Good Morning Everyone,
No walking or exercising today - it's my day off.

Xorie, it's good to seey you!

Kelly, my ticker isn't going to change all that much if any this month. On the first of March I was 177 and didn't change my ticker for the first week or so, and by the time I did, I was at 175. My weight loss has slowed down, but I'm really ok with it, at least it's going in the right direction :)

enjoy the day off -and celebrate the fact that you've lost so much weight that it's now becoming more challenging :) and you stil are down more than 1 percent for the month and within 20 lbs of your goal...

you are doin' dynamite

Deb i have a question. On your pedometer, do you have your step length measured? I see you do 1 mile in like 10 minutes, i did my walk today and did 1 mile in 20 minutes, and i was walking fast! Maybe i have something set up wrong?

Hi M, I have been MIA for a few but i have been thinkin of ya!!!
have a great day and week end!!!! We deserve a restful weekend ya know!!!
take it easy cheesy!!:D

Hey M2M, thanks for the rep...right back at ya! I hope you have a great weekend. I'm off to take puppy for a walk, buy groceries, and cook up a storm. Sound exciting? lol

Hi Everyone :)
I got my exercises in and walk - so...in the future, I'm walking first - my muscles twitched the WHOLE time!

Lunges 3 sets x 10 @ 40#
One Arm Rows 3 sets x 10 @ 20#
RDL 3 sets x 10 @ 40#
Over head press 1 set x 10 @ 40#
Crunches 3 sets x 10

Walk - 3 miles @ 36 minutes

Woh! That's a bad twitch! I hope it's gone away now!

What do the numbers in your exercises mean? Like this 3 sets x 10 @ 40#

It means I did a set of 10 repetitions using 40 pounds of weights and I did that 3 times :)

I don't know if I have the notations right, but it's how I am able to keep track of what I'm doing.

I just got my weights yesterday
and I didn't know where to start pound wise...so I picked an amount that wasn't too difficult and figured I would stay with those weights and then gradually build up.

That's a smart move. Start low and go slow - a little motto we use in the healthcare field. :)

Glad to hear you're doing well! Way to go on the weight lifting.
