My stepmom had emergency surgery today to remove a third of her intestines.
My mom's brother is in the hospital with pnemonia and 2 collapsed lungs.
My aunt (mom's twin) SHOULD be in the hospital, but refused to be admitted. The doctor told her she will likely die within the week without it.
My godmother got into a wreck in the UPS truck...with a school bus full of kids. The bus driver LEFT THE SCENE.

Yeah. It was depressing to see that the poor size six mannequins are considered "plus sized."
I am starting to feel better, so that is happy news. But everything at home is falling apart (my hometown, not the home I reside in), which is depressing.
My stepmom had emergency surgery today to remove a third of her intestines. I have no idea why, that is all my dad left on my voicemail. Who taught him to leave a voicemail like that???? You have to give a person all the information.
My mom's brother is in the hospital with pnemonia and 2 collapsed lungs.
My aunt (mom's twin) SHOULD be in the hospital, but refused to be admitted. She passed out on Thursday and was taken to the hospital and her blood sugar was 560. After an insulin shot, it dropped to 60. She drank and orange juice and it went back up to 340. But she will not let them admit her to the hospital because she did not want to miss her son's homecoming game and her family's trip to Worlds of Fun on Sunday. She really needs an insulin pump installed. The doctor told her she will likely die within the week without it. We are trying to talk some sense into her, but she is not listening.
My godmother drives for UPS and has for 17 years. On Thursday, she got into a wreck in the UPS truck...with a school bus full of kids. She got all cut up, but nothing serious. The bus driver LEFT THE SCENE. There is now an investigation and if she is found even slightly at fault (shich she says she is not), she will lose her job.
Yeah, fun times. I cannot do anything about any of it...but I am still a bit stressed about it.

Well, I lost 2.6 lbs in the last two weeks!! Unfortunately, the happy news ends there....
My stepmom is still in the hospital, her incision became infected and they had to remove the staples. Once they did, they found she was having horrible blood clots and had to suction them out. She is now closed up temporarily with something other than staples that they can keep opening and closing for a while to make sure all the clotting is dealt with. She will be in the hospital for awhile.
My uncle is on the mend, but this was his 12th bout of pnemonia in a little under two years. He is now down to 121 lbs (at 5'8"). He really cannot take much more of this without dying. We are VERY concerned about this winter if he already getting pnemonia and it is only September. He is only 49, which is young to struggle with pnemonia this badly. He has never smoked, either. The doctors are at a loss as to why he is so susceptible.
My aunt is STILL not in the hospital, but is taking 8-14 insulin shots a day to try and regulate her blood sugar. If she does not succumb to the hospital soon, she will succumb to death instead. She has a 16 year old and a 17 year old, so she needs to get this taken care of before they lose their mom.
My godmother's accident is still "pending investigation."
And, to add to the list, my grandpa has a growth on his face that has TRIPLED in size since LAST MONDAY. And he, also, is refusing to see a doctor. He says my grandma has enough to worry about without him being in the hospital so he is refusing to go until my stepmom is out. Something that grows that quick just might not wait until he decides to go.
Anyhow, that is the saga of never ending drama.

If you need someone to BS with, you know you can count on me. I promise not to be a smart ass either.. and that in itself, is very difficult on my part.
Hope you're loving the fall, little mama.. personally speaking, I'd take this over winter ANY day. haha Love yas, girl...
