a Hillbilly diary

Well hello everyone. Got back to school today and I forgot how tired sitting in a class will make you. The diet is going well but the numbers are low for today. It's ok there is enough shall we say "reserve" my body can pull from. If I do get hungry again I will make some cereal or something but It's so late and I'm gonna try to get to bed by 11 and havent had dinner yet so those calories will have to stick. Tomorrow I need to get some heavier meals in to get my calories back up closer to 1800 calories or so.

Yea I'm not too worried but it's strange; When I have fewer calories I'm not near as hungry. As I get closer to 2000 calories or above I'm starved......

Ahh yes i have had that myself. I did wonder if others noticed it.

Another thing, if i dont have a large breakfast i generally dont get hungry most of the day, but the bigger the breaky the more hungry i am later on :)
 
I'm starting to think my appetite is stuck in a programing loop lol.

If I do this then this happens but if I do this instead then something else will happen lol.

No breakfast and I don't get hungry until late but then it's hard to get full.
large breakfast and I feel starved no matter how much I eat.
small breakfast and everything goes pretty well.

When does losing weight get easy lol..........
 
lol its easier to loose weight than staying fat, thats all i can say.
And man some of the stuff ive found out that others thought of me thats only come out now later on is amazing.

Just the other day a nice friend commented 'wow now you have a neck, before your hips started somewhere under your tits' etc and stuff to that effect.
Makes you wonder what people are thinking when looking at you eh.
 
I dont htink loosin wieght ever gets easy, we need somethign to keep us on our toes...

I had to go to work yeasturday first day after 10 days off..it killed me...LOL...but my cals were below 1200 and most of it I worked off, I am down 2 lbs, kinda funny...why do breaks/holidays need ot end:( LOL...hope your day is good!!!
 
Losing weight is easy when you are sick! And that's about the only time, then you gain it right back when you get better!:D Have a great day!:)

Hey there! Just checkin in on ya! I hear you about the breakfast thing. I've been that way all of my life. Nowadays I try to stick with eating something every 2 or 3 hours. Ever since I have been doing that it seems like if I don't eat something every 2 or 3 hours my stomach hurts something awful! So, I guess that must be the plan I need to stick with. I can't imagine still losing weight and eating every 2 or 3 hours but hey if it works who's gonna argue, right? LOL

I don't get it, either. I noticed a while back that if I have breakfast at all, I get hungry earlier in the day. And now that I started eating breakfast on a regular basis, I seem to get hungrier earlier. I never used to be hungry for at least 2 hours after I woke up. Now I'm hungry almost as soon as I get up.
 
I notice I eat a whole lot less when I skip breakfast too, but then my calories are too low and I feel like crud. :p

Dinner: Improvised burrito; lavash bread rolled around some turkey chili, baked then topped with cheese and sour cream. {100+320+60+60}

Snack: 2 oranges
(137 calories)

Snack: 2 pears
(192 calories)

Snack: Banana smoothie; half a banana, 2% milk and a pack of splenda. {110+130+0}
(240 calories)

Snack: 3 pieces of sugar free candy.
(100 calories)

Drinks: water, diet coke.
(0 calories)

Total: 1589 calories
Maintenance calories 3597
3597-1589=2008 unused calories

Well I'm quickly getting back in the habit. It's not as hard as the first time since I just took a little time off. I'm finding I can deal better with the simple breakfast rather than the full blown eggs and such. When I run out of bananas I guess I'll have to go back to the eggs for breakfast but for now my appetite is cooperating lol.
