ROFL!! OMG, 2 funny! My mama just went through the SAME thing at her office! What she did worked:

Sponge (w/ pic) + dish soap (w/ pc) = no more dirties in your dishies (w/ pic of dirty dishes and flies with a line through it)

She wrote it in BRIGHT red on NEON yellow paper. She laminated it and duct taped it to the wall!!! LOL Boy, the lawyers really got the hint! hehehehe

Your boss sounds kind of..... special  LOL

Keep up the good work and grab an elliptical for me! I am an elliptical junky but the gym is too far away to make it worth the drive :( (over an hour for the closest gym)..... Hope the ditsy co-workers get it together soon, for your sanity's sake :D

LOL!! That is hilarous!!!! :) I wish my co-workers would get it together.. or I wish I could be so bold to do that, but I actually dont' think they'd get th ehint and would be scratching their heads... since our office is so small.. but I will survive.. and get out of there sooner or later!!

My hubby went to buy groceries today, and guess what he bought. Yep, vanilla wafers! I really don't know why. We hardly ever buy those things. Of course, I thought about you. :)

Cassie, That is so funny! :D

Oh - I'd love to try the elliptical. Please give me tips. I've never done it and I don't even know how it works.

Go Team Conquest!

Find something great on tv!! That helps a ton with elipticals- plus, when your watching tv its better for you than reading, cuz lookin up doesn't restrict your airway as much. I was watching family guy and futurama one night, and I'm not one of those people who can watch something funny and not laugh- holy hunnies, I was like, GUFFAWING, and everyone in the gym was starin at me... I had to turn the channel after that  Apparently humor in the gym doesn't work for some people, lol :)

Good Morning all! :) Happy Valentine's Day!!!
(thanks Newbride!!)

HH:
ooh.. wafers.. stay outta da box!! Back away from the box, they're addictive!! :) Seriously ;)

M02 its a piece of equipment at the gym, sort of a cross between a stair climber and treadmill. I feel like it puts your body sort of in a running motion. Its hard to describe. They can be different w/ there settings, but the one I use has something where you can control the "level" of intensity.. and it monitor smy heart rate. so I do a manual program that w/ a level 9 intensity to keep my heart rate between 120-150 roughly.. it truly kicks my butt!

Jess..
very good point!! I'm a lil irked at the gym right now because they've gotten awesome new ellipiticals in but haven't bought anymore attachments to hook up your head phones to the speakers! :) And w/ only two TVs sometimes its pretty limited what you can watch. Once somebdoy came in and 2 of the 3 were on the ESPN channel.. the SAME one!! :( I was so ticked.. because the guy who runs super fast on the treadmill came in and changed the station I WAS watching, even though there was already an ESPN channel on.. I've nicked name him Thumper..because he's so heavy footed when he runs.. you can hear him outside of the freakin gym!! :D

Exercise: 40 minutes on the bike, level 9 intensity (thought I was peddling through cement!! OMG! thought my legs were gonna quit!)
Water: 52oz so far
Breakfast: whole wheat bagel w/ light cream cheese 300 calories
Lunch:home made lasanga & low fat pudding350 calories
Snack:corn & peas roughly 1 cup, 100 calories
Subtotal: 750 calories
Dinner: half serving of my meatloaf & mashed potatos 400 calories
Dessert:dariy queen blizzard.. (so bad!!) 580 calories:eek:
Total Calories: 1730

So my norm, is to hit the gym at 5:30 in the morning, and I skipped yesterday morning because I was so zonked, so I went in the evening. I invited FH to come with me, and he said he was intending to get up and go with me at 5:30 yesterday but I didn't get up! So he was going to wait until this morning to come. He prefers the gym when its really dead (less self-conscious) so he got up and came with me!! We got to the gym a little later than I normally do, but I still squeezed in 40 minutes of cardio. I could not be more delighted that he got up and came, he is NOT a morning person!! So.. yay !!! :)

Another note.. my darn gift for V-Day for him doesn't work w/ his Ipod. :( I am so bummed. So off to try and exchange it today. I guess since the ipods update the attachments have to be too. Bummer! Anyhow. :) Happy Valentine's Day to all of you!! Hope its a great one!!

NewLeaf, congrats on getting FH to go too! Thats great! Happy v-day! Hopefully the exchange goes okay for ya. Sucks that it didn't work to begin with :( Hope you have a wonderful day. keep up all the good work.

hey NL, just saw this. to keep me motivated on the elliptical, first of all, i try to cover up the intervals and time as if i watch it, i will just not make it. secondly, i am a music junky so i make sure my ipod is full and ready for a work out of its own. otherwise, im not much of a tv person, but i did just hook one up near the elliptical (it may help if i can ever get my butt out of bed pre-work like you do & watch some news or something). Lastly, I keep LOTS of magazines near the elliptical - all about fitness and health - and if i feel sluggish and it hasnt been too long, i pick one up and read through it. The motivation from the magazine along with the interesting inspiring stories will pass the time and before you know it, you are done! :)

Looks like your exercise has been great. keep up the good work

Hey Newleaf!!!

First thanks for your encouraging words to me! Made my whole week! and second I have a couple questions:

What is FH? Fat Husband? Forlorn, Funny,Fickle, Former?:D:D I swear I dont know!!!

Also, do you know where I can find a thingie that checks your pulse digitally while you workout that's not too expensive? I thought of it while reading about the treadmills you use. Just wondering...

First, you are so welcome! But thank YOU for the motivation, because w/o my promise to you, I would of been off that machine at the gym in like 20 minutes. :D lol..funny how you can be so determined not to let down someone, even if you've never me them!!

Second.. FH=Future Husband. Its much shorter than, BTTEHTM (best thing that ever happened to me) Hehe, I got it off a bridal forum, his name is Sid, I SHOULD just refer to him that way. hehe. :D

Lastly.. I'm going to post some website links to monitors that will check your pulse. This first one I found looks pretty promising and not too pricey,(at least I don't think!)

This one looks neat, I'm not sure how accurate it would be calculating your steps, calories etc. but it also does that plus your heart rate.

This is neat, but doesn't have the heart rate monitor. However its a pedometer w/ a safety alarm in case of emergencies and it made me think of you of how you mentioned feeling uneasy out walking alone etc. Just a thought. You can find these safety alarms seperate on their own I believe. I'll look into it further tand let you know!

Hope this helps ya!! :D

Hey girl just checking in to say hi and wish you a Happy Valentine's Day!!! Do you have any plans for tonight?

Hey ya chica! Well a friend gave me this suggestion of a dinner delivery place near our house (which is AMAZING because we live 20 minutes out of any significant sized town and there are only 2 resturants near us!) So anyhow, we are having dinner delievered to us at 6:30 tonight at home! I am so excited. :) Some candles to light etc! But that's about it..

FH and I said we were only doing dinner for today, but.. I don't think I'll even see a card, is that so bad that I'm a little disappointed ? oh well! :) The day is not over yet!! :D

if it makes you feel any better, my FH is in indianapolis and flyign back to boston at 11.30pm, so i wont have much of a valentines day either. i guess it is life ahead that will be filled with the valentines ;)
