It's NOT an easy program, especially in the beginning, but it does get easier after the first 10 days. The time goes by so fast and you'll never regret it!

is there a cost? if so how much? how long have you been doing it?

I'm 5'7" also. I didn't dare wear pants at 240 but right now i'm a size 10 in denims and they're very loose. I guess I'm officially an 8 but I don't want to keep throwing money down on clothes to wear for a few weeks!! I'm hoping to get to a comfy size 4 @125 pounds.
 
what size were ytou at 240.....I know I have heavy bone mass that;s why i can wear slightly flattering close than other ppl... how do i get a weight loss ticker like yours?

Honestly, I was at 240 for a very short time. I got on the scale and it showed that and I bought another scale to make sure!! I began dieting right away.. this was mid-December 2006. At the time I was wearing mostly sweat pants to work and almost everywhere [YUCK!] The largest jeans I ever owned were a 12 stretch at about 220 and under. And I have a small-medium bone frame with a good muscle build.

Rachel ray actually made something that I could have today. Hmm.. but without the butter, oil or spaghetti.

Summer Citrus


ingredients
1 pound spaghetti
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil (EVOO)
2 large cloves garlic
2 shallots
2 carrots
1 medium zucchini
1 orange
1 lemon
2 tablespoons butter
4 to 5 stems fresh thyme
A handful of flat-leaf parsley
A handful of fresh mint leaves
1 small head radicchio

86 lbs. wow!!! And you're measurements keep dropping!! You're doing great!! We weight the same now but of course I'm only 5'1" and should weight a lot less.

wow~ we have the same measurements~ =P yet you look so much thinner than I (prolly cuz I'm short)~ ;__;

I think I'll try this diet of yours now~ =)
 
KasumiNeko- You should.. it's a great, quick diet and teaches you that you don't need to eat every 5 minutes for nutrition!! Be sure to do it with with the doctors - the safe way. You can do it by mail and they monitor you by phone. And the email support is great.

Btw, we're both artists. I looked at your deviant page and I like your work! Doesn't suck at all!!
 
Today was my first Run/training. I read the book curvie recommended: The Complete Book of Running for Women by Claire Kowalchik. On page 47 they have a 10-week training guide for working up to running 30 minutes straight.

Seems like a feat for me but I'm sure I'll be back here saying I ran a marathon- that's my goal!

And I cut my hair off. Weightloss-Fitness-Chopping Hair off. So cliche.
