HELLO AND WELCOME TO MY FOOD LOG :D

i am considered EDNOS, but am technically recovered, as i haven't INTENTIONALLY self-starved or purged at all in around 2 years.
(i have eaten barely anything for a while because of lack of appetite, but i now force myself to eat.
i do enjoy the taste of food, it's just hard to eat when you don't feel hunger.
also i throw up sometimes from coughing too hard, but i'm cutting down on how much i smoke cigarettes to try and help that.)

but even though i'm technically considered recovered, i still have that anorexic mindset, so i get upset at my calorie intake being over 800,
even though multiple people have told me to eat about 1200 calories a day.
[ I HAVE CHANGED MY DAILY CALORIES FROM 1200 TO 1500 BECAUSE I AM HAVING TROUBLE STAYING UNDER 1700]
also i will update the total every time i add something new,
so if you see really low calories as my total it is because it's in progress.


oh and just for the sake of seeing how my body changes with weightloss, i will post pictures,
and every so often i will take a new picture so i can physically see my progress.
and i do not care if you share the pictures, i have them publicly on facebook.




let's start off with logging the past few days in this post, and then i will start making new posts for intake each day.
i will also post a bit about what i feel from the day's intake. i will also post my weight every so often, but not every day.

Funny...I like food way too much and you don't seem to like it enough. We all have our "issues" dont we? I am glad you posted. Lots of nice folks on here. Ok one idea popped into my head that might make you enjoy or want to eat a bit so I will throw it out there. Have you tried planning and prepairing a really nice meal? Maybe a bit fancy. One thats pleasurable visually and aroma wise and of course taste....might enhance the whole experience for ya....just an idea....Welcome!

thanks :D i also use another screenname that i like, but i thought it would be inappropriate for me to use it here... it's Morbid Obesity.

i really just can't STAND cooking. i can cook for my boyfriend, and can eat some of that too, but when it comes to just me eating, i'd rather have a freezer meal or ramen... both of which i need to STOP because of the high sodium, especially as i'm on blood pressure pills and it's still high.

i'm trying to get into it. i was supposed to exercise yesterday, but i slept through the majority of the day, and my alert on my phone to go work out actually woke me up. and then within a few hours i had fallen asleep again.
 
Activity will help. Exercise will way increase your energy, stamina and even improve your sleep patterns. Good luck gettingthat going

actually i didnt have these exhaustion issues until i got my meds changed. but they changed back, idk why i'm still tired. but both yesterday and today i went on a short walk.
 
What Brawny said. Every day you force yourself to be more active the more energy you'll have and the less forcing it will take. Keep up the good work! You'll get there.

That brewed tea will be way better than the Arizona high fructose corn syrup nasty stuff!

Nice job also on the walks. You have youth on your side, you will get fit quick if you stay with it.

actually the diet-decaf arizona green tea i get has no HFCS, but it DOES have splenda, which is why i'm no longer drinking it. the only sweeteners i need are small amounts of sugar (for instance, today i split LESS that a teaspoon of sugar over 4 cups of coffee) and honey.

and thanks, the walks are super-short, but they're all i can handle with my chronic pain. also, it's getting nicer so i may be able to start going for bike rides again, which is a lot easier on my weak joints than walking. i also found my shake-weight, i need to start using it, even if all i can handle is a minute a day (those shake weights really work you out, your arms get tired within seconds of using it).
