A new stage of the journey

Well things were interesting at the gym

it to 2 big blokes to drag the suit onto me, we couldnt quite get the fit right around the shoulders but it was on well enough to make a few bench attempts

I could not pull the bar down far enough to touch my chest but lifting the weight it felt like i was not lifing anything. this was my my previous PB (75 kg) and it felt like nothing

I am planning another attempt on monday with my coach there, I will have inflated footballs in the arms to try and stretch them out a little and try to get a better fit in the shoulders.

Needless to say i now have rings of bruises from my elbows up to my shoulders, across the back of my shoulders and under my arm pits.

With a bit of practice, more talcum powder and a couple of beefy men to pull the shirt on it should work out good and i should be able to hit 90 - 100 kg

wow wow wow, that is sooo much weight!

Hey I saw an article on this little boy a while back and wondered if you had seen/heard of it. I am a big science geek so its pretty interesting to me from that perspective.

Hey Trusylver :)

You make me jealous with all your crazy work on the stairmaster. You are seriously my inspiration on there :p I will work up to the max level some day!!! It's funny b/c I used to hate that machine with a passion and now I look forward to it and it's probably my favorite thing to do in the gym. Your craziness has rubbed off on me! j/k! :)

I am now very interested in this lifting suit of yours. What is it made of?! I can't believe it would leave bruises. I don't know much about lifting so excuse my stupid questions. :x Why do you need a lifting suit?

I hope you have a good weekend!

<3 Jes

Thanks for dropping in JZ :)

mom2 i have seen that there are some strange genetic mutations around.

i think i have posted this link before

my shirt is made from polyester, yes it is normal for a bench shirt to leave bruising. the shirts help you lift more and helps prevent injury

Holllyyyy shit youre doing great!

I usually have no clue what youre talking about exercise wise but all of it sounds heavy and painful. Great work, keep it up! :D

ok i am feeling a bit twisted this morning so here are a couple of pics of yesterdays bruising :) taken with my webcam so they are not real clear and it was abit hard to get shot from behind lol

I WILL BE HAPPY WHEN I CAN LIFT OVER 5 KG LOL :cheers2:
Thank you for your continuing support hun.

the bruising from yesterday + the bruising from saturday have made my triceps and armpits and the sides of my pecs look like i have taken one hell of a beating but they look impressive :) now the bench shirt is beginning to pay off today i will be trying to get the squat suit sorted out. with hard training and the suit i want to gain about 40 kg to my lift.

sign up information arrived in the mail for this years football (soccer) season yesterday, my youngest will be playing as usual and my eldest has opted to be a paid referee again this year but for me, instead of coaching i am going to voluteer to help out in the first aid office so i can get my first aid certificate i need for my course and give me a little practice :)

my weight went down a little for this challenge week but not as much as i would have liked. I know my diet is ok and i hit the gym hard so it will be all ok in the long run.

so will the bruising get better once you get 'used' to it or will you always have to endure that? Can I ask how you got started being interested in this, its so cool?

I bruise so easily if I did what you are doing I would be bleeding bruised mess LOL
