AmbaLove is Tracking the Journey!

Posted my 15 pt recipe.

Also meant to mention last night and earlier today, but forgot both times.....

last night I bought new jeans and new cords and they are both a 16! I am thrilled. At first, I was like "Oh, these don't fit." Because I am so used to baggy britches that can fall off without unbuttoning them and I forgot what pants are supposed to feel like, you know, hugging those curves in the right places and skimming over the rest! Once I realized that, I was like, "Wow. They fit really nicely."

So, another size officially down.

Isn't that the absolute best feeling ever!!!
I love it when I can go buy something new and "feel" the difference.
WAY TO GO!
And Way to go on 2.5 down! I am hoping for a big lose next week as I didn't have much this week.
Keep it up. :hurray:

Hi Amber

I have been catching up with the last few days of your diary.

I had never heard of Zumba so I googled it - it looks really fun. I would take a class in that if it was available.

I love the aerobics that I do. I also do yoga - but I prefer aerobics.

I have heard that yoga is very good for maintaining certain things for when you get older (or at least that is what they said on "A girls guide to 21st century sex" tv program) so you may want to take it up again in 20 to 30 years time. A girl can never be too careful.

It is brilliant about the weight loss. 2.4 pounds is an excellent weekly loss and it is wonderful that you held it off. You also gained maximum points this week on the challenge.

On top of that you are down a clothes size. That is even better news.

Congratulations.

Take care
Love
Margaret

Well you must be truly proud of yourself for your continued success. All your efforts and determination are paying off in spades! Way to go girl :)!

congrats girlie on the weight loss!!!!! You are doing great! The Zumba dvds are fun.....the class is probably great....my gym has it but i havent had time for the class.
What are wild berry crisps????? you have me craving something i did even know what the hell it is!!!!!lol
Hope everything is great...oh and congrats on the 16's!!!:)

Rena

Rena, wild berry patch crisps are like chips, but made of fruit....and sweet and good...I found them in the health food section of my normal grocery store.

Thanks everyone! I was really happy to wear brand new jeans that looked nice on me today. My husband sais "Huh! Those really hug your butt a lot better than your others."
I'm taking that as a compliment...

Did 30 minutes on the elliptical today, and took a 20 minute walk with my niece and nephew (well, best friend's kids) to look at Christmas lights. I love the excitment of kids. We walked, admired and sang christmas songs. I was a bit disappointed that no neighbors offered cocoa to us intrepid carolers! Thats what always happens in books and movies.

Got in all my protein, but barely as I slept through breakfast. I had to pack it in at lunch and dinner to make up for it.

Oh hell yah that's a compliment right there. When the first thing your man notices is your ass, then it's ALL GOOD in the HOOD, ma! hahaaa! Oh and if you came to my house and was singing Christmas songs, I would have been more than happy to bust out hot cocoa with whipped cream for you all. It's payment for standing in the damn cold and singing IMO. haha!

speaking of hot cocoa....why is it that ff hot chocolate never goes on sale???? The healhy shit is always so expensive!!!sorry----personal rant!!!lol
Here almost nobody has their lights out yet....im surprised.

Rena

Screw that fat free shit, woman! Go for the no sugar added types. It's only about 60 calories (made with water, 160 cals made with 1c 1% milk) and it's okay to have fat here and there. Besides, unlike the fat free types, these ones actually go on sale! HA! Check out walmart. They're ~ $1 for a box of ummm.. I think 6 or 8.

Mami... what do you think I'm drinking right now? hahaaa! It's that or coffee... and well, I'm not a big fan of being a jittery twit at the mo. HA! (If I wanted decaf, I'd drink hot water. haha)

CONGRATS on the weight loss this week

HUGE CONGRATS on being a 16!!!
You much feel great buying clothes WELL DONE YOU
And show them curves!!!! Im glad your hubby noticed thats a complement without a doubt

Have a good week

Went to the gym after church and did the work required to continue fitting into my new jeans! Did 15 minute warm up on the TrueStride for 1.8 miles on the rolling hills setting, 10 minutes stretching, abs and core, 30 minutes weights, and 45 minutes on the TrueStride for 6.4 miles on the easy intervals setting, totaling 100 minutes. I also did a butt load of christmas shopping, but thats not really "exercise" as much as incidental movement.

Okay, totally off topic, but seeking information and opinions, which I know you all have droves of!

My class has recieved permission to get a class pet in January.

Musts: No snakes (or my aide will quit!), animal must be happy to reside in a cage/tank at least 1/2 the time (it can come home with me and I can let it out as I please), not a nocturnal animal (as we would only see it sleep), not fish (we already have those), nothing that bites or is poisonous.
Negotiables: Prefer it not too get so large that it needs anything bigger than a 40g aquarium, not a smelly creature, can live alone (or if not, that two are not outrageouly costly), something with a longer life span so it won't die too quickly.

Ideas I have so far:
russian tortoise
green anole
chinese water dragon
iguana
leopard gecko
dwarf rabbit
rat

Anyone have other suggestions or have/had one of these and can tell me how appropriate it would be as a class pet?

I've got a fluffy-assed cat you can have--but I don't think she'd like living in a cage. And I'm sure my dad would have some major objections (she's his baby)...lmao :D

Congrats on being down another dress size. Was there more love under the Christmas tree after your hubby complimented you? I'm thinking those jeans didn't stay on long. :D

At today's weigh in I was back up to 215.6. But, the gremlins came yesterday, so I am not shocked at the slight gain.

I had a body composition analysis done today and was VERY pleased. I started at 46.2% boday fat, and am now at 41.0%. My lean body mass started at 129.1 and is now 129.0. EVERYTHING I've lost was fat!!! I am maintaining my muscle mass. That pleases me much. My dietician said that is the least loss of lean body mass she has ever seen.

Kimberly, as he said that, he was on his way out the door to work, so no lovin' on saturday...yesterday was another story. And 30 minutes later, the gremlins came, so I am glad we got it in first!
