Thanks LaMa, but it is a niece, not the granddaugher. That´s an incredible difference my friend. And whether or not you´re proud of your old pics you still look like a kind, decent person in them. And your granddaughter (I assume?) is adorable.
Thanks Cate, I hope my nature is at least partly as kind as y'all say it is.It is an incredible difference, Rob and your kind nature definitely shines through in all of your photos.
I am not sure, but I am close. I am still in the BMI overweight range, and I know I still have some fat to lose, but not a whole lot. I will reevaluate with I return from the trip and see.Are you at the point of looking to maintain now?
Thanks Petal, I like it put that way. I still have 14 lbs to go to be at exactly half my starting weight, but I am getting close.Rob you are half the man you were
No, to tell the truth I had to ask others to find anything like a before picture. I had no profiles I wanted to keep.you're better than me in saving old photos.
some past body profiles i'd rather forget.
Thanks Jack, and the shark adventure was cool, one on my favorite childhood memories. Monday I will be fishing with the friend who was with me that night, bigger nicer boat and we will probably catch more edible fish, but it will not be anything like the shark adventure.Rob that shark story is cool. Even cooler - 174 lbs what the heck? You going to weigh less than me in a couple of weeks.
Thanks Emily, but I am not yet to the "healthy" BMI, but getting closer. I know I look slim in the pictures, and by my standards I am, but I also know there is a bit of fat yet I would be better off without. You look really thin now. You must be in a healthy BMI range now surely?
How wonderful that you're keeping up with childhood friends over all that time and distance.Monday I will be fishing with the friend who was with me that night, bigger nicer boat and we will probably catch more edible fish, but it will not be anything like the shark adventure.
No, not this time. Night time is the best time to shark fish, they feed at night. But I have caught enough sharks, something unsatisfying about spending hours catching an inedible fish. And sharks are getting endangered.no all night shark fishing!
It is good to see people you have known so long. Actually my shark fishing buddy was my best friend from age about 5 to 15, we then moved away and lost touch for a long time. He looked me up a few years ago and we reconnected. Our lives have gone very different ways, and he does not seem to be the kind of person my friends are (he probably thinks the same about me) but the old relationship seems to have rekindled and be enough to overcome differences. How wonderful that you're keeping up with childhood friends over all that time and distance.
I am sure it will be retold many times in the next couple of days.I have just read your amazing shark story to G & he was suitably gobsmacked.
Thanks Petal, I will do my best.Have a great trip Rob . Look forward to hearing all about it
Flying was interesting I flew Delta from Salt Lake to Tampa with a plane change in Detroit. Not the best routing, but there are far fewer flights now so good connections are hard to fine. I felt pretty safe, lots of distancing and precautions. I wore a mask the whole time, you are required to wear a mask on the plane, no exceptions, but not in the airport. The airports were quite empty so distancing was easy, but most all the shops and food outlets were closed. The biggest thing on the plane is they leave lots of seats empty, you do not sit next to anyone the seat next to you is empty. The planes are boarding from the back to the front, and there is little food or drink available, just a few snacks and bottled water. Hand sanitizer is everywhere. One of the pilots took the time to explain the air handling system and he claimed the cabin air is the safest indoor air anywhere. So like I said I was not uncomfortable. If more people start to fly it may change, perhaps for the worst.i hope your "trip report" will include some details of your flying experience, too. i'm going to have to eventually fly back to NJ with my aunt's ashes later this year.
Very likely both. Plus you didn´t have at much fuel in the tank as the others did if you only ate 1200 kcal the day before.Maybe I am just out of practice, or maybe I have lost some muscle with the weight, don't know.
