ava....wow...you did great today...you've even got room for a nice healthy evening snack!!!! Good for you.

Scarlett, thanks! And I ended up drinking ALL my water, lol. Haven't eaten a snack and it's too late now to do so but oh well. maybe just fill myself up with more water, haha.

Hi, Ava, you're doing great! I just have to worn you about eating too few calories (700 is too low). If it is one day out of many, its ok, but don't do it too many days in a row, because your body will go into starving mode and will hang on to each calorie, and store it as fat, so it will be more difficult to loose later. When I started out, I did 1000 calories for 2-3 weeks. I lost 4 lbs in 1 month (which is a lot for me), but then I hit a huge plato and was barely loosing anything at all.

I think organic foods and not-processed foods are not exactly the same. I think organic are foods that do not have artificial ingredients or perservatives. Non-processed foods are foods that occur naturally. For example, most cold ready to eat cereals are processed foods, but they may be either organic or non-organic depending on the ingredients.

So, I think eating organic will be easier then eating non-processed, because organic foods have same things we are used to eating, just from more natural ingredients, and without pesticides. Either way, you will have benefit to your health, that's for sure, and good idea on gradual adjustment! It will make transition much easier and set you up for success!
Can't wait to hear how it goes!

I think the whole organic food will be great.. I really wanna do that as well. And switch to organic slowly but surely:D But you're doing good and drink that WATER :p Have a GREAT Day

NTL-Thanks for all the info! And I know my Cal intake yesterday was too low, I was just too busy to stop and have anything too substantial. Don't worry...I couldn't live off of 700 cals a day. :) I like my food too much.

JB! Thanks for stopping by and for the encouragement. Really appreciate that!

Well so far today has started off much the same 4 glasses of water so far and a yummy banana = 100 Calories.

Lunch is A South Beach Wrap at 200 Calories. In addition...2 more glasses of water.

So that's 300 Calories for the day so far and 6 glasses of water.

LOL, Ava, same here. :) I love my food too much to stay too low on calories, so for me eating above 1200 has never been a problem.
They do say that eating more often and small meals can speed up your
metabolism, which is always good.

Looks like you're doing good!

Thanks NTL! :)

Alright so dinner is...Lean Cuisine Chicken Florentine Lasagna at 280 Calories.

So that's 580 Calories so far.

Well today I've had another South Beach Diet Wrap for 200 Calories and 2 glasses of water.

It's not TOO hot out today so I'm actually going to go for a run. Woohoo.

Lunch: Jenny's Cuisine Turkey with Gravey: 270 Calories.
Few pieces of Pineapple: 40 Calories.

= 200+270+40
= 510 Calories

And plenty of water :)

So my mom made dinner tonight...Tostadas. Unhealthy but eh, that was what was in front of me. I couldn't count the calories exactly...but I'm guess that it was about 600.

So...510+600=1110

Edit...Ugh...Splurged...had another half of a Tostada...300 more cals. Oops. :(

1410.

Woohoo.. Okay so breakfast today was two pieces of wheat toast with peanut butter...totaled to around 340 Calories.

And of course my lovely water. I'm feeling darn lazy right now, but in a bit I'm going to go for a nice run. I'm interested in getting an elliptical. Honestly I have never used one, haha, but I've heard great things about them. Anyone have any suggestions about this? I was researching online and came across an artical that said the only ones really worth getting are those that cost a few thousand dollars....unfortuneately....I don't have that kind of money. I mean I guess the treadmill is nice, but it can be hard on the knees and the one we have is so darn loud. Oh well.

Looks good. You can use the same post and keep updating it for the day, so that everything for one day would be in one place. Just a suggestion... ;)

You're doing great on food. Don't worry about the splurging, it happens, its part of life. Just designate one day per week as a "cheat" day, it really helps.

Sorry . I have problems with anxiety and sometimes the exactness of posting in a row helps. I will stop though, I can see how that would become annoying. Sorry..

Well I've been doing pretty good. Lost some more weight...happy about that. I will NEVER get back to the 140's...on my honor.

Anyways...in other news...I'm being persued by a really great guy. He's 19 (two years older than me..) so I'm not sure how the parents would react to that. We went to HS together for a bit though so, I don't know...we will see what happens.

Hope everyone else is doing good!

Hmm. I didn't count for the past few days...will do tomorrow. I got back from the hospital just a bit ago and everything looks great. The only bad part is that we still don't know what's wrong which is too bad...but oh well.

Going to the baseball game today, and we're tailgating. I'm not going to have any of the junk that anyone brings, jsut the burger and fruit. That will be it for the rest of the day then, especially since I did not run at all today.

Hope you're all doing well.
