Looks like its going great for you, Trus! I like how you do a combination of things.....btw, 20 minutes on the stairmaster would kill me! So GOOOOOOOD job!!!!!!!

It's been a while since my last visit here. Your lifting is amazing like always. I aspire to one day be able to lift like that. Your love for the stairmaster has definitely rubbed off on me. It's my favorite thing to do in the gym. BUT you are just insane. Max level AND A WEIGHTED VEST?!?! You are insane!!!!! I love it! lol I will definitely have to do that some day as a challenge.

Your leg press is insane. 1256 lb?!?! Holy crap. Here I struggle with 100lbs. Go you!!!!!

thanks everybody for the support, today is a light day at the gym but I am considering getting somebody (possibly my eldest son) to video my leg press so it can be posted now that the weight is getting up to the stage of being very rare for a female.

I am hopeing the increases will translate to increases in my squat somewhat when my belt finally arrives.

My back and abs still need a lot of work to maximise the gain in leg press over to the squat at a resonable ratio but i am working on it.

with my bodyweight dropping things are looking good. I will report my workout a bit later.
 
thanks for visiting my diary, I really appreciate the support (and need it!). Wow, I cant believe how strong you are! That is so awesome. and martial arts to boot, I love love love all martial arts. I did it for a very short period of time in college and plan to encourage my daughter to do it, maybe some day I can join her (if my knees hold out). I did shallon-sp? something kung fu?

anyway your workouts sound awesome, keep up the good work!

30 minutes weights (abs and Rotator Cuff)
60 minutes Fit Mix Class

I want to get in some Wii and some heavy bag work after taking the kids to matial arts

Feeling rather bloated this morning, i was under calories yesterday but my mix of nutrients was wrong, to much suger and realy not enough protein. it is my light day at the gym today but i have a little bit of DOMs from yesterdays PB on the Leg Press. If my new lifting gear doesn't arrive today i will need to contact the company and find out what's happening.

Todays Workout

10 minutes stairmaster max level + vest
30 minutes weights (abs, rotator cuff)
60 minutes Kickboxing class

not logged as exercise

3 hours staining my verandah deck (one hell of a workout for the arms)
 
I still have a little DOMS this morning but i hope things will loosen up a bit when i get to the gym, still feeling bloated and i need to make sure i get my nutrient mix right today ! started ok with a protein shake for breakfast (Double Rich Chocolate) YUM, it is one of the only protein shakes i have found so far to have a good taste. I even have to stop my kids from drinking too much of it.

Class starts back next thursday and i have a heap of work i need to catch up on during the week and i need to buff up on my muscle and bone names because i am sure Julie will throw in a snap quiz to see how much we have all forgotten :svengo:
 
Tru-WOW WOW WOW that is soooo much weight you put all the guys at my gym to SHAME LOL (I imagine yours as well). Thanks so much for getting me nominated to join. I think it gave me the extra boost I needed this morning!

DOMS is Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness

I didn't push it to hard at the gym today

20 minutes cardio climber with vest
30 minutes Upper body

My new lifting gear arrived today (after my workout) YAY YAY YAY.....

WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!

I will be attempting to fit into my gear tomorrow :) which could be interesting and will certanly leave my bruised and sore on sunday but it will be soooooo worth it :)
 
you're so amazing! i feel like such a slacker when i read about how much you work! i need to step up my gameee to keep up with you! :)
 
hey Lux your doing goos yourself :)

when I ordered my new lifting belt I ordered one size to small, but when i assembled the buckle and got it all set up right yesterda i have a few holes to spare :)

Today My time at the gym will be a little different to normal, I will be putting on my bench shirt for the first time with the assistance of a friend/staff member/ my coaches son with the goal of benching in it for the first time. i will be bruised and sore afterwards, if i am not it is to big lol.

shirts are not designed to be put on without help.
 
This is all GREAT news--and YES you fit into it the belt with holes to spare!! :) You're definitely inspiring me to bench press again. Congrats and happy training!
 
Wow! You are strong! I remember my college football days when I used to eat weights for breakfast and was very strong. I plan on phasing in some weight lifting this spring.
Great job on the lifting...I bet you son says "yes mam" to you!
