A new start for MommyOf2!!

Hey hun! Just wanted to check in on ya! I started me a new journal tonight so i'm getting ready for Sunday!! I can't wait.. I'm sorry I haven't been around posting as often as I would have liked.. but I'm back now! Talk to you soon!

Sorry if this is TMI on our dog, but she is walking again, eating again, and she finally pooped!! We're so happy - for the first time I am starting to think that she'll make it.

OK - totally off topic, BUT my husband actually said he considered bringing home a puppy. WTF?????????? I was appalled.

Anyhow, thanks for the concern for my pup. I haven't been around much b/c every hour or so I have to massage her legs, give her water and a hard boiled egg and try to get her to walk a bit. That hour comes up sooooo fast!!

Here's the food story ...

yesterday - an hour of kickboxing (Am dead today!)
Kashi w/ coffee
L: beef, pork, cabbage and rice
Sn: apple
D: Tri tip w/ basmati rice
Sn. Fish taco (one) We had to take our daughter to dinner because her ballet recital which she'd been preparing for for wks and talked abt. all day was unexpectedly cancelled. Ugh! She was sobbing - we decided to pull her out of it by offering dinner out. Thankfully, it worked, but I ate a fish taco and took a few sips of my husband's coke. I'm certain I burned it off w/ the dog and the kids and everything.
 
i am so glad your lacey is doing better and keep up the good work cause we want the competition cause we rock and we are gonna win!!!!!! hehehehe
 
Glad to hear that your doggie is getting better. Now maybe you will get over everyone being sick finally. No one else in your family can get sick. We are not going to allow it! :rolleyes:

Oh hey, glad to hear Lacy is seeming to improve a little!! :) You are so dedicated and so good to her. Wonderful hear! :D As for the puppy.. uhm, remind him you might need to get through Lacy's sickness first before ya start adding on to the pet family!! lol! :)

You're doing great and I wouldn't fret over that fish taco at all!! Keep up the good work team-mate!!! :D
 
Glad to hear Lacey is improving, MO2 :D um, puppies are cute, but jeeze, lets get Lacey up an' runnin' around :rolleyes: Hope your day went well (even if you are busier than ever). Keep up the great work :D
 
Hi MO@2! I'm glad Lacey pooped! That's a good sign for sure. I bet that is quite a chore to attend to her every hour. Is anyone helping you? Wow, I think you can officially change your screename to MO3. hehe

Hi all! Thanks for stopping by!

Nothing to report. The pup seems to be making progress. I have a dog-sitter there today since I'm out all day. Poor pooch. It's raining!!

For my food:

Thursday:
B: Kashi and coffee
L: Tri tip and basmati rice
Sn: Smoothie w/ fat burner boost
D: 1/2 chicken pizza (70 cal); unsweetened iced tea

Fri:
B: Kashi and coffee
L: Boiled white meat chicken w/ broccoli and 1/2 cup white rice; unsw. iced tea
Sn: Apple
Dinner: Remaining tri tip and basmati rice; green salad; unsw. iced tea or diet root beer. Haven't decided yet!

No exercise either day, although attending to the needs of the dog and the children is a work-out in itself.

I don't see how you are not starving most of the time. It just seems like you eat so little. Do you think those smoothies work? Well, have a good weekend! :D
 

I wish your puppy the absolute best of luck - I hope she recovers quickly and feels better soon! You're such a caring mommy! I've got a pup with bad arthritis so I know how hard it is to watch them... But they're little rays of sunshine!
