Events can intrude on our carefully-laid plans, can't they? But I'm sure you can hold the line, no problem.
And if you have as much going on while your guests are there as you say, maybe you'll be too busy and active to have to worry about intake.

Hey Peeps! Hope everyone had a happy 4th of July! Mine was so much fun! I hung out with my sister, went swimming, took the sick new RZR out TWICE and cleaned the shit out of my house. Pics soon to follow!!! :sifone:

Ok, now onto the weight loss situation.... I'm not doing so well. :nopity: I ate out like 3 times last week and seriously have gained 3 pounds. I don't know if it's fat, muscle or water retention. My clothes don't fit any different and my shape looks the same. All in all, I feel so guilty and feel bad that I didn't hit the gym ONCE last week. :banghead: I really need to continue going to the gym at least 4 times a week and really stay away from CARBS. It's weird, but I don't like sweets, but I love crunchy, filling-types of foods. I love pasta, breakfast food and especially sushi... I can't have enough of it! I really feel like I am THISCLOSE to getting to my goal, but I'm trying to be realistic and know that it will take me another 4-5 months, which totally bums me out. Why do I have this idea in my head of wanting to be thin so quick? I just want to look my best now and not have to wait another 5 months or so.... I want to be a size 8 NOOOOWWWW!!! :cuss: Well I guess that means I need to hit it super hard and don't make any excuses!!
 
Come on girl, you should know better. Those 3 lbs don't count! I guarantee you if you eat at a B+ or A- grade the rest of this week and workout at least 3 or 4 times, you will be back to your low by Friday or Saturday morning.

I can't tell you what a B+ or A- diet is, I just always find myself grading my diet for the week. You probably have an idea of what your own A grade diet or B grade diet is. That is how you should try to eat this week...or as soon as possible.

I can tell you throughout the entire 2009 year my weight has fluctuated as much as 5.5 lbs in one week! The important thing for me is that my low weight continues to fall and so does my high weight for the week.

For what it's worth, I also ate like crap all weekend...and drank a ton too. I weighed 196.5 this morning, which is 3.5 lbs above my low weight of 193 just a little over a week ago. I'm not whining about it though because I know better. Now you know better too. So get your whining out today but no more whining once tomorrow comes around. ;)

Ah, you are just little "kick in the pants" that I needed! You are right! NO MORE WHINING! Whining are for babies! Hopefully I can't at least get down to 156.5 this week..... here's to making it happen! BOOOOYYYAAAA!!!

Summer!!

Hey everyone!

AHHH, FINALLY! :hurray:

All the relatives are gone and now I can get back to my regular routine and start to get down to my goal weight! I think I'm going to change it to 135 and increase current weight up to 160.5.... I have been at it now for 3 days, so I'm pretty sure that is what is should be... Oh well, you live your life and the move on.... :ack2:I can't be too upset considering I put all that restaurant food in my mouth and didn't anything too strenuous.

Also, I definately have a new motivation to getting closer to my goal weight! My husband and I just got an invitation to our 5 year high school reunion! It's on August 7th and it will be a dinner party, so I'm assuming it will be a little bit dressier... I'm thinking some way hot jeans and heals and a cute blouse or something! :sifone: I want to look smoking for it and I know my husband does too. He started taking my thermogenesis pills that I bought at the gym but I don't like them because they make me sweat soooooo baddddd! Well, he likes them because he works outside anyway and sweats, so he said he is loving them today.

Well, I'm going to do my best and not let you guys down, as well as myself! I really want this goal to be over with so I can finally live my life and concetrate on maintaining and being healthy! I hate thinking about my weight EVERYDAY and weighing myself EVERYDAY.

Oh, Mondays!

Hello!

I had a great weekend! Hope everyone elses went well. Today, I'm starting a new eating plan and have committed to 5 days of working out this week, instead of 3-6. I figure that is somewhere in the middle. Also, I'm going to make a pact and not eat any starches or any sugar for the next 3 weeks to make some serious progress by August. Wish me luck! I'm going to take a pic tonight and take one by the first of August to see what my progress is.

In personal life, the hubs and I are buying a new truck today and I'm kinda stressed but oh well. Our payment is going to go up significantly but it's going to make my hubby happy and this is a battle I just don't want to fight. On the upside, I will be getting his subwoofer to put into my car so I'm excited about that. It's one 12 instead of the 2 10's that I have, so that will decrease the weight of my car so I can zip around quicker. Also, Zoey is getting quick big and actually I got her papers on her and she was born April 19th, which puts her at 12 weeks this Friday.

Anywho, I've attached some pictures taking out the RZR and some of Zoey and Zeek! My goal this week is to get down to 157 again!

I am really needing to pull it together here for the next few pounds... i will never get where i wanna be if i splurge on ice cream or sugary coffee every few days! I am excited to see how things look by the end of august!!! :) GOOD LUCK!!!! I am planning to find a good plan for myself and stick to it for the next few weeks. I wanna look HOT for the beach the end of sept!!! :)

Thanks girlie! Yeah, so far the eating is tolerable but I'm going to let a little bit loose on the weekends so I don't go completely crazy!

Me too! I hope it's a little bit better! I know! I haven't even been swimming yet and it is sooo hot here!

Yay, good news to report! So, by just eating better and drinking even more water than I'm used to, I dropped back down to 158.5 like that! I'm hoping to at least drop 10 pounds in the next month, so I'm hoping it will be a reality!! I went for a run around my trails with both pups last night. It was hard to control them but was a good heart pumping nonetheless. Well, I'm off to the gym tonight because I really need to tone up!

I went to the gym last night and it kicked my freaking ass!! :ack2: I've been getting a plan together with Steve the last couple of days and I started to put into effect our discussions until I get his awesome laid out routine from him...

I did all the following excersises for 45 min:

Leg Press
1st set: 20 reps at 155 weight
2nd set: 15 reps at 175 weight
3rd set: 10 reps at 195 weight

Calf raises on the leg press:
Same sets as above

Seated Rows
1st set: 10 reps at 100 weight
2nd set: 10 reps at 90 weight
3rd set: 6 reps at 80 weight

Hip Adductor:
1st set: 20 reps at 60 weight
2nd set: 15 reps at 70 weight
3rd set: 15 reps at 80 weight
4th set: 15 reps at 80 weight
5th set: 15 reps at 70 weight
6th set: 10 reps at 60 weight

Tricep Pushdown Machine
1st set: 10 reps at 50 weight
2nd set: 10 reps at 60 weight
3rd set: 6 reps at 70 weight

Wall Sits
3 sets at 40 sec each (killed me!!) :ack2:

Plank
3 sets at 1 min each (killed me!!) :ack2:

and to finish up I did 10 min on the Cybex machine.

I am so freaking sore today! :( I think tonights workout is going to be a run with the dogs to loosen up these tight muscles. My back hurts the worst from the seated rows. Obviously, those aren't very strong.

Today so far, I have only had a Power Jamba Juice, Mega Mango with Energy and Soy Protein. So, not so good yet on food but I'll eat some substance later when I get home. :coolgleamA:

On a side note, I am so happy we didn't end up buying a new truck this week. :hurray:I was so stressed out at the thought of a bigger payment and I'm glad my husband decided not to do it. We want to be able to buy a bigger house within in the next 18 months, I would rather have the extra money going to a mortgage.
