Well the scale says I lost 6 pounds someplace between eating right and the cardio. I'm expecting the 40 pounds I gained to get back fairly quickly. It should be more so as my endurance builds up...... I have never really had the funds to join a gym and i think It could make a big difference. Even more as the weight loss slows.....

Well I cooked barbecue as I was ordered by the family. It really sucks to be the chef of the family and be on a diet. well my calories have been low the last few days and I'll be going to the gym tonight. Hey an hour at the gym should burn off at least on rib lol......


Breakfast: 3 boiled eggs, dry pack of tuna, sour cream topping {light sour cream, lime juice, sweet and hot chili powers.} [210+90+40]
(340 calories)

Lunch: I didn’t wake up till 11:00 or so….. so breakfast and lunch were the same meal.

Dinner: 6 barbecue baby back ribs{just 6 ribs not 6 slabs}, potato salad, baked beans, a few pieces of sliced barbecue sausage.

Snack: I’ll have an apple if I’m hungry after the gym.

Drinks: water, coffee, 1 diet coke.
(0 calories)

Total: unknown calories
 
Hey there HILLY still not a BAD day I ended my day with PIZZA for dinner
BAD TAMMY BAD lol!!I am blaming my family because we aparently
celebrate my B-DAY with food hmmmm thats how I got fat hahaha...

Well I was going to the gym but my groin muscle feels like it's about to rip. Payback for no bike riding for 20 years. It's weird but since I finally got my butt to the gym I almost feel guilty for missing a day.
 
Hey, I always know that my workout program is working when I get that guilty feeling for skipping. After a few days it goes away, but the trick is not to let the guilt go away.
 
Mechelle I'm feeling fine just sore. I thought Id get away but not being sore but no soap lol...

Cannon I'm going tonight if I just get on the treadmill at a slow pace. If it's still too tight then I lift some light weights and get my cardio that way.
 
Well today was a good day diet wise but have felt like crud all day. My diet is strict but it works. The only bad thing is going from 3500 calories a day to 1300 or so makes ya feel kind of weak in the knees since I'm not getting energy from sugar and my body has to actually break down food for those yummy energy components. I need to get my calories up but I just haven't been hungry lately; probably some lingering depression. well tomorrow will be better......... well it is 3:40 am so it is tomorrow.......... nite all.....

Breakfast: 1 pickled egg.
(100 calories)

Lunch: grilled chicken salad from cheddars with blue cheese dressing.
(About 600 calories)

Dinner: matzo ball soup.
(About 600 calories)

Snack: pickle.
(40 calories)

Drinks: water, tea, 1 diet coke.
(0 calories)

Total: 1340 calories give or take.
 
I'm not getting energy from sugar and my body has to actually break down food for those yummy energy components.

I think this was my prob yesturday - I was so bagged - I have been using real sugar in my coffee in the ams and my afternoon one and I finally got to the store and remebered to buy fake stuff and my energy was at an all tiem low yesturday - I also noticed that when I started cutitng out and down the granola bars...god damn sugar - your eating has been looking good - I honestly think you are eating better than I am - way to go and I am glad to have you backa nd see you posting regularly!!!

Well you know your routine is working when your muscles are sore.I didn't realize your calories are 1300 thats close to what I try to stay around(1200) and like you said it does work!!You kniw if you start feeling like "blah" you may want to add a couple 100 cals to give ya that extra boost.Well your doing great have a nice weekend Tammy

Tammy my calories need to be closer to 2000 so I went to walmart and got some more of that #$%#% bagged skinless boneless chicken breast lol. One package says they are 130 calories a piece the other ways 230 calories a piece so I will start eating at least two with a meal and that will give me the calorie boost I need. I have been eating things like green beans which have almost no calories so I will have to switch to more things like corn and beans that have more calories. As far as energy I went to gnc and picked up some mens mega vitamins for energy. They are loaded with all kinds of b12's and things that just help a little bit.

Well I'm going out tonight and it's normally a restaurant and then to the coffee shop but I'll go someplace that I can get a salad and instead of the sweet coffee I'll either get something sugar free or just grab an espresso and then I don't have to worry about the sugar.
 
well today is going pretty well. I have managed breakfast and lunch and both were low calorie just in case I have quite a few at dinner. I'm going back to the gym tomorrow;my legs and groin muscle is starting to feel a little better. The muscles just got a good stretch.

OMG I ate at APLEBEES to BUT it was my birthday you know lol I had
the club melt w/ loaded smashed potatoes instead of fries(like those are anybetter) and a BLONDIE for desert did split with hubby even tho I wanted it all to myself.
I didn't have breakfast or lunch so I am sure I consumed enough cals for 2 days hahaha.
I am proud you made great choices at that EVIL place lol.

By the way I noticed different cals for the frozen chicken breast.
What brand did you find at walmart for 130??So far the lowest one
I saw was for 170 and it was KROGER brand??I eat the birdseye steam
packs of mixed veggies they are good and 35-40 cals a serv and I eat 3 ususally.OK Have a nice day again Tammy

Tammy yea it was a typo I read the bag wrong it's 230. No matter what color I dye my hair the blonde gene just comes through lol. I have been getting the birdseye steam packs too.[great minds think alike lol] yea I can eat a whole bag for only like 120 calories and get a butt-ton of food.


Today has been pretty good but i'm about a meal behind. Had a few boiled eggs for breakfast and a grilled chicken salad at cracklebarrel and I'm guessing about 600 calories but the peppercorn ranch had a lot do with that number lol.
