It's beginning to feel a lot like SPRING!!! :D This morning when I walked outside it was soo sunny and I could hear birds chirping and the air was crisp - it made me so happy! I'm really excited for the snow to start melting. Hopefully it does soon, because this week the forecast is sunshine and temperature's in the 40's! :) Before I know it I'll be running outside again!

Today's workout looked like this:
- 1 lap walk around track
- 1 mile run around track
- 1 lap walk around track
- 2 mile run around track
- 1 lap walk around track
- 1 mile run around track
- 1 lap walk around track
- Chest press machine
- Dumbbell fly's
- Dumbbell tricep extension
- Dumbbell 3-way rise
- Bicep curls
- Abs

Was at the gym for about 80 minutes today and I feel great now! I'm going to make a smoothie and an egg & cheese biscuit for breakfast. Yummm :)

It's starting to feel like Spring here too and I can't wait for the sides of the road to be clear so I can start walking and jogging outside!
Awesome work out at the gym yesterday - I need one of those! I haven't gone over 4 miles on the treadmill in a while.
I also got a little nauseous watching the BL during the temptation round but at first when I saw the cookies I thought they looked so good and wanted one so bad! As soon as they ate a few I could tell they weren't enjoying them and didn't find them appealing anymore. I wanted the girl to win so bad because she was doing so good and had a way better memory - she just got some bad luck in the end.
I found two half marathons about 4 and 8 hours away from me and when I went to sign up they were both already full!! I couldn't believe it! Doesn't look like I'm going to find anything for this year. I was thinking about finding some friends who would be interested and setting up my own in the city because I think there would be lots of people interested. I don't know why my town doesn't do them - it's not like the town is that small!
Anyway have a good day and a good start to your weekend! Every Thursday i'm so jealous of you.
 
Lisa - That's too bad that you weren't able to sign up! But I love the idea of trying to start one for your town! That sounds like a great idea and it would definitely be a great thing to be involved in.

Alright, so last night I went a little over on my calories due to some snacking at night but it wasn't by too much. I had such a bad sweet tooth though... I'm blaming the PMS! Because I can :D But other than that I had a really good day. I actually feel confident going into tomorrow's weigh in. I've noticed that my tummy is getting flatter and I'm so happy about that! Also my arm muscles are really starting to show.. when I saw pulling back my hair yesterday I looked at them in the mirror and kind of let my jaw fall because I was so surprised that I actually have some definition in my arms now! lol

I have about 2 weeks left til I leave for vacation, so I'm really going to focus on trying to eat cleaner and avoiding sodium when I can. I'm DEFINITELY not going to be 130 lbs by the time I leave and I'm starting to wonder how long it's going to take me to get there.. and if I'm even capable of being 125lbs? I feel like my body just knows where it is comfortable and I feel like it's comfortable right where I am. I'd still like to get to 130 at least but I'm starting to feel like 125 is a stretch! What do you guys think?

I've got 2 classes today and then it's the weekend! But after class I'm planning to go for my 5K run around the neighborhood here before I head back home. Not all the snow is gone but a lot of it is, and it's sooo beautiful outside today! I need to enjoy the fresh air.

I think that if you are ok with the shape you are in at the moment then it is the weight for you! You have come such a long way not only is weight loss but also your fitness, and you are now starting to see your muscle tone. Just because the scale is staying in the same position doesn't mean you stopped loosing, it could be that your loosing fat but gaining muscle. Also I beleive that weight is just a reference number. You have to be able to maintain the weightloss not just get there.

Thanks for your input! I agree with you, I have to look at it as getting to a weight and being able to stay there. I feel like trying to get to 125 would be a very big struggle for me and it would be even harder to stay at that weight. I need to start using the scale as a reference, not an indicator of my progress.

I'm having SUCH a wonderful day, wow. One good thing happens after another! The exam that I took 2 weeks ago that I did not study nearly enough for and thought for sure I would bomb... I got a B on it!!! Also, I went to class today and found out that I had an assignment due that went completely over my head, and my professor let me do the assignment during class. After class, I ran my 5K outside and set a new PR!!! I finished in 26:33... back in november my time was 29:57! So I'm really excited about that! I'm also eating really good today.. and my mom is going to color my hair for me so everything is just going for me today and I'm so happy :) I really think it is this beautiful weather! 41 degrees and nothing but SUNSHINE!!! :D

Reading your post yesterday brought such a huge smile to my face!! I really want to start running outside. We still have quite a bit of snow, but that's not stopping anyone else around here ;)

CONGRATS ON THE LOSS!!!!! That is awesome!! Celebrations all around this week :D:D:D

Friday - Worked all day, came home and had spaghetti for dinner. I fought with myself for about 20 minutes debating whether to work out or not because one, I was really full and thought running would be way too hard on such a full stomach. Two, we had some cake in the fridge and I really wanted to eat that. And three, I had plans to go to my friends house, and since it was already about 8PM, I felt too lazy to have to go through working out, showering, getting ready, yada yada... but then I finally put my tennis shoes on and hit the treadmill. And when I got done, I went straight to the fridge to eat the cake and it was gone. My dad ate it. He said, "Mom told me to have the rest because that would be better for you." LOL so I'm glad he ate it cuz I didn't need it!

Saturday - Worked all day, didn't work out after. Came back to school and went out to a party. Ate a lot of food :(

Sunday - Ate OK but not the best... went for a run and ended up doing a 10K in 57:14... down 4 minutes from the last time I tried it outside. I was happy about that and I feel much better that I got a nice workout after all the junk I ate last night.

11 days til spring break... crunch time!!! Gotta hit the gym hard this week. Hope everyone had a nice weekend :)

You inspired me to do some running outside this weekend too however you would kick my butt in a race! 11 days is going to go by so fast! I'm so excited for you! have a good Monday!
 
Hey guys :) No post yesterday because I didn't work out. I stayed within my calories though, so high five to that :D

This morning at the gym I ran a mile on the treadmill and then did 10 minutes of intervals (walking @ 4 mph / running @ 7 mph) and got to 2 miles. After that I did some weight training for about 20 minutes. I got a really great arms workout!

So far today I ate a Fiber One bar before the gym, and for breakfast now I just had a bowl of oatmeal and a cup of skim milk.

Tonight my friends from my old University are coming to town, so I'm going to meet up with all of them and it is going to get a little crazy. Us four girls together are nothing but TROUBLE! :p We will be drinking, so I know I will be over on my calories but I'm going to try to stay away from late night munchies! Wish me luck, lol :)

Thank you all for your responses!!! I'm kind of in a hurry so I'm going to make this short and sweet.

Had a great time the other night - didn't eat anything past 9PM and I was up til 3AM!
Didn't work out yesterday - I wanted to, and I could have, but I just didn't. Eating wasn't the greatest.
Haven't worked out yet today but I will when I get home. So far I had oatmeal, a banana, a rice cake w/peanut butter, an egg w/cheese on a whole wheat english muffin, some mixed fruit, and a cup of milk.

I'm about to do some shopping in a little bit for my spring break trip which is already next week!

I did an 8 minute speech the other day in class on calorie consumption. Did it without any notes, totally killed it and got an A+! My professor says she rarely gives out A's for her speeches so I was really excited about that and it felt great to spread my knowledge and it seemed like I got some people interested in counting calories too!
