Accountability!....RIGHT HERE!

A great thought just went through my head..

It took almost 30 days to lose 13.2 pounds, it won't take 1 day to gain it all back. So, get back on the wagon and keep going!!!!

I need to prevent these cycles, but in the meantime, don't feel so bad, and have a good day tomorrow!

SOOO true! Its so easy to eat too much one day and say, ahhh, hell. Screw it! and then just pig out... but a lb of food calorie wise is a LOT of food, and it only takes one day of doing that to make ya realize how aweful it truly is. Glad the wagon is still rollin for ya. Don't let weeks of no losses letcha think that you aren't getting anywhere; those allllll come back to ya sooner or later :)
by the way, have you thought of counting how much fiber you eat a day?? I started doing it a while ago, and it helps IMMENSELY. You should be eating between 25 to 35ish grams of fiber a day, and should be pooing at least once to two times a day. Start adding the fiber, you'd be surprised at what ya get in. Have a super day :D
 
Dear Jess! I'm VERY glad you didn't fall off the wagon!! I was afraid you were going to just leave without no goodbye!

That great idea t at went in my headache last night after the binge felt so great, it was like forgiveness that came over me...I don't feel so negative about myself!

I need to monitor my fiber and sodium! I really need to Jess....I really do sigh* a lot to do!

OOOhhhh no. No falling off the wagon allowed! I'm not gonna lie- haven't been eating the greatest, and the gym is not my friend right now, but this chubby girl will be on that wagon the rest of her life. :rolleyes: yayyy. lol. With school, all the homework involved, AND work full time, its harder for me to get on here as much... but I'm still here to support whoever I might be able to support :)

I ate 1940 calories today! I definitely feel fuller than yesterday, but I drove up from LA to the bay area (6 hours) and I had to stay awake so I kept munching!

I just realized that I ate over 11,000 calories and I have three more days this week. CODDAMN. WTF am I going to do? The only thing I can do is eat less than 1,000 calories/day, and exercise for the next 3 days. I'll be gaining weight this week, so no weigh-in! That binge on the first day of this week was like 3 days worth of calories in it self! Gotta get my ass back in focus. The only real good thing about Week 4 and Week 5 is that I started exercising more...gotta keep going!

Week 5 is crap, Week 6 gotta be good! Day 40 is my weigh-in!

Early day eating frenzy resulted in two bowel movements, #1 sessions cause of the urine, and the guilt to go to the gym. I'm honestly pleasantly surprised I weighed in under 190 after all this eating the past two days. I got my act together! I ate 2160 calories today!

I just realized today is the last day for Week 5. Week 6, Days 36-Day42 bring it on! I'm ready to get "back on track" or I'd like to say, to continue my journey!!

Wow, Week 5 is a SMALL GLIMPSE of my life before, eating well over 2,000 calories of junk and salt. I would poo often, but that's only because of all the crap in my system!

I hope that Week 5 is the jump off point of some rapid weight loss for Week 6. I have high goals! It'd be nice to get below 185 this week! I ate 1630 calories today! On the high side, but I was EXTREMELY happy that I saw 185.6 at NIGHT =) I didn't drink more than 12 glasses of water, but I drank more than I usually have been in the past few days...so slowly going to drink up! I am soooooo happy it's friday tomorrow. Time to relax!! I hope I see 184.x tomorrow!!

I was HELLA surprised to see 183 this morning, so I'm going to do everything I can to keep it this way. TODAY is NOT the day to splurge on a cheat meal....NOT today.

My period really slowed down my weight loss, I need to stop weigh ins during my TOM, THAT'S FOR SURE. I ate 1200 calories today! I felt good today, all that fat and protein gave me a minor headache, makes me want to eat some carbs, so i'll probably eat a salad tomorrow. I bought some spinach, olives, feta cheese, to make a delicious greek salad! I'm really excited! I still have a few boiled eggs and some beef...but I would like some pasta!

I just realized my PERIOD killed 50% of my motivation. So, I have a good 20 days to lose as much as i can before my TOM stops me! I drank 10 cups of water today, and peed really yellow, so i'm sipping on two cups of tea right now. Too bad i don't feel thirsty/hungry, so i hope my body will TAKE DOWN this water!

Meal 2 is heavy in my tummy, it must be all the carbs. I can't go wrong eating 12grams of fiber from the pasta, and however much from the spinach and red bell pepper. I just gotta burn these calories at the gym tonight, so a gym session IS A MUST!


Woke up this morning, too lazy to get undressed to weigh myself. Plus, I kinda knew that I'd still be around 183, nothing really to celebrate at the moment.

I was constipated since last night, and since eating my salad this morning, I finally had the healthy urge. What came out? a constipated one. MAN I'm really not happy about that!! Makes me worried, then again, gotta UP the fiber. I'm going to start logging in my daily fiber intake, minimum is 30g for me since I deal with constipation.

I ate 2110 calories today! Not so bad, I don't feel hunger because of the pasta, so I'm happy about that. I weighed in at 184.4 after the gym, which is pretty cool, can't believe I jumped from high 180s to low 180s, it FEELS awesome. I'm going to drink two cups of tea before going to bed! It's only 8, but i'm tired...even with a nap...

BTW, i feel SO MUCH better eating more than 1200 calories, i don't feel so deprived...probably because i'm no longer going to eat so many frozen meals...but i feel better at 1400-1600 calories!

My body really hated the ribs (BMs were not fun), no more for me. lesson learned. I'm so happy it's not the olives that are making my stomach squirm! Goooood bye ribs!

last night, I went to bed at like 830, woke up at 11 and wanted ribs. before going to the kitchen, i weighed in at 185, when i weighed in at 185.4 that morning...so i could've lost weight, but i ate more than necessary ribs. they were definitely my splurge, not just calorie wise and meat wise. I realized eating so much fatty meat is NOT good for my health. gotta keep my head up high...and on the high road when good food is around.

next splurge sounds like a cupcake i'll get for free from raleys, actually 4, but i'll try to just eat one. i got a raincheck for them, so next wednesday i expect 'em in my tummy!

Can i be good until Wednesday? Let's see...I have PLENTY of groceries to last me until next week =) I need to cook in bulk though...

I decided to go low calories today since I won't be going to the gym. I think that's a fair trade...=) I ate 910 calories today! I really need to stop weighing myself so frequently...I also need to eat some fiber. Spinach might be nutritious but not so fiber-ous! hahaha...I should drink some benefiber if i need the extra boost, or i'll drink a cup a day.

After I peed, I had this sudden craving to eat sushi when I came back to my computer. Super weird, right? I gotta let go of this craving and look forward to tomorrow. I can't wait to eat some pasta and more feta cheese on my spinach salad! yay!

I want to see 181 on Wednesday morning...DON'T FALL OFF LAURA, MAKE YOUR GOAL!!

Those two scones were 3-bite sized each, and so tempting, I'm at 1330 calories today! Wow, I have class for two hours and then the gym, I'm happy I came home to eat Meal 2 before going to the class and the gym. I know this meals my body will have energy to workout!

The whole wheat spaghetti in my pasta easily increases my fiber intake. Weighing in this morning at the same weight 4 days ago was slightly disappointing, but I blame it on the ribs.

If I weigh in at 195 tonight or less, I know I'm going to lose weight. So I weighed myself before drinking two cups of tea, and I'm 183.8lb! I feel so good about that! Woot woot. So good that I'm definitely going to eat a damn cupcake on Wednesday- I hope they get the shipment by then! =)

I only did 25 minutes at the gym tonight cause I wanted to rush home to do my couponing before rite aid closed. Hehehehe, bought like $200 worth of stuff for $2 bucks. <3 coupons! Even though it was only 25 minutes, I did push myself really hard.

I'm in the process of trying to stretch out my left calf which is super sore, I HATE it when my body is unbalanced, my right calf is fine. -_-

sigh* it's 2:45am and i can't fall asleep. i drank 2 cups of black tea and realized that it has more caffeine than green tea! i feel so stupid! i need rest to lose weight!!!

Weight loss slowed down, I should've ate after the workout. I fell asleep hungry. Tonight? I'm definitely going to eat something, even if it's an apple. I shouldn't have drank black tea before going to bed last night, did you know black tea has TWICE the amount of caffeine as green tea? I fell asleep at 3am. -_-

The BM I had after Meal 1 today looked SO healthy. Rich in color, long, and solid. WOOHOO! The only problem was the pre-BM time period, I thought it was going to turn into a Consti moment, but when i looked, i was surprised!! I need to mentally relax my ass because this CAN'T be a problem when I grow older. =( I'm going to be one sad old granny!

Wow...I didn't lose any weight yesterday. This sucks! But you know what? I'm going to go to the gym tomorrow. I woke up too late to go for a run, so here I am.

The cool thing is that I do plan on going to the gym tomorrow...not today because I don't want to drive. I'm trying to refrain from using a lot of gas. I could go to the gym this afternoon, maybe 4pm-6pm by bike? We will see. That is all I can say.

I do want to cook my chicken breast today so I can have some "hearty" protein to eat. I need to crack open a can of black beans as well for some fiber. I won't be eating any pasta today.

I don't have work today, so I'm going to do a lot of schoolwork. I have to write two pages and read three books. One thing i learned this week is that I can lose weight and experience a mini-maintenance period of 3-5 days, which is what I'm calling it. So I can really only expect to lose 2 pounds MAXIMUM each week and then let my body get used to it.

I got called into work at 11:30am, 90 minutes of work for $60? yes ma'am i'll be there. Then I went to a consignment shop to sell some shoes, got $22 bucks in store credit, and an extension on my $20 store credit, success! I want some designer jeans but want more time to lose weight! I tried on a pair of sevens for mankind size 31 and they were snug but I got them up and buttoned! Now, I have until November 3rd to use $20 and November 29th to use $22.

After the shop, the weather has been brutal, like over 100 degrees, and I just wanted to go home, but I know if I want to see good numbers, I have to workout! Soooo I did! I felt so good afterwards, and SO much better when I weighed myself before the shower-- I was a whole pound lower! AND i ate that chicken breast this morning!!!!

I shouldn't have eaten those fried goodies because I ate the clams. Then I would've been a lot closer to my 9800 calorie limit this week, but I'm keeping my sanity with cheese. I ate 1475 calories today!

Week 6: REFLECTION
Damn, I was so close to being under 10,000 calories for a week. But I'm happy it was damn near close. Looking back, I realized that eating two servings of pasta, a day, has prevented my weight to drop dramatically. So you know what I'm thinking? I'm sensitive to carbs! I didn't feel bloated, but the scale certainly didn't move. I think the scale mover is PROTEIN.

I am so convinced that chicken breast saved my hopes today especially weighing in at 182.2lb. I will definitely incorporate more protein-heavy foods in my diet.

So ONE serving of pasta every other day. That also means that I need another source of easy fiber? That's where beans come in! Also, fruit.
