Dinner: skinless chicken breast; grilled. Brown rice cooked in home made salsa for Spanish rice. Also ½ a can of peas and carrots {190+150+40+105}

Snack: 1 tangerine

Snack: 2 servings of fruit harvest cereal with 1% milk {120+120+110}

Drinks: water, tea

well today its going pretty well. other than going to bed at 6:00am and getting up at 1ish. I really either have to be on nights or days this both is kinda rough. well with the late start its now 6 and that should be time for lunch. I wish the sun would hurry up and go down it makes me sleepy. I guess thats what happens when your sleep gets all bass ackkwards.
 
Hey, Lee. Having your sleep screwed up is really hard. I hope you are getting enough rest. I'm going to make that rice. Do you just put it in a rice cooker?
 
I guess you could. I just use a sauce pan bring it up to a boil then simmer. depending on if its instant or regular could be from 10 min. to 30.min.

well the day is over for the most part and have school tomorrow. I'm glad because I seem less hungry when I'm out of the house. with such a late start today, lets hope that whole eating late thing is just a myth. Ill find out on Friday because those scales never lie. I know I have tried talking it into some crazy numbers lol.....
 
I find i eat more in the evening or when im tired, i now go to bed at 9pm so a) i get more sleep and b) I dont overeat and snack as much.

Funnily enough its the same time i crave ciggies (I quit a couple years ago now but still social smoke)

every thing is going well for the most part. other than i still havent decided on what to eat for dinner. Someone brought in bags of barbque but i dont really need that. hmmmm thinking salad with some blue cheese for a treat. the blue cheese is 100 calories per 1/4 cup. So a few spoons in a dressing shouldnt be too bad. tomorrow is friday and weight day so i just dont want anything too heavy.
 
Hey, Lee. My doctor told me that it doesn't matter if you eat late....as long as you burn more calories than you eat. When I asked him why people swear they lose weight by not eating late he said that they end up eating more calories when they eat late. He said if you eat the same amount of food whether you stop at 6 or 12 it is all the same.

I don't know if he knows what he is talking about, but he is a pretty smart guy so I wouldn't worry about it unless you are actually eating more than you would have if you stopped earlier.

what i read somewhere... and since it was on the internet it MUST be true (insert sarcastic smilie here) is that eating late can trigger binging, which is why they tell people to not eat late... however it has no effect on weight gain.. the calories for the day are the calories for the day - it doesn't matter when they are consumed... but ehy should be consumed thru out the day not in one lump sum
