Damn, Sylver. Way to go on the PB on the BP. The cardio climber sounds like fun. Fun meaning another challenge to overcome.

What are snow angles?
 
Snow Angels

Lie on your back (Can be done on a bench or on the floor I prefer the floor)

Using dumbells keeping your arms straight with a slight bend in the elbows next to your sides lift the weights up from the ground an inch or so
move your arms in an arc from your side to just behind your head
(imagine making a snow angel), until the dumbbells touch. keeping the weights only a short distance from the floor.
Return the dumbbells to your side using the reverse motion.

Start with light weights it is not as easy as it sounds

I have not found a good video or animation online yet
 
Cool on the angels thing. Do you do the legs at the same time to work the abs? Then you really are doing snow angels.

Trops- I had not thought to include the legs but that is a good idea and may have worked my abbs better than the situps. Lying on a stability ball would also add more dificulty if not adding the legs, but working the core stability.

When I get a chance I might try to get someone to video me doing some.

today shoulders are slightly sore, Leg day today depending on what cardio classes are running.

It is hot today and I have been sweating like a pig, I hate summer, I hope we get a good rainstorm tonight.
 
it has bee a little while since i last posted, training has been ok despote a few hot days, diet has been a little off as TOM is visiting.

In the next couple of week i will be looking at ordering some new lifting gear (Bench shirt, Squat suit, deadlift suit) so that after a little practice i will be able to compete on a level playing field at the state titles next year, up to this point my lifts have been RAW competing against lifters in gear.

the next state titles will be next april some time so it is time to kick my training into gear from off season workouts to a peaking cycle for april so I can qualify for nationals a few months after. I need to add 50 kg across my three lifts to qualify. (or 5 kg to bench press for the bench only comp)

my weight is still a problem and hope to be able to get to see a registered dietitian within the next month.

Incline DB press

3 X 8 @ 22.5 kg

Cable flys

3 X 8 @ 17.5 kg

I have a weakness in my right anterior delt which is holding back my bench press, I need to have a good talk to my coach this week to plan out the next few months.
 
As always, amazing stuff happens in here... Your capacity for exercise seems almost limitless sometimes.

In the first paragraph I thought you said a few hot dogs,...geeesh im thinkin that doesnt sound like her, LOL!

Im also gonna look into a dietition or naturopathic or something...with the way i eat and how ive been exercising in boot cmap I should be loosing i think...anyway with hte new year approaching im hoping they will be offering deals and such.

Muay Thai, is kickboxing but includes elbows and knees to strike with, it is one hell of a workout, today we done various kicks. but before that we were doing tricep pushups with our feet up on chairs to make them harder. got my HR up to 170 almost to the stage of needing to puke lol, I was rather anoyed i had to leave early.

Gosh, I assume too much. Was just going through your diary a bit to figure out what you're about, and automatically thought "oh, it's a guy" after glancing across one weight workout... it's JUST A STEREOTYPE Anke!!!

Always impressive workouts Tru! All I can say is DDDDAAAMMMNNNN! Very well done! Muay Tai eye? Do you like it? I'm trying to settle in to a decision between that, MMA, and straight up "old school" boxing! Workout wise, and probably "kick your ass if you mess with me" wise, it probably is top notch! :) Have good ones.
