A year on; FROM: 21 stones, 294lbs, 134kgs. TO: 10 stones 13lbs, 141lbs, 69.4kgs

Wow, well done for halving yourself! :coolgleamA:

10st is really slim for a guy (I weigh that and I'm female and shorter than you :(), have you thought about building muscle, purely to help with the loose skin issue? It obviously won't completely solve the problem, but would make it less obvious in the mean time.

But you look great, and well done for having so much discipline.

nice Baywatch shirt there :p

Thanks mate. Don't hassle the Hoff.

I'd love the soup recipes if you get a chance to pop them down on the forum sometime :)

Of course. Really simple actually.

Butternut squash: Fry an onion and some garlic in olive oil. Add a whole butter nut squash (peeled and sectioned) then add as much vegetable stock (in ml) as the butternut squash weighs in grams. So if it weights 1.5kgs, do 1.5 litres of stock.

Mushroom soup: Again, fry and onion in some olive oil. Add the mushrooms and as much chicken stock in ml as the mushrooms weighs in grams (or a little less if you want it thicker etc). Add some thyme and pepper.

French onion soup. Similar to the others but more onions and a beef stock.

If you want more detail. Just ask.

Wow you look incredible! You must be so proud, and rightly so.

I read the whole post and bookmarked it for future inspiration on tough days :) thank you for sharing it.

Thank you!

at first Happy new year :D.

Its amazing... I read youre whole diary and this post. Great respect. It's very inspirable.

After reading youre story i started to change my lifestyle too.

I hope i can achieve the same one day.

I was wondering how long you walked evryday ( 3 x 1 hour ? )

And can you please post some recipes especially the soups ?

It's a bit late, but happy new year to you too. I walked the same distance everyday and to begin with it was 3 x 1 hour everyday. But as I got fitter I was able to walk the same distance in 40-45 minutes.

Oh wow you back story is pretty much my life up to the sixth form (for that is where I'm at currently)

So much inspiration for me! Truly inspirational. Aha hope I do as well as you've done

Keep at it and you can. If you give up or quit it aint gonna happen.

Oh yeah, minor update. Christmas came along and a bit of the weight came back. But I'm working at it.

I was also on local radio talking about my weight loss which you can listen to here:
