also I think it would be fun to adopt instead of just buy one, and get him some daily exercise. I am liking the idea more and more!

Hey, I feel the pain of eating out :( It's so hard to maintain a diet and eat out. Can choose healthy option but ya just never know exactly whats in it. It's a friend bday this weekend and we are going to an italian place but they really dont do anything half healthy and kinda dreading it. All my friends are supperslim and then theres me the umpa lumpa and gunna look daft tryin to explain to waiters how i want my food :eek: they always tend to get it wrong. At least you managed to bump up your calorie intake because you have been eating 800-1000 ish calories. You totally should get a dog best thing since sliced bread i have a poopay lol I'll add a pic for you :D Well done with all your excercise get a ncie hot bath to ease the soreness!! I wanna work out in hot little outfits tooo!!
My puppy is a 10 month old alaskan malamute and had just finished giving me a hand gardening lol

woo italian restaurants tend to throw olive oil, cream and cheese over anything. hopefully they will get it right!

yeah I don't think a broccoli soup or a salad killed my diet but it is helping me stay on my calorie intake without being too extreme.

I can´t have a big one due to lack of space but I think it would be a great addition to my daily life.
I just have a cat, that thinks he is a dog and follows me around haha
 
I want a Husky :( or a Pit. I love BIG dogs. Would like to run around with them and slap their ass, hahahahaha

I've heard of cats following their owners. I wish I could have a cat like that. Does it do that naturally or did you train it?
 

I had such a terrible time trying to sleep yesterday!
my back is killing me and I woke up and went to bed so many times I missed school.
I really need to go to a doctor and see what's going on. this chronic middle back pain is unbearable, I am trying yoga-pilates and regular exercise to strengthen my muscles but I still need to treat it.

anyway besides that it's been good.

I had a spinach-low fat cheese sandwich with whole grain bread, a cup of green tea and a pear. I am quite full! I think my body is responding well to portion control.

I have to go shopping for a school project so I'll walk a bit extra today. I think I am going to use my stationary bike and do some yoga-pilates as well.
I have so many things to do for school!
thankfully this semester is almost over :p and I have a whole summer to do my social work and lose a little weight before going home.

it is a dream really, going back to the place I grew up, surrounded by all the laughter. it is so not fair that people make fun of you because you are overweight. I know even though I am doing this for me.. showing off doesn't hurt!

that's it for now, I should be going to get the materials and clean up my house. it is a mess! the good news? cleaning is also exercise. so I am actually looking forward to it, weird huh?

as for the back thing, you ever done like back raises and stuff? helps build up the back and all that, or do some like torso twist stuff. work that erector spinae muscles...

Yes I do those using the fitness ball for support. but I am going to the doctor still to see if there's nothing wrong with me- well something besides the usual wackness :p

today started a bit slow.
I had another tough night- twisting and twirling in my bed. ohh, I need to buy one of those relaxing teas or something. and do my exercise routines earlier- not at 9-10 pm like I usually do!

I went to buy some materials for an art installation. that made me walk for like 15-20 min to begin with.
then I went to a really big flea market that opens on weekends. I was looking for the rest of the materials and basically enjoying the .. folklore of it. A lot of different sounds, smells, colors, shapes. I am a very visual person so I enjoy the contrasts. I got a bit dizzy and din't realize why until I noticed I had been walking around for 3 hours and I just had a bowl of cereal and a pear five hours ago. no wonder!
also I got excited to discover that walking for that long burns around 500-600 calories and not even at a fast pace! love it. I am the queen of walking.

so I got back home and prepared a spinach salad with chicken breast, some cashew nuts and a very small portion of pasta with veggies.
I was halfway through and I couldn't eat anymore. I saved it for later!

I know I am eating healthy but I think I am still eating a lot of carbs. sure, they are mostly fruit carbs or whole grain carbs but still. I am afraid to cut them entirely from my diet because I know that when I go back to eating ''regularly'' goodbye weight loss. it is better to go slow even if it takes a longer time, this is just a healthy lifestyle.

also I realized I am eating way better than I thought considering how most people eat around here. when I was at the flea market I noticed all the tacos and carnitas (meat) swimming around grease. the cakes, flans, candy. and what do you drink with your taquitos? regular coca cola. starch and more starch, combined with fat and sugar. I was like: dear lord. I wouldn't eat any of these. a single portion of it counts for my calorie intake of like.. three days.
and ironically I am eating more because I am adding fruits and vegetables. and the water makes me feel full most of the time.

I am also learning more about calories and exercise. if I exercise more, I can eat more. sounds simple but I didn't think of it like that before, and I am eating more than enough so I am not really looking forward to more food right now! this could work in the long term.
I am happy to say that this is the lifestyle I could be in for many, many years. no more ''quick'' fixings, no more diet pills and late night binging.. no more.

and even though I walked for 3 hours I am still doing my exercise routine in a bit: 30 min - moderate- on my stationary bike and 20 min stretching-yoga.

if I don't start losing weight it is because there's something biologically wrong with me. seriously!
