! Who is freaking closed during lunch time? Well then I found out on their website that they are open at 4PM on Saturdays...duh. So I stopped by Jack In The Box.


The reason why I stopped by was eating pork chops didn't sound enticing. I mean, they were already cooked, even a few stalks of asparagus from yesterday's dinner. But I just wanted to eat.....


I want to try those boca burger patties because I need to eat something that has less fat. Half my calories from Jack In The box came from fat. WTH. Right? Some days, I doubt I eat 50g, but in that one meal I ate like 140g.

Thoughts
The movements are not healthy at all. I drank 8 cups of water before twelve, and peed like five times. My body is hating me for yesterday, my intestines are screaming at me, the more water I drink, the more often I have to go pee, then I have to poo.

Never ever get that bored to eat that much.

2. I eat when im bored or alone


So, even the italian sausage pasta wasn't going to get taken in by my intestines, so everything came out. Thankfully, it all came out of one end. The italian sausage pasta was delicious because of the cheese and the pasta! Loved it! I am so sore everywhere. It hurts my pecs to turn my steering wheel. It hurts to squat to go on the toilet. SUCKS! My abs hurt when I need to lift my head in bed. Crazy!!!!!

I hope that all the water and uncomfortable pooing cleaned yesterday's damage. Let's keep it up. Goal for this week is to see 180s. Let's make it happen, folks. I always do well in the beginning of the week, don't I? Sigh!

Thoughts
My gosh I need to get back on the exercise train. I am going to stop by the gym before coming home so I'll make sure I get a really sweaty workout. Don't get me wrong, the dual trainer does a great job, but I can only go to like 7 out of 10 in terms of intensity, and sometimes I like to go 10 out of 10 (out of breath, headache) workouts! Pushing myself to the edge! YEAH!

Having a 600 min week goal is nearly impossible. But I do need to exercise everyday. Goal is still to see 189 and I have dinner on Saturday. So Wed, Thur, Fri, and Sat morning...got 4 mornings to weigh-in to get to 189!

Drinking 14 cups of water yesterday kept me very hydrated even through the night. I had to pee twice throughout the night! Woohoo! I guess all this water is working my metabolism because I went to the bathroom TWICE within like an hour of waking up and before taking a bite of food!


The weather has been pretty wet today. So instinctively I wanted soup. Then, I thought of how delicious sweet tomatoes is! AND it's a buffet! I forgot about the fact of the heavy carbs that the place offers. I ate and ate and ate. I wasn't feeling full until I finally put my forks (i had 2 forks on one plate at one time) down for 15 minutes. Woo!
 
You mentioned Jack in the Box and the Chinese buffett....Two of my worst weaknesses...I dont trust myself to step in either of those places.


I have been menu plannin...that helps me resist the boredom eating.


Also 600 minutes of exercise a week is a pretty steep goal, don't beat yourself up if you don't hit it. Just keep on exercising!

I won't lie. It is hard to wake up in the morning to workout, even though my machine is 10 feet away from me. I just rather roll over and sleep/relax in bed for 45 minutes. I had a lot on my mind today so I didn't remind myself of food. I'm sitting here with my little plastic cup of ice cream totally enjoying it.


Some days I need low calorie days cause I don't feel like eating. Other days all I think about is food. What is wrong with me?


...After all that, okay, I suck.
 
I'm overdue for a low calorie day and I am also going out for BBQ with some girlfriends on Saturday. I am so stoked! It's this chiq place that i've always wanted to check out! Nice place with delicious BBQ? you know it! But I plan on controlling myself, of course. hehehe!

I'll be trying out the cycling you suggested! I've been reading through your diary, ahh some of the food is so delicious! Your calories really vary, which I can tell from your posts sometimes is intentional and sometimes not. You work out with high intensity A LOT! Wish I was better with that...instead I usually just walk for an hour. I use to get on the elliptical, need to get back to that!
