Would you mind sharing the recipe. Cheesecake is my daughters absolute favourite cake and I would love to have a healthier alternative.
ETA - I've just found this recipe for a yogurt cheese cake. Is this similar to what you make?
Hi Val, I bake the yogurt. I am posting the recipe below. I use everything but the chocolate wafer crumbs and cream cheese. I use no cream cheese whatsoever, instead I hang yogurt overnight in muslin cloth (until ALL the water is gone) and then bake with that the next morning. It takes a LONG time to bake, so have to be patient. Here's the link:
I need to try a healthier version of cheese cake I love cheese cake wich I could live off of it!!!
When I am working I am not that great at working out, but I think anytime you can include movement it helps as long as you keep the food healthy!!!
You are so busy lately I think once you have everything settled and your move is done you will be able to have more time! At least all of your good habits are there so ou are not starting from scratch!!!!
I hope I can get back to running when I get back home in the States.
Try the yogurt cheesecake - posted recipe above with modifications. I looooove cheesecake too.
Thanks Flumie.
Wow 62 kg is awesome Juni! So jealous! I'm going to use it to motivate me this weekend!! Have a good one!
Yay!! We can do this, Lisa.
Well done. 62/63 is my dream weight.
And mine is 57/55 (thats how much I used to weigh a few years back, and will be really happy with it). You are doing so well with exercise and food, Val. You'll get to 62kgs in no time.
W000000H00000!!! Well done Juni!!!! 62kg ROCKS!
Thanks Jjjay.

So I couldn''t do much journaling last night. After a killer day of work (non stop, no time to rest), I was just sooooooo glad the week had ended. With the kids, work wrapping up, BF problems, I was ready for the horrible week from hell to be over. Then a friend of mine was throwing a party. I went there thinking I would only stay there a few hours and ended up staying till 3am. Thank god the kids were taken care of. But I felt like I needed some time to unwind with good friends.
I was supposed to be at work only for a couple of hours in the morning, but it extended to another few hours. By the time I got home it was already 8.30pm and that was only because I decided to come home with work. I hadn't spent much time with the kids. Now here I am, procrastinating and reading journals and updating (I looooove procrastinating, btw). Looks like I am gonna have to be at work again tomorrow. The deadline for this project is tomorrow afternoon. By this time tomorrow, I will be done. Then I am taking Monday and Tuesday off.
Here's what food looked like today and yesterday:
FRI:
B: NON
L (early): boiled bulgar, sauteed tofu
S: cookies (yikes)
D: 1/3 cup rice, paneer, chicken, kidney beans
Alcohol: 3 glasses of wine (no alcohol this coming week)
SAT:
B: Toast with PB and jam
S: animal crackers
L: 1 cup of rice, with mutton, spinach, paneer and okra
D: 2 mangoes
The lunch was huuuge. I am too tired to make dinner for myself (the kiddos have eaten and are finally off to bed). Now I work for a little bit and then I will also call it early night. I couldn't sleep. There were a lot of munchies (chips, popcorn, fried stuff) that I didnt eat at the party last night. Also skipped on dessert. So very proud of myself.... but....I think I made up with all the empty calories in alcohol. No more wine till the end of this week for me.
