Angela's Diary

Saturday, 2:26 p.m.
Just stopping in for a quick update. I've been good today, which is a triumph in itself - I'm usually terrible on the weekends. I posted some before/during pics earlier (http://weight-loss.fitness.com/before-after-between/22207-angela-s-losin.html) and I think seeing the "old" me has kept me from visiting the fridge and pantry. Lol, maybe I should print it out and put it on the fridge door so I have to look at it every time I go to grab a snack. Kinda gray outside today but no rain and it's pretty warm. May take the kiddos swimming in a bit. Tomorrow we are taking a trip to the zoo to walk around all day and picnic. Should be fun. Maybe with so much to look at and do (it has a small water park for kids) my darling little daught won't complain of the walking. :p

Hope everyone has a great weekend! Tomorrow starts a new month, a new challenge, and I am so ready! :D

Monday, 12:08 p.m.
I'm a bit late this morning, er, well afternoon now. I have a lovely case of laryngitis. How fun is that? It was a good weekend. Saturday Nikki and I went to the gym and worked out for an hour. I was so proud of her - she logged 3/4 mile on the treadmill and then 1-1/4 miles on the cross-trainer. That afternoon we all in the pool. Sunday we all went to the zoo after church. The zoo now has a splash park for kids and we all played in the water a little bit. All of us had a lot of fun. The increased exercise I enjoyed over the weekend had its rewards - I had no appetite so I ate minimally and I must've burned some pretty good calories because I was down 2 lbs this morning from Friday's weigh in. I'm thinking if it was a fluke, it would have been an up-tick, not down, because TOM is still in the neighborhood. Of course, it doesn't count until my next weigh-in. I stepped on out of curiosity's sake anyway.

I really have no meal plan today. I forgot to eat breakfast and here it is already lunch. I have cajun sweet tater fries in the oven and fresh peaches chilling in the fridge for dessert. I may take a nap after that. I am completely worn out and my throat is on fire. Lol, if I try to talk above a whisper I scare away children and small animals. Best to be quiet for now. :D

Hope everyone has a wonderful Monday!!

Now. Read the above definition very carefully. I can certainly claim innocence. I just never indicated innocence from what . . . :p
