AmbaLove is Tracking the Journey!

Hi Amber

I just called in to say that we are on the same team for the challenge. I am sure that our team is going to be the most fun.

I have been reading the last few pages of your diary and am sorry that the test was negative - I was really hoping for that miracle for you there. You are losing weight well and still young so there is still hope - especially with medical advancement all the time. If you get signs that you might be pregnant again in the future take extra care of yourself until you know for sure. You may well know that PCOS girls have a higher risk of miscarriage if they do manage to get pregnant.

Take care
Love

Went to the dietician's this morning for my official weigh in...................................................................................................................

I now weigh 215.6!!!!

How on earth I managed that over thanksgiving I'll never know! (Had to have been from the gym, cause it sure wasn't from the diet...)

Hi Ambalove!!!
I see that we are on the same team for the Holiday Challenge. And I just saw that you weighed in at 215. That is AWESOME!!!!
Now if only I could say that I lost weight over Thanksgiving. LOL
Congrats!

Hi Amber

That is down on Saturday's challenge weight for you. That sounds like 2 points in the bag for our team this week. Well done.:hurray:

Don't jinx me, Margaret! I have been known to go back up inexplicably...

Went to the gym and did 30 minutes (4.3 miles) on the True Stride, random intervals setting. I planned to do 60, but the gym was PACKED (everyone working off thanksgiving calories!), and they have a rule, with signs posted, that cardio machines are limited to 30 minutes if people are waiting, which there were. So, blah, I missed 30 minutes because I could not wait and go again after everyone was done.

Oh, well. I already have 2h45m this week, so I cannot be too upset at myself.

That's the one thing that I don't enjoy about working out at the gym. Well actually 2 things. The waiting for your turn thing and then having to get off when you really just want to pound it out.
Great job on getting your time in this week.

My scale has me down another pound today! I am having trouble believing it as I ate a chimichanga last night for dinner and mexican food tends to make my weight go up...but I am thrilled to see that new low on my scale!

Your making me very jealous all these lbs just falling off!!!
Well done you going they gym is really paying off really happy to see the scale is moving sorry running in the right direction

Sarah

Hi Amber

All this weight loss you are having makes me jealous. I still have Saturday's weight. I still have 3 days to go before the next challenge weighing so I am still hoping and working hard.

Well done for doing the exercise too.

You really are an asset to our team.

Take care

Well, I am not trying to make you ladies jealous, but I am very excited about it! It's my first string of good losses since august. I was starting to get upset by the stagnating, so I am glad it appears to be over for now.

But, I'm not counting on anything. I could very well be back up by saturday, my body is known to do crazier things.

I doubt it will go back up all that work you do in the gym?!!!
You should be happy and jumping round the room i know i would be!

Sarah

Be excited - I certainly would be. I am so pleased that the stagnating seems to be kind of (touch wood / fingers crossed etc) maybe - over.

I know what you mean. My body does crazy things too. It's great that your body is behaving itself for a spell.

2.5 hour staff meeting tonight meant no gym. But, I have a headache, so I am not too bummed about it. I know I'll make it up tomorrow (weights day)!

Yup, sometimes life gets in the way. Hey..as long as we're exercising more days than not, we're still ahead of the game.

What do you usually do for your weights routine?

Well, I was up .5 today, but no surprise as I ate baked pasta last night, and, well, lets just say I did not stick to the one cup portion size.

Claudia, for weights I do a combination of machine and free. Machines I use are lat pull down, chest press, hip adduction and abduction, low back, and seated row. I use dumbbells to do bicep curls, the beind the head tricep thing (don't know the technical name) and shoulder press. I use the angled leg press with the plates and I hold a 20 lb bar while doing squats over a weight bench.

WORD! I'm glad for you sweetie :D

:driving: Just thought I'd drop by to see how you're doing. Hope your headache is a thing of the past, and that you've been able to make it back to the gym! Congrats on your recent losses! WOOT! Feels great to be going in the right direction, does it not?

Keep it up, kiddo.
