Anywho.... I didn't exercise today. It was yet another night of no sleep for me. I swear... maybe I have a sleeping disorder or something... nah.. I doubt that since it doesn't happen all the time... just occasionally.
But I literally didn't go to sleep until 8am even though I had been in bed for hours trying to get to sleep.
I'm gonna have to make up exercise today on Saturday.
Grrrr... I really do hate it when I have to skip a day b/c of a stupid reason like this!

was just complaining how I don't sleep well at night do to
a moaning hubby(I think asthma related)crying baby and just
any noises I hear cuz I am not a slepp sound gal! I even have
this awesome fan that I use every night to help sleep and still
wake up gets aggervating!Anyhoo it looks like your still doing gr8
even with the lack of sleep Have a gr8 day and try to catch up on

Aww.. well I hope you start sleeping better as well! I hate not being able to sleep well b/c gosh darnit.. I do love my snoozetime! heh
Anywho... today I was supposed to do Turbo Sculpt and Ab Jam. Instead of doing that Saturday.. I'm just gonna do it tomorrow so it won't fall on the day before my rest day.
Last time I was still struggling to do the squats and lunges, but I'm really gonna try harder tomorrow. Same goes for the Ab Jam. I'm gonna pull out the Ab roller that I only used once.. and use that and see if that will help me with my crunches.
Besides the floor (even though I'm on a thick exercise mat) hurting my back.. I'm just not doing crunches right. I just can't help but pull on my neck when doing crunches so I'm not getting the affect I should.. ya know? On the video they do alot of ab stuff with their shoulders off the ground and I just can't heh.
I'm hoping the ab roller will help me! I won't be able to use my mat though so I'm gonna have to stick a pillow under my butt heh.
And yadda yadda yadda.... I'm babbling.

So sleep last night was a little better, but not by much.
I did finally get to sleep at probably around 5am, but kept waking during the morning b/c of my bad kitty cat meowing up a storm wanting attention lol.
I swear he's so spoiled! My other cat is nice and quiet, but Stewie... I swear he's such an attention hog!
He'll start meowing in the hallway. Doing that pitiful "Where is everyone?" type of meow. And then when I call him, he does the happy "Oh there you are!" one.. THEN after he jumps on the bed.. he'll continue to meow at me until I pet him.. and even then... he'll still meow until HE's satisfied with the attention I've given him :p Little pain in the butt hehe

Anywho! I had to drag my butt out of bed cause lord knows I could've stayed in there all day and slept. BUT I couldn't let myself be lazy so here I am. about 15mins away from starting my exercises :D
I think on Turbo Sculpt, when they start doing mainly squats and lunges exercises... I'll do them without the weights. and all the other stuff with either my 5lbers or 3.5s :D

Ok.. so I tryed keeping up with more of the workouts. But I'm finding it SO difficult to push myself to the point where I have to. So alot of the time.. once again I was standing around b/c I just DO NOT like that totally weak feeling in my legs. Also there's alot of bending over to do lifts for shoulders and back shoulder/muscle stuff.. and I hate that as well b/c when I bend over.. I get that out of breath feeling... so alot of the time I'm standing up straight doing what they are.

I'm just really hoping that cardio will help me shed alot of weight and THEN weight training will come alot easier. I know my weight is holding me back from really getting the workout that I need.
I also skipped out on doing the floor ab stuff as well... :eek: One of these days... one of these days....

Anywho! I did Turbo Sculpt, 10mins of Ab Jam, and 30mins treadmill. My right leg started feeling funky on the treadmill for some reason. Like almost on the verge of a cramp but not quite... I was able to walk through it though so it's all good :)
 
Hey there, I totally know what you mean about the weak feeling in the legs, its horrible. Mostly its in my knees, so when they start really feeling weak, I just slow down. I alsooooo start thinking about those guys on The Biggest Loser show, and when I watch the show I see how much pain they are in doing their exercising, so I just push myself anyway. - This soon will pass.

Anyway, it looks like you're doing good. :) About the sleeping thing, have you tried sleeping pills or something like tylenol pm?

I really don't want to take sleeping pills of any sort. Only time I don't mind something to help me sleep is if I have a cold. Then I'll take Nyquel (sp?). The stuffy nose thing when you get a cold just drives me totally insane and it keeps me up :p heh

I sleep just fine most of the time though. It's just those days where I don't suck ass :p heh

Anywho!!

I really came here to say that it looks like I'm going to be taking about a week off from exercising. My brother unfortunatly lost his job due to cut backs... and I guess to get away from it or possibly borrow money from my mom... him and his family are coming up here tomorrow (they told us this a few hours ago heh) and will be staying with us.
So... More than likely... there will be no exercising this coming week if they decide to stay til Thanksgiving.
I'm just gonna have to seriously watch what I'm eating.
Now that I'm gonna be cooking for 4 + their toddler (their baby doesn't count :p)... portioning should be alot smaller so that shouldn't be a problem. However.. I know that I'll be having some serious urges to snack so I'm gonna have to watch that.
It sucks that once again I won't be exercising, but I am excited to see them even if the circumstances for them coming up does suck... specially so so close to Xmas :(

Anywho! I'll be back though to check up and see how everyone is doing! I hope everyone has a great weekend!
I'm gonna be spending all day tomorrow cleaning up this place waiting for my bro and his family to show up! heh
 
thanx so much 4 the encouragement, you can definitely still lose weight by watchin wat u eat =-) i know you can do it-and dont worry we all get into slums every once in a while, but things'll start turning around!
 
Alrighty! So it's been a week since I've posted!
Heh.. I'm not dead.. just been busy busy and haven't been able to get on my comp for more than 5mins.
My brother and his family are still visiting us, but turns out that they're actually planning on moving back up here. Apparently there just aren't enough job oppurtunities in montgomery so they're gonna try their hands back up in SC. Plus it helps that they don't like living down there anyway.

But anywho! I haven't been exercising any. The room with the treadmill is being used for them to sleep in. Air matresses are such a pain.
And I just don't wanna do the Turbo Jam stuff in front of anyone :p heh
I haven't really been eating all that well either. UGH I'm afaid to weigh myself. I wouldn't doubt if I've gained back a good 5lbs just from this past week. I mean I haven't been gorging myself like I used to.. I've just been snacking a lil too much and eating the wrong stuff.

I have NOT given up though! I will be starting back up with exercising and kickin some jiggly fatty butt! heh

Oh and to ramble a bit off topic.... people are freaking CRAZY the day after thanksgiving!!!
We were over at my mother's house eating when we saw on the news that people were actually camping out in front of Best Buy waiting for them to open. It was only 7pm at the time and they didn't open until 5am.
So we leave there and me and the bf decide to drive by the Best Buy that's near our house (there's only 2 that I know of.. the one they showed on tv and the one near us)....it was about 8:30pm at the time.. and when we drove by.. there was already a line forming outside of the store. I'd say at least 30people.
Now that was insane but not that bad. Me and my brother were planning on getting to Best Buy at 4am to wait for them to open. SO being my naive self... we waited and headed out... we reached there at 4am on the dot.. and the freaking line of people waiting for get into the store was wrapped around the parking lot (people were having to park across the street and down the road).. and down the sidewalk. It was absolutely INSANE how many people were there.
It was definitely an experience to remember. When the store finally opened, the line did move quickly. We didn't think we were gonna be getting anything though, but we did end up getting most of what we wanted.
There were 2 things that we missed out on b/c ppl wanted them just that bad.
A 19" LCD flat monitor for something like... $129 and some language program in Italian for I think $10. What peeves me a little though is that when we were over in the monitor area.. we asked a few employees if they had anymore of the 19".. both said they were sold out already (even though we only saw 2 people carrying them)... and then later on we found out that they had put more down.... bastards. I'm hoping that they're keeping more in the back for Saturday since it is a 2day sale.
We got the 22" monitor that we wanted though. As soon as we got into the store, my brother pushed his skinny butt to the computer section and actually snagged the very last one they had. He said that he actually heard people comment saying things like "Damn, that guy grabbed the last one" lol and how people were eyeballing the items we had grabbed while waiting in line to checkout :p hehe. If I had seen another 22" I would've gotten another one.

But yeah.... I think it was worth it. Not sure if other places are doing it... but this is an almost tax free weekend. So with the 300+ dollar bill we had we only had to pay like 3 dollars tax :D
Last year I just thought people were insane to get up that early, but it was totally worth it. You just can't beat some of the deals stores are offering. Specially with how expensive gas has been.. you gotta save as much as ya can when you can :)
