Back... with a Vengeance!

Lol... animals are just so darn annoyingly cute!

The chunk of skin missing from my toe didn't really bother me when I was working out. Actually I didn't even feel it until I took a shower afterwards. MAN did that burn like hell!
What did bother me are the blisters I'm getting on my achilles heels :(
I always wear flipflops and clog type of shoes (ones that don't have a backing on the heel).
So wearing my exercise shoes is rubbing up against the achilles heel area and causing them to blister :rolleyes:
I put bandaids on both of my feet, and it helped for the most part, but I could still feel it.

I did my Learn & Burn though and 30minute treadmill! Even did my 1min slow jog which I wasn't planning on doing :D YAY!

I'm excited and dreading at the same time doing the 20minute workout tomorrow heh. Dreading it b/c I know I won't be able to keep up with them and do all of the right moves and it's going to frustrate me. Excited though b/c it will be something new! heh.
 
Ok so so far today.. I've had around 1300-1400 calories. I'm about to go snack on a cucumber+ red pepper paste though. But that's only gonna be about 100 calories :)

My lower back is feeling pretty bad right now. I can't even stand up straight b/c if I try... the pain shoots through my legs and I have to quickly hunch back over.... SIGH.
I'm not gonna let this get me down even though it would be so easy to.


Ok.... so.. I got BF to take pics of me today for my before shots.
MAN.. I hate cameras. They always show us the fat ugly truth.

So.. here they are.... front and side view. I'm not standing up straight (pretty apparent in the side view) b/c as I said above.. back is hurting. But... well.. standing up straight isn't gonna hide the fatness! :p hehe
And yep... I gots a whole lot of junk in my trunk!

Hmm.. I thought there was a button that let you post pics :confused: Oh well.. guess this attaching thing will do! heh
 
Brave Amunet, you did it! Actually, I could stick some of my own head shots on your body there, and no one would know the difference. I think I even have that outfit!!

I'm sorry about your back pain...is there ANY kind of exercise or something you are able to do?

I'm hoping that just a good night's rest will help ease the pain some, but it's not so bad that it's going to prevent me from not doing my exercises tomorrow :)
 
Congrats on taking the pic leap. In my experience here, it seems the people who deal with the pic thing are usually the most successful on here. There's something to be said about those who are honest about themselves and say "this who I am and this is where I'm going".

You're not as bad off as you may think - in my honest opinion.
 
I don't think you look so bad... You're like.. my goal..lol Congrats on putting your picture up - very inspiring. Hope your back feels better!

I saw the pictures and just about died. I mean I looked at them and actually thought... "Do I look like THAT?" and I SO did not want to put them up.
But... I just had to do it b/c I've been in denial about my weight for too long now.

I'm not sure if anyone else has done this, but I know for myself... I actually convinced myself that I wasn't so big! Even though my pants size slowly crept up to 18.. I still tryed to deny the fact that I totally let myself get this way and I could've stopped it.
But NO MORE! I see what I've let myself get to and I'm doing something about it now :)

Anyways... official calorie count of the day.. between 1400-1600 :)

I'll be posting inbetween photos on Xmas! I'll have to put on some makeup though so I can take a picture that's showing my face :p heh

Alrighty so last night's adventures in bedtime land didn't go so well.
I was tossing and turning all night long.
I'd like JUST get to sleep and wake up and get that totally uncomfortable feeling so had to move.
So got off to a bad start today.
Actually contemplated not doing my exercises.
I thoroughly kicked myself in the butt though and told myself that I had to do this or I'm never going to change!!
So while my dogs were outside having a good time, I went and put on my exercise clothes so that would be one less excuse for me to use to not exercise today!

Days like this are hard, but I'm gonna push through it b/c I have to :)
 
Okedoke... Got done with my workout and MAN was it frustrating.. and tiring :p

That 20min TJ workout was HARD. I think I'm gonna be stuck on it for a while. The Learn & Burn definetly does NOT prepare you for the actual workouts.
I was standing around ALOT watching these ppl do things I just wasn't prepared for. And then the speed at which they'd switch up to different exercises... UUUUGH.
My uncoordinated butt tryed though and what I did do worked up a darn good sweat. :D

Also did my 30min treadmill! I put my low min jog at the beginning b/c I thought it'd be better to get my heartrate up earlier, but lordy my calves hurt throughout most of my walking. I'm not sure if it was from that or just some random pain, but I had to stop for a min and start back up again just so the pain would ease.
That rest helped but... I think I'll keep my min jog at the 10min mark heh.

I'm sorta NOT looking forward to doing the 20min workout again tomorrow. It's just frustrating watching them and not being able to keep up ya know?
I really hope I can get the hang of it though.
Looking at the schedule they give you... there's alot of the 20min workout so.. I really hope I'll start getting a little coordinated :p hehe
 
I hate feeling uncoordinated when I 'm doing those workouts too; that's why I usually stick to walking. But it doesn't matter if you can keep up or not; as long as you are doing moves correctly so you don't hurt yourself, and you are working out enough to sweat, you're doing great!

Oh man.... I can feel it already, tonight is gonna be hard resisting a bad late night snack. I'll just have to go munch on a few pieces of kimchi and hope that satisfies my cravings.

Calorie count was a bit high today b/c I fixed mac & cheese for dinner.... so so far... today is 1600-1700.
 
Once I went for physio due to bowling injury... the therapist said I've body coordination problem! Becos he made me do the stretch (see pic) and I kinda cross n twist the wrong way! Humph!:mad:

U'll do well with kimchi.... turn to this forum when in temptation lol:p
 
I am so stoked that you worked out today even though you were sore. Yay you!

And seriously, is that me in the picture? Hmm. Maybe. I think I have more upper-body fat, especially in the stomach. Anyways. Part of my strategy is to stare at it angrily enough that it gets scared and shrinks away in terror.

ROFL... If that worked I'd be skinny by now :p

My back is sore again today. I think it is from exercising. I'm not slouching or anything when I do my exercises. I think it's just my body freaking out that it's actually getting used :p hehe
The pain is almost gone though so I should be fine tomorrow so I can make a fool out of myself again trying to do the 20min workout :p rofl
 
Ha... yr back will be stronger. I can remember my body freaking out after the first try at Billy Blanks' taebo. Hope u get a good workout tmr!:D
