Accountability!....RIGHT HERE!

I really want to sign up for a 5k but I have to train some because I want a good time. I think doing 10k would be great. Doing one a month sounds solid but yeah I shouldn't slowly ease into it.

Doooo it!!! :) Pick one far enough away where you have at least some time to train, and don't focus on time! Have you run any before? DEFINITELY don't focus on time if you haven't! Just do as best as you can and enjoy the t-shirt you get for doing it! I generally hate doing things without someone being with me, but I have done my 3 5Ks by myself and I absolutely love it.
 
Ohh man, I hope one day to do ANY kind of k, lol. My knees suck right now and running killllls me. Uggh. Keep up the great work- your food and workouts(even a 6 out of 10, lol!) are still amazing. Have a good one!
 
Hey just wanted to stop by and say good job so far! And as for doing some 10ks, its a great goal to train for. My running buddy and I are thinking about signing up for one next year. Keep up the great work!

p.s. Cactus juice? What does that taste like? and is it good for you? I've never heard of it before. Sounds interesting enought to try. :)

Sorry I didn't a nice long post yesterday! I was really busy yesterday and super tired.

So calorie-wise, I didn't meet my weekly goal, so it is pushed on to Week 4. As in my weigh-in, I'm too scared to weigh-in (again), because of all the calories I consumed in Week 3! Week 4 gotta be good...:)

I threw away the potato salad! Let's just say I had about a GALLON size tube of potato salad that was sitting in my fridge! Whew, no more of that stuff! I have some pork chops that are defrosted and need to be cooked, most likely in bulk. And then cut up some peppers for snacking on (green and yellow) and that should be it. I do have a small watermelon I want to chop up to eat! Also, I boiled like 8 eggs this morning so I can eat them on the go as well!

I gotta make things easy for me! Sheesh! Lol! I ate 680 calories today! I'm not hungry today.

Cactus juice in a vitamix cuts up all the spines and cactus is good to lower blood glucose and increases liver glycogen which basically makes it more efficient in burning fuel. Don't you WANT to use your organs for their functions? Cactus is great for diabetics and those with high triglycerides! I only drank it because my mom made it for me.

I will look into running races, but not tonight or tomorrow. I have a lot of reading to do for my classes! I biked to campus and although I was very nervous I did a GREAT job, my confidence grew!

I realize that I poo after Meal 1, always. I guess my body needs new foods before it lets go of the old stuff!

While I picked up 10 Smart Ones for $11.20, I'm wondering if high sodium content could be hindering my weight loss success....but really? I drink a LOT of water most of the time....Last night, I bagged 12 pb&j sandwiches and put them in the freezer so i can grab-and-go. Overall, not so bad since I'm prepping myself for "OMG I DONT HAVE ENOUGH TIME" instances.

I can't fail here...I really want a strong week of weight loss. You may wonder whether I am begging to see 10 pounds loss, no, but a successions of losses and not gains and slip ups...I don't have anything planned this weekend except a hang out with my girls, but we'll see!

After Meal 2, I took a short nap! Why oh why is my energy so low? Maybe cause I have to move some? hah, welllll, off to 5-hours of class i go! I ate 1285 calories today! I'm surprised how EMPTY my stomach felt after eating smart ones, it worries me!!! But a GOOD calorie day since this week 4, i want to eat less than 10,000 calories! come on baby!!

It'd be great to lose 20 pounds, but 15 pounds sounds good in 30 days.

I do feel thinner in these certain pair of shorts i have, it used to bother me to sit in these shorts because the waist is so tight, but not so much today. Hopefully by 170s I can wear them without any roll bulges!

179.8 will be a beautiful number...the good news is that instead of falling off the wagon completely, at this point, i'm more organized and willing to make changes! =)

I ate 1245 calories today! I did pretty damn well at Sizzlers, in my opinion. I went overboard with the guacamole, but ehh i think that's better than the breaded wings! I used the tuna salad as my "dressing" for my salads and i didn't feel like eating so much clam chowder and cheese toast cause i used my handy dandy droid to find calories (thank god for such electronic!)..I did want to taste the cheese toast, just for the heck of it, and damn is that thing salty and buttery! i think my lips are cracking as i'm thinking about it right now. I drank a LOT of water while eating because i was also studying...like 6 cups!

You know it. I was pretty mad that I was sitting at a hefty 187 this morning, but low and behold I will not let this hold me down! I will just keep chugging on.

Although last night, I was dreaming about chinese take-out, super burritos, and a slice from pizza my heart! I gotta be good!!! I'm home this weekend and will study alot so temptations will be near! It's tough being good at home because I usually see it as a way of being on vacation, but I can't!

I'm excited for my haircut on Sunday though and spending some time at the gym. I have to say, time at the gym isn't so bad when you know you're doing it to exercise your heart, not so fun when you just want to go to lose weight or see drastic results.

Now my love for food really needs to find a "better" relationship..

I want some pasta, so I'm going to make some white wine, olive oil, garlic, steak seasoning, cheese sauce with whole wheat spaghetti noodles with clams, scallops, shrimp, and mussels..toooo bad it didn't happen. laid in bed too long and got lazy so ended up eating ramen noodles, best part is that i didn't drink the soup which is mostly all salt. then i was craving bbq, and got a 3-way combo, but got super full after munching on it, i still have about 70% of the food left!

i'm going to clean the kitchen a bit, then walk the dogs for like 30 minutes, then study, then hit the gym! maybe not all in that order, but those are my priorities!!

CAN you believe I lasted 25 days??? My next goal is to last 25 more days!!

With the limited amount of exercise I do, I'm surprised that I'm not losing weight at average 1400 calories since I'm so heavy...like how could my body NOT want to let go of this weight? It's annoying, but I'm just waiting for that *sudden* drop, that one day, where I wake up 2 pounds lighter...come on!! I'm going down to LA next Friday, so let's drop a few more LBs..C'mon! I even burn a few more calories a few times a week when I go to the gym or ride my bike...what's wrong with my body?

I realize I need to exercise enough to feel an ache to lose weight...

I need to poo, but I'm feeling constipated. I hope my exercise tonight forces me to poo tomorrow! I won't weigh myself tomorrow, but will on Tuesday. Waiting for me to poooooo....i pooed something super small...gahh can't wait for something large and healthy!!

The korean stews aren't fattening at all, if anything the fat from a new york steak is all that makes it bad. I just ate alot of it! The fried pancakes are fattening, but I did OK today...The korean stew was super spicy so my metabolism SHOULD BE roaring. I ate 1250 calories today, which is below my 1300 calorie daily maximum!

I need to take some measurements and pictures...will do on Tuesday morning :) I plan on exercising EVERYDAY this week, gotta lose this weight!!



This week, i'm going to exercise stronger so i can lose some big pounds! get me out of this rut! eugh

Although I was pretty damn good during Week 4, I won't see it on the scale. BECAUSE I STARTED MY PERIOD! I SPOTTED THIS MORNING, AND NOW I GOT NOTHING. I'm pretty mad about that. The bigger picture is that I am making conscious, positive changes, so even though I don't see it on the scale. I see it in my wallet and in my skin texture.

I use calorieking.com, and I exercise at least 3 times a week. Are you serious? I'm eating at a HUGE calorie deficit, and calorie cycle sometimes (going from 1000/2000/1500/1200 etc), My metabolism IS guessing.

WTF is going on right now?

Minimum goal is 2lbs/week, I'm still in MONTH 1. That's my rationality, I am still in Month 1, I EXPECT good numbers.

A crap load of exercising today, huh? I don't think I'm on my period after all because nothing came out all day! I ate 3570 calories today! I must ate like 3 grams of salt today though...Eating two smart ones in one day isn't the smartest thing, but it was quick, and I didn't go grocery shopping this week because of budget constraints! I'll go on Monday.

I'm going to try to limit my weigh-ins to twice a week. I really need to lock my scale and just pull it out twice a week! Even though I log in a few times here, I check 2 times EVERYDAY. It's almost addicting. I need confidence that I am doing right, and do not need the constant reminder to do better....I hate that.

I have like 4 more Smart Ones left, and although sodium IS high, you can't beat the convenience. I got some tilapia fillets and two pounds of pork sirloin to cook. I gotta cook on Mondays, that's the other trick.

Woke up this morning feeling like TOTAL CRAP. My tummy is bloated, almost felt like I woke up with a slight headache. It's just awful. Also, I'm farting...Soo not fun!!

Week 5, It'd be nice to see a week less than 10,000 calories. I'd like to see 2 pound loss! Let's do it!! I ate 1780 calories today! I am sooooo happy I made that short trip to the gym because dinner was waiting for me when I came home, I'm so lucky!!! I'm eating the panna cotta right now, and it's so buttery delicious! I hope my metabolism sky rocketed! 1) I ate all day long 2) I exercised.

I did go #2 today, but it was the clumped C type.

A great thought just went through my head..

It took almost 30 days to lose 13.2 pounds, it won't take 1 day to gain it all back. So, get back on the wagon and keep going!!!!

I need to prevent these cycles, but in the meantime, don't feel so bad, and have a good day tomorrow!
