Good food record...you have such good discipline! Hope your litte pup feels better soon! Its awful when your pets are sick.
 
Hi all!
Lacey is still sick (the dog). Hubby's taking her to the vet tomorrow first thing and leaving her for the day. Poor baby! I'll visit her at lunch.
We have had a really nice weekend! I didn't necessarily eat great or exercise, but we had a nice weekend!!! LOL!
Back on track tomorrow AND I did avoid a LOT of temptations this weekend.
Not even worth listing what I ate. I'll resume tomorrow.
I hope everyone else had a nice weekend.

4 chips is NOT bad - me, I ate 4 chips I would contiue with the rest of the bag (half of it at least)! LOL Hope you have a wonderful day and keep up that great work :D
 
Hey MO2! Hope you are back on track again today. Although your weekend doesn't sound too bad. You needed some off time to spend with your wonderful family. :)

MissJ, Kashi is a kind of cereal that has a lot of whole grains and protein and stuff. You should try it.

Hi all!
Lacey is really sick. The doc opened her up and found that her liver was diseased. He asked if we had a rodent problem. Which we do! Caused by lots of fruit treas. There is this rare disease caused when a dog eats a rat or rat poop or something a rat has peed on. Usually found in rural areas. The vet thinks that this is what she has. We're sad. She's at the vet's over night. I miss her so much! The vet is trying to rid her body of the disease through lots of antibiotics. Once the disease is gone, he will see whether the liver is too damaged for her to live comfortably at which point we will decide whether we should put her down or whether she can live a normal life. It's so sad. She is such a great dog. She was just calming down from her puppy days. We are so hoping that she can be saved. But we won't keep her alive for our selfish interest. We don't want her in any pain. We trust our vet and really hope that he can help her through this. He was going to check on her throughout the night supposedly. (Aren't I cynical?) I just can't agonize over this. That's the update. It's just so unnecessary. Stupid rats!!! We thought we'd gotten rid of them. They'd obviously just learned to hide themselves better. And out neighbor's newly planted fruit trees are just starting to produce. I'm sure that won't help our situation.

Anyhow, thanks for letting me vent!

D: Tri tip, basmati rice, and broccoli, diet root beer, 3 M & M's

No exercise, but plenty of water.
 
Sorry to hear about Lacey, MO2 :( I wouldn't apologize for being cynical either. You have no reason to. Me had a rodent problem a while back but thankfully nothing like that happened. Hubby trapped 'em in a have-a-heart trap and then drowned them, while in the trap, in a 5 gallon bucket of water. It was the only way to make sure they didn't run off the the trap and make sure nobody got hurt who wasn't supposed to be.

Will say a quick prayer for Lacey for ya. have a good day (well, try) and keep up the great work.
 
I Am So Sorry About Lacey! I Know Our Pets Are Like Children To Most Of Us! If Its Any Consultation I Worked In A Vet And I Am Sure Lacey Is Checked On Because I Know For A Fact There Are Emergencies All Through The Night At The Clinic And There Is Always Someone In Charge Of Going To The Clinic To Check Through The Night! Your Looking Good Girl Keep Up The Good Work!
 
Morning girl. So sorry to her about Lacey. I'll keep her in my prayers and hope that she can have a successful recovery. :( Those darn fruit trees! Wishing the best for you and the family! I know I'd be devastated if anything happened to either of my boys.

Hi all!
I had a major set-back yesterday. I raided my daughters' valentine candy. I was sad and embarrassed. The pressure just got to me! I spent 2 hours in the a.m. at the girls' check-up (2 and 4 year). Then I went and got our dog from the hospital - which took 2 hours. They kept me waiting and waiting. Finally I just let my kids run wild to try to 'motivate' them to get me out of there! Naughty- I know!
So far our pup, Lacey, is doing ok. She hasn't eaten in almost a week, hasn't pooped either. She can't get up on her back legs and won't even let us help her do so anymore. We're hoping for the best.
 
Hi all! Here is my food for yesterday:

B: Kashi and coffee
L: Rotisserie chicken; one corn tortilla.
Sn: Clementine
Bad food: 3 Whoppers (choc not burger), sm. bag M n M's, Kiss
D: Lamb, brussel sprouts, 1/2 small potato; 1 gs cookie
 
Food for today ...

B: Kashi w/ whole milk (bad but we were out of skim); coffee
L: Hawaiian BBQ (beef and pork), 1/2 cup white rice; apple

That's it so far. For dinner I'm likely to have tri tip, basmati rice, and salad.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that does that when it is taking forever! Lol!
 
Omg Im so glad you filled me in on the whoppers being candy not the ones from burger king...i was like omg she must really be stressing...three of those in one day! Anyways..glad to see you got your baby home...hope lacey gets better. Your food looks good...keep it up...:)
