Back... with a Vengeance!

I always end up at the grocery store when I'm starving :p
Today was no different HOWEVER! I went in with a plan! Muahahaha
Too bad the cruddy Walmart that we shop at though didn't exactly let me carry out all my plans :(
I wanted to get so many veggies, but they just don't restock on Sunday (NM that it's one of their busiest days).
I wanted to get mushrooms.... nope.. no mushrooms. Wanted to get tomatoes... only got one b/c the rest just looked too funky.
I did get me some zucchini but the pickings on those was just pathetic. Most of them had some sort of funky thing going on with it.
I did get me 4 cucumbers to eat with my red pepper paste that I got from the korean store though :D
It's so hot but sooooooo goooooooood.
Also got me my jar of kimchi! WOOHOO!
Already eaten about 2 cups of it so far :p heh
Gosh it's so good when it's fresh or about a day or so old when the flavor really gets into the cabbage.. *drools*
Oh also got me a canteloupe! I couldn't resist after hearing how many calories it is. Plus I haven't had canteloupe for a while so the thought of it sounded great.

Oh and I couldn't find those skinny cow things at the store (surprise surprise)... but I did get me some 98% fat free ice cream bars. They're the generic Walmart brand but each one only has like 110 calories :) So YAY for that.
It was just painful watching BF eat all of the icecream cones we had last week when I started this heh, but now that I have those it won't be so bad :p heh

TTOTM started for me today... but I hope it's not going to mess with my weighin tomorrow (yeah right).
I cheated and looked at the scale again... and well.... Either my period is screwing with my weight ALOT or I was doing something seriously right last week.
Not gonna say anything though until tomorrow! heh
 
Hey i gonna get kimchi after work!
Havn't had it for some time. I miss eating at my fav korean stall in one of the foodcourts downtown.
Btw u watch korean dramas? I'm crazy over them now!!!! :D
 
Lol, no no korean dramas for me.
I don't speak or understand the language so it'd be pretty pointless :p
Actually no that's not fair to say b/c I did used to be CRAZY over korean pop music hehe.
Man.. I used to rent the videos of their music shows... like Top 20, types where they would have the bands/singers perform hehe
 
Ohz... i dun understand korean either. But they had the voiceover in Mandarin. So it's fine for me.
Ha I used to buy Lena Park's albums. She was brought up in the States too i think. Powerful voice.
 
My weight must be seriously affected by my period b/c I just did my official weighin and both of my scales (digital & non) both read the same thing..... 222lbs :confused:
I'm not going to get my hopes up about that though. I might've lost maybe 2lbs last week at the most, but not 6 :eek:
It's my official weighin though so I'm recording it as that! Hopefully I'm wrong and the number won't go back up next week.. and will actually go down more heh.

Starting off late this week b/c well.. I'm tired and I know I won't be getting good rest.
But I'm pumped up about starting a full workout week :) I already have my workout clothes on and just waiting for my breakfast to digest so I can go exercise! WOO! hehe
Still worried that the treadmill is gonna cause the power to go out, gosh I hope it doesn't.

And yep.. that's all for now! Unless I think of something else to ramble on about :p hehe
 
OK... I couldn't resist and weighed myself again (maybe I am getting a bit too obsessed with it :p).... and it read 224. That's what the scales were showing last night so I think that weight it probably more accurate.
I think I'm going to stick with that amount. That 222 weight that it showed just unnerved me for some reason.

Ok.. NO MORE with this weighing myself thing.
It's going to drive me crazy with how much weight fluctuates. Don't wanna become some obsessed girl who has to weigh herself every day multiple times per day.
So Only ONCE a week!!

Oo time to go exercise! I'll be back in a bit :)

We are gonna do this!! :D

I got done with my exercises a little bit ago and MAN did it kick my butt!
I did TJ Learn & Burn. The learn part... not sure how long it is.. think it's probably about 10minutes. Not really a workout.
Then the Burn part is about a 20min beginners workout to get you familiar with what's to come.
Then I did 30minutes on the treadmill which just about killed me.
Apparently my computer can't play DVDs even though it clearly says that it should :rolleyes: I'll have to look into that later.
So I was stuck just having to listen to music which really sucked b/c at about the 15min mark I was about ready to give up b/c I was getting bored & achy.
I stuck with it though.. achy and all for the full 30mins!
I tryed jogging at a slow pace for 1min and MAN that was really hard too. My eyes were glued to that timer and that minute seemed to last for forever rofl.
I might have to start off slower than I thought on the treadmill. Like every other day instead of every day.
We'll see how I feel tomorrow though :)
 
Lol.. I hope I don't feel that way b/c I have Learnin & Burnin to do! WOO!
I am feeling a bit of pain in my back though. I hope it's just ttotm pain and not exercise.. that way it will hopefully be gone tomorrow or at least be able to work through it ya know?

And yep.. glad to report that the electricity didn't go out! lol

I'm munching on some kimchi right now.
Including this, I've had about 1400-1600 calories today. :D
I'm gonna have to slow down with the kimchi snacking though or I won't have any left for my soup in a few weeks :eek: hehe

But the Walmart here sells Kimchi (usually by the tofu) so you could always try there! heh
I have no idea how it tastes though since I'd rather get it from a real korean store and know that they themselves made it fresh and YUM :D
 
Pretty healthy actually, low cal high fiber and chock full of vitamins and good stuff. A most excellent diet/health food by any standard (hold the noodles).
 
oh T2....Dun remind me of noodles!!!! I had it yesterday.:p

Ha i realised she meant she has not much kimchi left for soup.... lol. Not cos her quota is almost used up by kimchi. What a blur sotong I am....
 
Heh.... I still have enough Kimchi... it's just that at the rate I'm eating it, I'm not going to have enough for soup :p

My day started off with my youngest cat Stewie deciding that clawing my feet when I'm asleep would be a good idea. Now I have a painful scratch on the bottom of one of my toes. NM that he wouldn't let me get back to a restful sleep b/c he wanted to come in and Meow for attention every 30minutes :( Bad kitty!... but I still love the little bugger heh.

With my new cut on my toe... I'm gonna have to take it very light and easy on the treadmill today which I'm gonna do again!
Back is feeling a bit wonky, but as I said.. that's only from ttotm.

Oh and if you haven't noticed... I finally have a short term goal! YAY!
I want to lose 24lbs by X-mas all thanks for the Under the Christmas Tree CHallenge here on the forums :)

So I gotta keep this up if I want to lose these 24lbs by then! I hope I can lose more and report back UNDER 200!!!! But I won't be greedy :p hehe
 
You can do it! I am really inspired by your posts. Keep up the good work. I know how those animals are sometimes. Berger (My miniature schnauzer) comes and jumps on my head every morning at 5:00 a.m. on the dot :eek: I don't think I've slept in since I got him. But, ya gotta love 'em! :p Have a great Tuesday!
