Today was a good day for me, I ate well and feel good. We are back at the peaches, picked about 3 bushel today, we have a new strategy these we will crush and ferment without juicing. Sort of like you do with grapes, but peaches have more flesh per gallon or liter than grapes so we will just have to see how it goes, we do have the peaches to experiment with. Our first try and peach wine was to ferment the juice after squeezing and we have 6 or 7 gallons fermenting now. It took longer to take off than I expected but right now things are boiling away. Hopefully we'll make something drinkable, my past wine making attempts have been met with mixed success. The best I ever got was a cherry wine, once I made a whole bunch of zinfandel, it turned out to be a mediocre cooking wine, nothing you'd want to drink. I have fun trying, but my wife gets frustrated if the end product isn't good.
My wife brought home a single serving of pulled pork from my favorite local bbq place yesterday. I wasn't sure what to do with it, so I divided it into 3 parts and that coupled with lots of veggies made 3 good meals, dinner yesterday and lunch and dinner today. No reason not to eat what you like, just so you don't eat too much.

Harald Fairhair, the first King of Norway some time around 933. A great deal is known about Harald from the sagas, problem is no one knows if its true, or if Harald even existed. Apparently fair hair in old Norse means beautiful hair, but not necessarily light or blond.
