Happy belated birthday wishes. You share the same birthday as my sister ^-^ congrats on getting down to 169/67 you are closer than ever to your goal. lets hope the scale stays nice and doesn't decide to go all fluctuating on you.

:seeya: Hi all
Well, I managed to eat just the right amount at Earl's for lunch, but I must say dinner at the Cactus Club (which is rather ooh-la-la no-kids-allowed) was a tad over the top. But boy, was it good! The very best part of both meals was just chatting with my old pals! I felt spoiled, indeed.

I will be working much earlier in the days this week, which means I am getting up at 7 and then stumbling down to that *&#$ treadmill, sweating to Cold Case Files, as it is too early for CSI. A bit of a depressing way to start the day, but I just cannot get into talk shows enough to keep my mind occupied whilst on said 'mill. For some reason it is harder to work out at 7am than at 9 or 10 am, but I really like to get it done before work if I am working a full shift. Also, I don't like to do it after school, as I prefer to have that time with my littles!

So here's to me :hurray: for being so dedicated!

Cheers

:waving:Hi Elizabeth! Glad you like the site and are familiar with it. I don't really do any of the challenges, but I see at the top of this page there is an ad for 'BODY TRANSFORMATION CONTEST...SIGN UP NOW'. Check it out!

:waving:Hi URBN! Thanks so much for stopping by! We can cheer each other on to our goals! You sure do have luck on your side being so tall; I am only 5'4"! Did you check out my pics? They are on page 18 of this journal and also on the Before, After, In between part of the site.

Well, I am home after a full day's work. I got up early AGAIN to get in my full hour sweatin' on the 'mill. Yay me! :hurray: So many folks comment on my WL at work, it really helps to spur me on! A few gals have started their own WL programmes since seeing my success! It is great to know the influence we have on others.

All for now, have a great night!

Cheers

i did, i did. and i was quite impressed! you look great. i will agree with you that being taller is helpful, though it serves more to help me camouflage my weight and proportion everything nicely. i'd rather be shorter, when you lose weight at a smaller height, it's much much more noticeable, as in your case.

OMG! You lost 23 lbs. in 2 months, wow congrats! I need to loose 25-30 lbs. and I'm haveing a hard time, but when I read stories like this it makes me very motivated :)

YAY FOR TREADMILLS !!
I'm hoping that my eating right and exercising will movitave my boyfriend to start being more healthy - he brought home two double cheesburgers today !!
I can't believe how long you can stay on the 'mill - you're awesome !
I'm just starting and twenty minutes is about all I can handle !

BUTTERFLY:
Thanks for stopping by! Glad I can be an encouragement to you. I'm not sure that I ever lost 23 lbs in two months...did I really do that? Tomorrow I go for my weekly weigh-in and hope to have dropped to 167, a total loss of 44 lbs.

ELIZABETH
Yay for the 'mill! Just keep at 'er and you will build up your stamina. I cannot stress to you the importance of SOMETHING GOOD ON TV while you are trying to stay on the treadmill for any length of time! LOL

As I said, tomorrow is weigh-in day at WW. I really hope I am down to 167. I have been faithful with the 'mill all week, so I deserve a nice loss, don't you think?

Had a GREAT session working out today, I was a maniac! I am surely addicted now to my treadmill...

Cheers

:biggrinjester:Hi, all! HAPPY FRIDAY! Just getting ready to scoot out the door for an evening shift at the hospital.

Weigh in today showed me at 168.2, but my own scale shows me at 167, so guess what? From now on, it will be MY SCALE that counts! I feel so great at how I am progressing with my weight loss and moving towards my goal! NOTHING CAN STOP ME NOW!

I did my hour on the 'mill this morning, so I can relax knowing I have it done already. I am enjoying History Channel lately while working out; it is more uplifting than so many crime shows! :svengo:

Have a wonderful weekend,
Janice

Hi Janice

I think that you are right to stick to your own scale. A 1.2 pound discrepancy is actually quite reasonable - our bodies all vary as the day progresses. I honestly think that the difference is that we can choose more of an optimum time to weigh at home. I actually had a 1.4 pound discrepancy between my weight before my walk and aerobics class and my weight after it today. Surprise, surprise! I went for the lower value which was my weight after the walk / exercise.

I am pleased that you have found some more good tv to watch while on the mill.

Take care
Love
Margaret

HAPPY SATURDAY!

I just love a day off! After a yummy breakfast & my morning Joe, I got on the 'mill for my hour. It seemed harder today to do it for the whole time, but I think it is also just because I am really pushing myself. It is tiring! :nopity: But it feels great when I am done, and the results spur me on.

Doing some minor housecleaning, trying to come up with more personal goals & strategies for reaching them, and also spending time with the littles. I think we'll head out for some family fun tonight.

All for now, hope you are having a successful weekend!:Angel_anim:

HAPPY SUNDAY!

I just love Sunday. Being home with the fam is great, and it is always good to go out to worship together, too. Today happens to be bright and sunny here in the Okanagan Valley (BC, Canada) and feels refreshingly spring-like after so many months of dull grey weather! I know we will have another few snow falls before spring really hits, but our winters in the West are blessedly short.

I just finished my date with you-know-who for an hour, and now am going to go jump in my mom's hot tub! Nice, eh? LOL I guess that one little word is the real clue to my :eh: nationality!

Have a great day!:auto:

So....tired...:svengo:

Yes I worked a full shift. Yes I came home and got straight on the 'mill. Yes I am now ready to fall asleep.

G'night.

:driving: Feeling relatively good, even though YOU KNOW WHO is paying her unwelcome visit again. :banghead: However, I suppose that means all my plumbing is in order, at least to some degree, so it's not all bad.

I have not missed a workout day in I don't know how long, and I don't intend to! I worked out for 1.5 hours today, then soaked in my luverly rose scented bubble bath whilst reading my awesome book. Pretty spoiled, I know it! :Angel_anim:

Now I must pack my snack and head off for a short shift at work. Oh, to be independently wealthy...

Cheers all
