Hey There Lee :)

A 2000 calorie day is Great!! Especially on a "cheat" day :D

And you got me thinking about Mexico last night, now I'm all set to start planning a trip - it's been too long since I've been there!
 
I love Mexico. Its like going to another world. Its a great place to get away from everything. On cheat day its not really bad, I still watch what I eat only its real food.
 
i love that you have cheat nights... you don't seem to ever go crazy - but it's good that you don't deprive yourself either... :) makes all those lean cuisines worthwhile :D
 
well I had a cookie once and it made me so sick. So on "cheat night" I don't really carb or sugar out its just normal food like the rest of the world eats. If my weight every drops below 2 pounds loss a week Ill put a hold on cheat night. If I have Chinese, I opt for white rice rather than fried. Those rice paper spring rolls rather than the deep fried ones. Italian is some fish or steak with just a side of some type of pasta. Greek, Its gotta be something with lamb. things like that.

I eat meat too! Tonight Hubby wants to take me out to supper and a movie *bites nails* I'm not sure about the restraunt. I think I'll just eat a salad and some sort of broiled or baked chicken dish.


I think it's awesome that you have these nights because what you are doing makes it more of a lifestyle because you are able to maintain losing while still being able to go out and make healthy choices like everyone should.

Awww man....you're outrunning me past the 50 pound mark. What can I do to catch up with Lee? I bet if I cut my hair that would be a good three or four pounds.

Lunch--- 2 eggs, 2 slices of turkey bacon, 2 pieces of toast{70+70+35+35+70+70}
(350 calories)

Dinner---salad; lettuce, onion, 2 boiled eggs, lite ranch {24+16+70+70+160)
(340 calories)

Snacks--- double serving harvest fruit cereal with 1% milk {120+120+100}
(340 calories)

Total--- 1095 calories

Wow, we were almost the same weight. I only recently was able to find a scale I could use. It still only went up to 380, but that's more than enough leeway for me now!

Congrats on the loss, at the rate you're losing that weight, you'll be south of 350 in no time!
 
yea the scale thing is a prob when you are this "healthy".... I have been losing about 2 pounds a week with the occational 5 or 7 pound drop. I should be in the 350 range in a couple on months. Im looking forward to it then it's out of the 300's soon after that........
 
55 pounds! That is good to see, Lee!

I had a slip myself and gained three pounds but I managed to lose it again and then some. Still, I can see just how easy it will be to gain this stuff back again if I am not careful.

Sounds just like me, I was only averaging 1.5-2.5 LBS per week, but lately, since I started walking 1/2 hr 5 days a week and 1.5-2 hours on weekends It's been more like 6-9 LBS per week for the last 3 weeks.

I was looking at those supersize Ebay scales, but they were WAY too much money, luckily I found a health-o-meter that goes up to 380 at the local clearout center for $30. No more truck scale for me!

Bear I think we are always going to gain weight fast. Maybe thats how we gained weight in the first place. Ill prob have to eat this way except for the occasional goodies..

MDM we bought 2 acres out side of the city and I noticed when I get out there with my push mower a few days a week, Those were the weeks I would lose alot more. With the heat I just got out of the habit.
