I am instructed to do pistol squats each day while the gym is closed + some light weights on my home gym which doesn't get much use normally. no rest for the wicked :reddevil: over chrismas especially since the exact comp dates have now been published and the state titles are a whole month earlier than i expected :ack2:

the powerlifting state titles are at the end of march next year, by which stage i want to be lifting enough to qualify for the Australian National Titles.

so for me it is work work work at the gym. + my study to become a personal trainer.

I would just like to sa merry christmas to all as my chrismas day is almost over as i look forward to sitting down and watching the first day of the boxing day test interspersed with updates on the Sydney to Hobart (I do miss living where i could watch the big boats sail past mid race sitting in the summer sun with a beer in one hand)

The kids have enjoyed christmas day with minimum of fights except when racing their scalextrics cars.

I now have a new camera so i can finally post some half decent pics. A new Ipod :hurray: for workout music and a Wii Fit for a bit of fun. from my eldest son I recieved a nice bottle of mead so i am nicely relaxed at the moment.

Christmas lunch was salad and a BBQ

Todays Exercise

1 Hour Wii Fit

yep, i like my mead, and realy should look at digging out my equipment for brewing my own. as for sailing boats this is the largest one I have spent time on

thanks misty, your best wishes have put a smile on my face :)

though you may want to have a look at an Australian slang dictionary for "rooting" but i know what ya mean :biggrinjester:

I have also just uploaded one of my photo's of my kids to my photo album in my profile.

Wow! That ship is so cool! I'd love to do some sailing on that. I've only done sloops myself, but my wife did the Cutty Sark race on a ship like that. I'm so envious. :D

I've been brewing mead for about 15 years. I've made some really good stuff, but nothing lately. I've gotten into melomels lately and have had problems with it being too dry for my taste. Still good, but not satisfied.

LOL Trusylver!

I looked up "root"- definitely will not be having sex to help you win- unless you would like me to chat up one of the people judging the state finals. Though I can't promise you that my "chatting up" skills will work magic-they are a bit rusty.

So, you're best off just working hard and having me encourage and support you from the side lines. lol. Thanks for the laugh!

it has been a quiet day today, no exercise to speak of but eating wasn't bad.

DH and i picked up a few bargains in the sales today.

I spent the afternoon casting rocks and pieces of buildings with plaster ready to build some more model scenery. hopefully i can tackle the foam portions with the foam cutter tomorrow. I want to finish this model by the end of the week so it can be use hopefully for my next warhammer game.

If I thought it would help, both me and the wife would be rooting away for you. :hurray:

I love sailing! I was never particularly good at it (my brother would always handle the "technical" stuff)!

I hope you had a great holidays with your family!

you asked for it

got into the gym at 5:30 am this morning, had a good workout and had my son snap a couple of photo's, they don't look real flatering :ack2: and i didn't realise how red i look when i am lifting lol. but they have now been posted in all their horrid detail in a photo album in my profile.

Still annoyed i can't do any heavy training without a belt.
