And so it begins, again.

My dilema is I will want to drink. Should I stick to hard stuff instead of beer? I'm not sure which will have less calories.
gotta go with what satisfies you the most...

I'm a guiness fan myself - and while it's got more calories than a light beer -the satisfaction factor is far greater so i will drink less of them...

Light beer might have less calories than booze - but anytime you drink something that's the same color going in that it is going out --you tend ot need a lot more of them to get that same satisfaction

Oh, NM looks like it is a kit. No prices on site though.

Yeah, I don't think you will see prices it's up to the retailers. It's an easy kit to use, you really can't screw it up. Make sure to follow the directions and your good to go.

I agree Mal, I'll stick to the good stuff. :)

Nope I was wrong. The Brew House is a "beer" kit. But I would still need an "equipment" kit.

I'm gonna need to do some research. Maybe I can get by the library this weekend.

Between 21-25 liters. There are roughly 3 beer cans per liter. More water, less %, less water, more %. I aim for 23 liters, that makes your beer 4.9%-5.1%

Yeah, sorry about that, I thought you ment a beer kit, not the equipment. The equipment will run you about 40 bucks, plus you can buy extras.

I've been away all weekend, had an absolute blast. I didn't care about my consumption so I didn't lose any weight last week, but I didn't gain either. Still did my workouts. which is great.

The Funk Boat was the most fun I've had in months, ended up dancing all night and dinking with a huge group of friends, we were about 20-30 close friends, it was so fun.

Yesterday I got back on track, and now I am back here on the forums, yay

Good to see you back! Had a similar weekend in that respect. Had to bring my daughter to colllege in Maine, ended up spending Friday night in Bar Harbor at a really nice hotel. Decided that calories would be my friend... as in , no counting for the weekend, but managed to use the work out room in the hotel, and swam some laps in the hotel pool to keep things moving.

Came out of the weekend in the same place I started, so I'll take it.

Thanks for stopping in on my threads too by the way, I appreciate the support.

Yeah, I figured if you wont care about calories for a weekend, then you better get your workouts in hahaha.

Tonight I'm in for a great workout. Eliptical and lower body. My legs can't wait.

Let me know how the workout went.

You know, this exercise stuff is almost as addictive as some of the bad habits I used to have... If I don't get my work out in on a given day, I feel like my whole system is thrown off.

It went really well. I agree completely, I need to do something and I'm begining to love it. Soon I'll start feeling great and I'll be fully addicted. I'm a creature of habbit and I think most people are.
