Angela's Diary

You are going to do it. One day at a time. Just keep your food in control and get at least 30 mins of cardio a day. You can do this. You have to be the one to make this happen. I told Ali once that you almost have to be OC about this to make it happen quick, but you do.

Act like Monk for a couple of months. OK. I can do that.

I may be Irish but I'm stubborn as a German! lol

(If anyone reading this is German, no offense intended at all. :D My littlest one is half German.)

1/4 German here. No offense taken. My German grandfather was a thing of legend. My kids know all about him even though he died 15 years before the oldest was born. My grandparents met working at the Plaza in NYC. She, Irish off the boat, and he, upscale German. When she told him that she wanted to get to know him better, he responded, "I do not associate with those whom I work." (Yes, he really talked that way.) She said, "we'll see about that." They were married over fifty years. Just goes to show you that the Irish fire can overcome German stubbornness.

That's great, Trops. I love it! Interesting how we all have such a mixed heritage these days. I have Irish, Cherokee . . . and probably something else thrown in there somewhere, lol.

So I guess there is no hope for me then...I am Italian, German, Irish and Panamanian.

Oh well, life goes on :D

Hehe, and I think at some point we've seen all of them come out. ;)

(When I first read that I thought it said Pomeranian. I was gonna have so much fun with that! :p)

Well at my heaviest I probably could have passed for a Pomeranian...aren't they kinda round???

I am many different women...I know, I know but think of the FUN you would have missed if I was normal.

I think they're more fluffy, lol. Little round cotton balls that yap.

Yeah, your craziness is an adventure. Wouldn't miss it for the world! :D

I am nothing if not memorable. Very few people can say that they have ever met anyone quite like me.

I love that about myself for some reason :)

Yeah, it's good to be unique. I don't know anyone else like me, either. You come pretty close, though. (Not sure if that is a compliment or an insult. You pick. :D:D)

Compliment. I would agree we are a lot alike...better to take over the forum with!

1/2 German. No offense taken. I am stubburn as a mule and my father is worse!

Yeah, well at least you guys dont get remembered for being the one legged guy. Sheesh.

I never remember that. In fact, when I didn't even realize it until I read your journal - even though I had seen your pic. *shrugs* All I noticed was you, the kiddo, and the chrome. :D

lol, my baby girl is right up there with you. :D

Yeah, well at least you guys dont get remembered for being the one legged guy. Sheesh.

I am going to pretend you didn't say that.

No one who matters even remembers that about you.

I matter and I never remember. So get over it. You are remembered for far more important things than that.

Yeah, well at least you guys dont get remembered for being the one legged guy. Sheesh.

I think about the saying "A one legged guy in a but kicking contest" every time one of these guys talks about kicking but. I think you can hold your own, though.
