Hey, thanks for posting in my diary! I'll be sure to pop in here every so often! More than likely it'll be more often than not, lol. I love this forum! Anyways, have a great day and grats on your exercising and weight loss thus far!
 
Back from my walk - 5.22 miles no time...seems I kept pushing the buttons on my iron man wrong :eek:

I bet you really do have a time, you just won't post it because you're afraid of making us slow-pokes look bad. :p I kid! Nice work with the weights.

I understand what you're saying about the sodium! It seems like everything is packed with sodium these days. We'll all end up hypertensive, I swear.

Keep up the good work, try not to stress about lack of loss (Ive only seen one person whos lost anything decent this month and thats because its her first month).
 
Hey M2M, I just want to say thanks for stopping by my diary....you are too sweet! You had mentioned to add my miles that I have walked...where would I add it to? Is it to our Spring fling challenge?
 
Holy cripe...

By lunch time today I was at 913 calories when I found out we're going to one of the nicest restaraunts in town.

I so wish I knew that when I planned to eat the bulk of my calories mid day.

Grumble...
 
Bah. Sorry to hear about the calorie mishap. I'm sure it won't do any damage. One day is nothing against all your great work.
 
Are you kidding? I've been maxing my calories looking to find where my maintenance weight is.

Oh no M2M! i had that the other day, friday.
Got home from camp after eating about 900ish-1000, then a friend turned up with KFC . ARRGGG

Luckily i wasnt overly hungry and ate a couple chips and a small piece of chicken, but it was still arrg factor :)
 
Man... KFC, so bad for you but tastey! I love the chicken burger and poutine combo! Poutine is a weakness of mine, I mean come on... fries, cheese, gravy :eek: So good, and so bad all at the same time.

I haven't been there in Years- probably about 18-20!

OK, we went to Hannahs and I had a couple of pieces of VERY small rosemary sourdough bread and a huge salad. The salad I'm guessing had a gazillion calories, it was a bed of Romaine, what looked like 1/4 C shredded jack & cheddar cheeses, cherry tomatoes and then at least a cup of Buffallo style (hot red sauce) chicken. I didn't use dressing but there was also a wad of friend onion strings on top, and I mixed those into the salad and ate them all.

No idea what the calorie content was. - I'm saying I had at least 1000K since 1045 is a Chicken Finger Salad from Ruby's Diner, and this was similar but smaller (the Ruby's salad comes with 72g of fat :eek:) So I'm just going to be done now and end my day with a 1912 cal guestimate ;)

I didn't even have WINE!
 
Someone PLEASE tell me I did not gain 4.5 pounds since this morning. I KNOW that's over 15,000 EXTRA calories. It's simply NOT possible!

I'm willing to be lied to!

Thats not possible! I say the weight of the food and water. I usually weigh 3-4 pounds more by the end of the day and its all gone the next morning. :)

I am hoping it it is not so but even if it is with your walking and great healthy menues you post they will disapear 1 by one.I am guessing for me 3 bad days of eating bad I probally gained 3-5 lbs like always and if so I am starting that SH diet wishes is going to try sounds like a winner and looks very healthy to lots of fruits and veggies and even meat.Goodluck to ya your doing awesome Tammy

M2M,

I always gain a lot if I get weighed the morning after eating out or take out, but that weight doesn't hang round. I reckon it's all the spices, the salt, the flavour enhancers - I think of it as my body reacting to the chemicals by bloating, and make sure I drink loads to wash all that stuff out. It happens even when there's healthy stuff on the menu and I eat light, but I am very sensitive to chemicals.

Hope today has proved to be better!
 
You already know you haven't gained fat! :D

Water maybe...

It's pretty crappy when the scales mess with your mind like that though. *sends schoolmistress dagger look to scales*.
 
That happened to me about 2 months ago. I ate a whole bunch of fried food on a cheat day, and the following morning, I was up 4 lbs. A few days later it was gone, fortunately.

I won't lie - ever - you know you didn't comsume those extra calories... so put that thought out of your head...

Over your limit on sodium - yeah that could cause it
Under your limit on fiber -yeah that could cause some problems too..

relax and just keep going forward -you know you're doing good - don't worry about the scale
