Angela's Diary

See, and I say that and mean it. I love my job. My last job could have been one of the worst jobs ever. It might have even made it on one of those TV shows about bad jobs. It was at a garbage incinerator. There was almost nothing worth while about it. When I left and took my present job, the worst day is still so much better then the best day there. Now, I love my job.

What do you do?

I thought you had all the goods on me. Weren't you the one taking aerial photos of me the other day? :)

I said I know where you live. I never said I know where you work. Kinda like Chandler on Friends. (I don't think I ever figured that one out, lol)

Tuesday, 4:33 p.m.
It's happened. I knew it would. I've been standing guard. But it still happened. I slipped off the wagon. I began what could have been a real big mistake, but thankfully caught myself in a fairly decent amount of time. I believe in the whole "one day at a time and if you mess up, move on" thing but I am so pissed off at myself right now. There are a myraid of defenses (excuses) I could utilize . . . weather, stress, blah, blah, blah . . . but really, what's the point? Excuses are just little justifications to do it again another time. I could have done a whole lot more damage - and I have in the past. What happened was not life-ending. It wasn't the end of the world. I know it's stupid to be this mad at myself over something so small. The lack of self control just annoys the hell out of me. I so detest drama and this does sound a bit dramatic - however - I wanted to write this down so that next time I get the urge to splurge on shit I don't need, I can come here, read this, remember how I feel right now, and perhaps regain control next time. So, now I am spending what is left of my afternoon lecturing myself not to do it again and doing my best to just get over it already. Thank God tomorrow is Friday. I am so ready for a relaxing weekend by the pool. At this point I don't even care if it does rain (which it probably will.) I just wanna swim all my cares away. Wouldn't that be a sight to behold - me lying next to the pool . . . in a lawn chair . . . sunglasses on . . . in the pouring rain. Lol, with my luck, though, I'd end up on UTube. :svengo: Although, it would almost be worth it just to see the looks aimed my way.

Whatever you did it cannot be that big of a deal Angela.
You are on the road to it but- forget it and move on.

The weekend is coming and even if the weather sucks it is still better than being at work.
Smile chippie- all is well.:D

I do feel better after my little rant.

:D :D :D :D That better? ;)

As long as you did not punch anyone it is all good.

Sarcastic smiling doesn't count.:(

What did you do anyway?

Again. Not sarcastic. If I were being sarcastic I wouldn't have added the little ";)" at the end. :p

I visited the junk drawer and ate stuff I had no business eating. I've had a light dinner now and, although I know I shouldn't have done it, I've moved on. I'm chalking it up to: Lesson Learned. :D:D

sorry, unaware of the rules of sarcasm.;)

That all?
I thought you ordered the left side of the McDonald's menu.:D
Lesson learned without a doubt.
Have a good evening.

lol, was I that dramatic? Surely not. And you are aware of the rules of sarcasm. I've seen you use them. Quite well I might add. :D

Have yourself a great evening.
