Notes: The weird thing about eating at Denny's is that all of their meals are relatively big and basically take up my calories for the whole day... but they also stick to you all day anyways! I ate at about 10am this morning, its 6:30 now, and at best I'm a little peckish. Last time I had breakfast there it was the same results. As far as the workout goes, I didn't "push" myself that hard because my thighs were still a little sore from Monday's workout, when I pushed myself a lot harder than I had in a very long time. But, I have 2 workout days down, and 2 to go! Definitely going tomorrow, and then I'll be going again probably Sunday evening (but I am going to see if I can go Saturday morning too)

Notes: I just don't want to eat today. I'm really stressed out about money matters and a bunch of stuff that goes with it [see livejournal, which I'm going to update next]. Which is just as well, since I can't afford to eat out for the next while, but don't have anything packable at home to take to school/work.

Addendum: I got myself some dinner anyways... didn't want to eat it all but I didn't want to be under either. At least I kept it healthy :)

Glad you did eat even though you weren't really wantin' ta, Bailey! You even kept it healthy! Proud of ya :D

Hopefully, things get better for you soon and you can do all you need to! Get in those workouts for stress relief :D

I'm glad you forced yourself to eat. Remember, you need your nutrients! :)
Sorry to hear things are stressful right now. Hope things get better for you.

Just stopping by to say hope you have a good weekend. It's no fun to be stressed about things like work, financial matters etc. But those are all part of life and we will get through them without using food as a comfort or crutch. Glad to see you are still keeping things healthy despite the stress.

Keep your chin up!!!

Well the good news is that after talking with Josh about it, there is a considerable more amount of savings currently saved than I thought so I don't need to be running myself ragged on 60 hour weeks, thank goodness. I have calmed down considerably!

I also today finished my summer science course, and now only have to take one class, which is only 2 days a week! Which reminds me, I have an exam for that on monday, I guess I should get my reading done... hehe :p

Notes:
- The eggs were just a light breakfast so that I didn't go into my final exam starving (by the way I'm pretty sure I did awesome :D), and I plan on getting a good nutritious lunch when I get home from the gym. Not sure what exactly, but I hope in includes some fruit! I'm pretty sure its a good thing that I read almost all my sweets cravings as fruit cravings these days, but I still get them a lot! I think I could have a giant fruit & yogurt smoothie every day and not get sick of them! Unlike those meal replacement shakes I had for a while... they tasted great and oh-so-chocolatey the first couple days but after the third or fourth day I couldn't stand them!
- Updated! Today is just an eggy day. And they're pretty easy to make! Actually I underboiled the eggs the first time, but they were still cooked enough to peel, so I did so and then just popped them in the microwave for a couple minutes - voila! Actually instead of the sandwich I really wanted to get a wrap, but they're expensive and the sandwich was free.

yay you for doing awesome on your exam... :D I'm a total fruit addict now, I think Icould have cantaloupe every day and never get sick of it :)

So this morning I took a peek at the scale... 176! So that's 2 lbs down from my last weigh-in... not changing my ticker unless it stays the same (or better!) over the weekend for my "official" weigh-in on monday! Not much chance of it going up, I'm working all weekend, no time to go any of the places that usually muck up my diet, like the movies or restraunts, etc. I'll cross my fingers for it to go down just a little bit more though :)

That's great to hear about the exam. You need protein before testing--I always try and tell that to my students. The eggs were an awesome choice.

thanks for coming by and rooting for me everyone :) I'm trying to be extra good today but I think I'm going to be way short on calories and I'm already over on carbs... does that mean I break even for the day? I still have a Soup-at-Hand that I'll be eating after work, on my way to they gym, but its only 130 calories (don't know the other values off hand). Then I'll be pushing myself hard at the gym for my 30 mins before going home to study hard for another exam!

See you all later :)

Hey Beagle,
I had to practically travel back in time to catch up on your activities! My comments, days late, are still relevant I think. Don't sweat the ups and downs. You're doing really well and averaging it out, and I want you to keep that "even keel" kind of feeling. That's perfect. Also, what a good way to look at at a "low" day. You weren't that hungry, and you didn't want to eat right before bed, so you didn't. That's great! I have a tough time with that one still. I'm really proud of you for being so reasonable and thoughtful about your food and exercise. You've come a long way!

Holy hunnies!! 2 lbs! I'm so jealous... I can't wait till another two lbs are gone... I looovvvve eggs for breakfast... 'cept I get the egg beater thingys, throw em in the microwave for two minutes and ya got yummy eggs. Also, I can't seem to cook a real egg by myself, lol, so easy I shall do.
Have a great day tmorrow!

Kept the 2lbs off, but didn't lose any more. Oh well! I'll take what I can get. Now to update my ticker :)
