lol i hear ya on eating horrid. lets not even TALK about dining hall food aka buffet extreme with a constant fresh cabinet of dunkin donuts, sbarro pizza, burger king burgers, and taco/pasta bar always ready. or the huge cabinet filled constantly with bagels. OR the rows of kids cereal. OR the burger bar. i'm making myself hungry. but now we can all see why people gain weight in college. the food is amazing/SO BAD FOR YOU.

your workout sounds awesome. i love running so much--i'm like addicted. i can't go a day without running but i get really angry on those days where i'm just so tired and i can't run, but i feel like i should. i love the feeling of running ,especially outside. i need to run outside more often, i just don't like estimating how much i burnt
 
It's weird...ever since I've started running it's like I NEED to run...lol. I love it. It makes me feel really good. I only did a mile today as I was pressed for time and didn't eat that well. Not very good at all actually.

I had a bowl of Cocoa Krispies this morning...:eek:...They were staring me in the eye! Lunch was Mac N Cheese w/chicken and rosemary...soooooooooo good but probably not so good for me because of the goat cheese. :eek:. I tried to limit my portion though..
For dinner I had a plain turkey sandwhich and two cookies. Oops.

And of course my water. No fruit or anything today. Gahh. I'm dying.


On a brighter note...some of my clothes are fitting better!

I know exactly what you mean about running! I feel that way too!!

As for "not eating great", since you're totally aware of what you're eating it won't be a problem at all...enjoy it :D

Congratulations on the eight pound loss, that's great news. And you are doing so good with starting to run. We are all very proud of you. You can do it!!!!

Ugh I'm getting ready to go running...I'm going to *try* to up to 4 miles today. We'll see though. I haven't eaten anything yet so that may hinder. Oh well, I can always take a break and go back to it later. I just want the weight off now...but it is awesome. I love that my shirts aren't as tight on me...pleases me greatly. I was not so good yesterday but that's ok.

Oh and around midnight...I came SO close to induldging in one of the Mexican treats...SOOO close. Seriously, I was sitting there staring into the fridge. But I didn't. That was so hard...haha.
 
ooo i can't go a day without having at least run for 15 minutes..its an addiction seriously.

good luck on the 4 miles! i'm sure you can pull it off. sometimes when i'm on the treadmill i forget to look at how far i've run (usually my eyes are on the calories burned) but i looked today and i pulled out 3.5 miles! so i'm sure you can do it!
 
Well I splurged a lot today....but eh, I've been pretty good so I figure I deserved it. I think...haha. Not much I can do about it now...!

Maybe I'll go for another run later on. :eek:
 
Woo hoo I lost a pound! *dances*

My legs don't jiggle as much and I'm feeling superb. I am so close to being the weight I was a year ago...I will be so happy when I get there. It was around 134 or 135...so it's REALLY close! Almost to the 10 pound mark! Hopefully within2 weeks I will be there!

Hope the rest of you are doing well!
 
congrats on the 1 lb loss!!! that's awesome and soo exciting/motivating right? here's to another week and another pound!! lets do it again next week shall we?

Yesterday was not so good for me...but it wasn't awful.

I'm going to do 5 miles today I think. Or try my gosh darn hardest. I'm just going to eat as healthy as I can today...maybe. I think that I may steal Cecilia's "No-binge" ticker idea...that sounds like a great idea to me! Hope you don't mind, dear!

I don't know what it is, but I'm feeling REALLY motivated...I want to see a big loss from me this week....maybe I can hit the 10 pound mark?! That would be so awesome...I am just really excited right now. 2.5 pounds is a lot...and it's okay if I don't get there...but I'm going to try REALLY hard. :). Gah, I feel great.


Edit: Woohoo! Just tried on my six 6 pants...they fit pretty well! I was bummed when I had to stop wearing them because they were my favorite pants...but now they fit rather nicely. They are a smidge tight...but that is okay. The point is that they are zipped and I can walk in them comfortably. :)

Woohoo okay...so today's intake stuff.

Breakfast: Two pieces of white toast (there was no wheat...actually had less calories than the wheat bread..weird.) with peanut butter and water.

Lunch: Turkey sandwich...with just turkey on it. Haha..and some pineapple and of course more water.

Dinner will probably be chicken and some fruit and veggies.

Ran 2 miles so far...probably will run more this evening as I always do. Hope everyone else is having a great day!
 
Ok, sorry for all the posts in a row...but I just have to talk about this! I've been wanting to add jump roping into my routine for some time now...but I never got around to actually going to get a jump rope. When I used to box we'd jump rope a lot and I always remembered feeling awesome while doing it. Well it's been a few years...and I had forgotten how much of a workout it is!

Honestly...if you don't already...you should start jump roping. It kicked my butt more than the running does...and I feel worked out all over.

And if you're a very uncoordinated person...it will make you realize that. :).

I got a cool nifty one that you enter your weight into and it tells you how many rotations you're doing, how many calories you've burned, how long your workout has been...it's really cool!

Definitely suggest it to anyone looking to spice their routine up a bit!
 
In keeping with this whole honesty thing...I did binge last night. It was weird..I'm usually pretty good about it. So my ticker doesn't get to move. :eek:. I know that if I weighed-in right now...I'd be up from 137.5. I can feel it...haha. So these next days until the weigh-in...I'm in my mode. NO excuses. I have five days to get down again...and I know it will be hard but I can do it..right?

This should be interesting.
 
avaaa! this whole past weekend i've been binging :rolleyes: but its sunday and start of a fresh new week and we're going to get through it with NO binging and water, water, water, running, fruit, water, crunches, running, and water. if we can both make it to friday without having binged and having lost at least a pound, lets treat ourselves to something. if i accomplish that goal, i'm going to treat myself to a dave matthews concert DVD (because his concert last night was RIDICULOUS AND SO GOOD OMG I WANT TO SEE HIM AGAIN--okay i jus spazzed a lil bit there)

Do you have room in your daily calorie count for foods you love, so that you can have some in a controlled way so binging doesn't loom over you? Remember, YOU are in CONTROL!

and summer - you're giving me heartattacks all over the board ;) there is something about dave that...well...If I didn't already own all his music and dvds, I'd be using them as #1 motivational inspirations as well!
 
Hey Ava..... sorry about the binge. We all have bad days, but you can't dwell on it. Just keep moving up... or down, as it were, on the scale! lol :)

You're doing so well.... you will definitely make your goal by Friday. I'm hoping for 4, but that's probably pushing it. lol

Oh, and congrats on fitting back into your fave pants!! I'm jealous... I carry most of my weight in my thighs, so sz 6's aren't working for me yet. :p I have a pair of 5's that I wore years ago... I've hung onto them because they're my absolute favorite jeans ever and Levi doens't even make them anymore. (everything is stretch!! ugh) anyways, that's my goal... hopefully very soon, like you I'll be able to fit back into them!!
