i never did this two months ago... when i started but got lazy and quit >.> ... i consider january 12th as my official starting and day i decided to really get fit.
-- How much weight do you want to lose? 80 pounds total... although i am down 5 pounds since the 12th :3 soo 75 pounds! =D
-- What is the timeframe for reaching your target weight? end of summer, early fall of 2009 (not 2010 =P )
-- How do you want to accomplish your goal (what methods do you want to use)? i am starting out with basics and slowly adding on... rather that trying to change everything at once. (this approach has failed me numerous times in the past D: ) for the moment i am simply doing my walk slim video, stretching and aiming to consume 1400 calories a day versus my 2000+. In about a week or two depending how i feel i will add strength training. from then i on i will add more work monthly... an extra mile, larger weights, more intense and focused stretching, and eventually a reduction to 1300 and finally 1200 calories a day as my stomach gets used to the smaller amounts of calories. lol.
-- Who or what can support you in reaching your goal? this has changed since november... my mom has become a volunteer firefighter and she too is overweight. soo i have her support... although she hasnt been doing much since my dad has been home from his job (14 days home 28 days away)
-- How realistic is your goal? until someone tells me otherwise i feel very positive about my goals.
-- When will you start? i started "seriously" january 12th 2008 before then it was just like 3 days of intensity here and there... followed by burnout. tomorrow will be the start of my 2nd week and i am still going strong!!
1. What is your current height and weight? on january 12th i was 214 (my highest weight ever >.< )
2. If you were at an ideal weight now, what would that weight be? the range of 135-140
3. At what weight would you like to be at four months from now? i would like to be near my halfway point of about 175.
4. Why do you want to lose weight? so i can feel better about myself. stop being a recluse. take risks. fully live my life. allow others to love me.
5. Do you want to lose weight for a specific life event such as wedding or reunion? If so, when is that event? i will be starting college in fall of 09 i would like to look good also i know at any moment i could be taken on a family trip to visit relatives or old family friends. i want to feel confident. many have not seen me since before i gained weight.
6. What obstacles could get between you and your weight loss goals? my family buys alot of junk food. i think remaining true to myself and not overindulging may be a problem. or getting hurt and just falling over the exercise bandwagon.
7. Why do you think that you now have a weight problem? =T just being told unsupportive things when i was young and unlike my brother and sister my parents forced me to eat everything on my plate soo now i feel like i have to. >.< i remember one time when i was 14 i wasnt actually overweight just curvy and my mom was making me try on clothes at a department store. and she got frustrated because nothing was fitting me properly and she called me fat. after that i think i pretty much started gaining for about 4 and never stopped.
8. What lifestyle changes do you think would help you lose weight? just getting more active... and not constantly snacking. that is my major problem. my love for snacks.
9. Have you lost weight in the past? If so, what has worked in the past to help you lose weight? i have never been able to lose weight. i have always just had a horrible time of deciding i will just start doing 5 miles a day, strength train ridiculously and drop my calories to like 1000. this works for a day or two. i get tired and i binge and then quit.
10. Why do you believe that you did not lose weight or you gained the weight back? the answer is i tried to change too many things at once and it overwhelmed me, physically and mentally.
11. What, if anything, has not worked for you in the past in helping you to lose weight? Why do you think it did not work? lol as in the previous question, changing too many things at once. it is too hard. you feel drained and too sore to continue usually.
12. Would you try writing down all food and drink consumed for a given period of time? i have just started doing that and i am totally loving it. it makes me realize how much of a distortion i have about proportion sizes.
13. Do you cook at home often? If so, what do you cook? ummm i dont cook alot... my mom does that. but i have started measuring out my servings before i eat them.
14. How often do you go out to eat? Where do you go? not as much lately. we end up everywhere, fast food joints, restaurants, and subway :3
15. What are your three favorite foods? subway sandwiches, salmon wellington, grilled chicken
16. What are your three favorite restaurants? subway, all you can eat buffets, hank's
17. What are three things you can do differently when it comes to food? check portions, count calories, eat my veggies first and fill up on them a bit.

If you woke up tomorrow and your body was exactly the way you want it, what would be different? i would be 75 pounds lighter, i would have clear skin, be flexible enough to do the splits and strong enough to throw hay bales continuously. :3 i would have a bounce in my step and would be thrilled to hangout with friends and run a couple of miles everyday. *_*

25. What do you normally eat for a meal? oversized portions of baked potatoes, chicken, several extra meals a day of humongous size
26. What type of snacks do you eat? candy bars
27. In terms of exercise, what, if anything, are you currently doing? before i was doing nothing. for the last week i have been doing about 50 minutes of cardio a day
28. Where do you go for exercise? A local public gym? School/work gym? Home? my home
29. What, if anything, are your three favorite types of exercise? walking, flexibility exercises, pilates
30. What is your daily/weekly/monthly/yearly motivation to move towards your goals? thinking of seeing friends reactions when i have lost the weight.
31. Do you have rewards for certain goals? ummm well i intend to get a tattoo and my belly button pierced, an additional set of ear piercings (i have just one atm) and go visit several friends across america. and of course: NEW CLOTHES, ACCESSORIES, AND SHOES!!! :3
