A new start for MommyOf2!!

OH! How could I forget?? I am cautiously optimistic. The scale says I'm down to 160. I hope it's true! That's after 2 days of WW. Just think what could happen if that pace continues? I can't believe I'm one lb. away from the 150's. Yay!! I am not changing my signature, but I'm happy!
 
Wow your doing great!! I dont see how you can eat that Kashi.. I bought some a few weeks ago and it was so hard and crunchy, I usually like my cereal soggy.. lol. Maybe I just need to get a different kind.. who knows!! Your doing awesome on your activity points!! I'm so jealous! lol

D: Chicken soup 4, wheat toast 1, diet root beer
Sn: Cheerios 3 pts.
So ... I guess that means I'm under! Yippee! I'm hungry - but I'm actually under. That pound is motivating me.

Hi all!
I swear - 2 steps forward, 3 steps back! I woke up yesterday w/ the worst abdominal pain. I spent the day in the bathroom w/ a raging fever. It was torture! I feel somewhat better today, but my stomach just hurts like crazy. I did not count my points, but considering that all I ate all day was soda crackers, dry toast, gingerale, and chicken soup, I think I was way below as I am today.

Sorry I did not make it around to everyone's diary. I was down for the count. I hope to be well for tomorrow. My gym starts a new 27 week kickboxing series that I REALLY want in on. Here's hoping!
 
I'm telling you, I think this sickness thing passes through our internet connections with the help of the forum! Lol! :rolleyes: :p Hope you get to feeling better soon! I haven't been counting my points either while sick, so don't feel bad. We can get back on the WW wagon when we are feeling better. :D

Christina - I've had it twice now, too, and a nice day of food poisoning once. I've puked enough for a lifetime!! My husband seems to catch all the colds our girls bring home and I catch the tummy viruses.
HH - Oh I hope these germs don't pass through our wonderful forum! I wouldn't wish this tummy pain on anyone.

Anyhow, I AM feeling better! I woke up today a new woman -lol! I was going to be super mom/wife and do everything today so my husband could rest, but after dealing w/ every *^%# dish since Thursday, I wasn't feeling so charitable and decided to go on our annual garden tour. LOL! (I let him go to a movie when I got home!)

No exercise today, other than playing hopscotch on our front sidewalk w/ the daughters.

Food:
B: 1 egg 2 pts, 1 corn tortilla 1 pt, coffee, milk, creamer 2pts. (5 pts)
L: Roast beef sandwich 4 pts.; baked Lay's ???; sugar free limeade .5 (9 pts ??)
D: 2 ground beef tacos; diet root beer 10 pts??

I'm guessing 24. Sooo... I went over. How could I be this hungry and be 2 points over. Grrr! Of course, I'm guessing on the tacos and the Lays. Still ... I'm frustrated. Oh well! Tomorrow's a new day.

Food today:
 
Hi all! Drum roll, please???? I am down to 158!! Another 2 lbs. Granted, it was the illness. But I was so happy to see that not only am I in the 150's, but I'm 2 away from the 160's. Oh that is so motivating.

Anyhow, I had to leave work today. Daughter sick at preschool. The illness couldn't have just stopped with my two year old and me, could it??

Exercise - to be determined. I may get a tape in.
Food -

I would anticipate that I'll have a power bar for a snack this afternoon and dinner will be... um ... I guess I should figure out what I'm going to feed my family, huh?? In any case, if I eat a 3 pt. power bar, then I'll have 6 pts. for dinner. Not a lot. Where do the points go?
 
Hey MO2! Sorry to hear you are experiencing another round of sickness at the house. No one is puking this time are they?

Way to go! You are in the 150s!! Whoo hoo! That's always a bonus when you get to lose weight when you are sick. I bet you are looking good! Keep going!

Hi , just thought I would introduce myself :) I am new here and was reading your journal. Looks like you are doing a awesome job! Welcome to the 150's !!! I remember when I broke the 160s and it was such a huge hurdle for me.

Ms. JB and HH - yep! I'm so excited!! I sure wish I were in a challenge right now - I've never ever lost 3 lbs. in one week!! I'd be a hero- lol!

Food for the rest of the day:

I had 9 to go,
Sn: protein bar - 3 pts.
D: Chicken salad (chicken 2 pts., almonds 1 pt., dressing 2 pts., lettuce 0, green onion 0) 5 pts.; wheat toast (no butter) 1 pt.; diet root beer. 6 pts. total.

So I did it! However, I'm not feeling really full and may have to use two flex pts. on a bowl of cheerios before beddy - bye.
