LOL!
Yep - I needed to air that laundry somewhere!!

Sooo - the GOOD news, is that I came home from taking M to swim last night, and the dryer is FIXED and the machines were put back in place!

I can do the laundry now!!

star, your great grandma is alive???

and yes, I was thinking about starting to wash clothes by hand - but I live in an association, we're not even *allowed* to hang laundry in our own back yards!

Yes!! I almost considered painting the walls since the machines were out, but then I thought better of it ;)

You can't habg launry in your backyard?? I thought you lived in the US!!!! Ya know the whole freedom thing???:D We ahve 35 acres in the counrty, we do pretty much what we want. Glad you got the laundry going!! have a great day(folding all those clothes!!!:p )

Ah, no, the sacrifice I make for not having snow, or cold of any kind, is that I live in the land of HOA's ;p

I have a townhouse in an association and one of the CC&R's is that there are no clothes lines allowed.

One of these days, I'll have a real house in a NON Association and will be able to do whatEVER I want :)

I would die if i could not hang laundry out to dry (in the summer) I have two boys (3 if ya count my hubby) and we camp and stuff alot so i hang out sleepin bags and wet swimmin trunks and socks....I'm a regular red neck in the summer!!! And yeah my great grannie is still kickin.....we have 6 gernerations living from my boys to my great great grama, she can't travel and lives in another state, but we have a 5 generation picture, whish we could get a 6, and she is 107 years old too!!!! I don't know her that well... but i do my grat grannie, so that is cool!!!:D

Star, we camp a lot too (roughly a month and a half out of the year is spnt sleeping in a tent!),

I air out the tent and sleeping bag when I get home, but not for long - and the clothes, well, generally, my dryer works ;)

6 generations AND 107 year old great grandma - man, that is sooo cool!

my mom died when she was 48 and I was 24 - I can't tell you how much I love the idea of multi generational gatherings - especially since I don't get them much ;)

I do take care of my 83 y/o Mother-In-Law, she lives 5 minutes from us, so Megan and I are always going places with her, and people comment all the time about having the 3 generations of the R women :)

that is soo sweet.... famliy is where the heart is, it doen not always have to include blood.... sometimes i wish it did'nt havetoo.... .my gramas are on my dads side live for ever it seems and my mothers side all die young my mom's mom passed away 2 years ago....I was very close with her.......and i miss her alot!!! I am glad my boys got to know her and that i got to know her as an adult....she was a hoot.. alot like me....and crazy when she was younger!!! However ON my moms side diabetes runs in the family as well as obesity so thats why i am here!!!! I wanna live to be 107 not croak off at 60!

m2m Thank you for your kind words, you've already inspired me and after I began reading your diary here is what made me decide to start my own. I can't wait to read up on everything and keep in the loop on your weight loss and life.

I hope to one day inspire others in the way you've already inspired me.

You go girl - and you're doing what you need to make it! I can JUST see you being 107 and a great grandma!

I hope to one day inspire others in the way you've already inspired me.

Brandi, trust me, you already have! Just taking this first step is tough - committing to it is even harder - that alone is a HUGE inspiration!!

A quick howdy........Hope you have a wonderful day!

Right back atchya Tammy! Hope your day is GREAT!

Hello!!!! Hope all is goin good for ya sweetheart :D

Thanks Emily! You keep doing what you're doing and you'll soon kick those newly discovered 7's!!

We CAN do this!

I just got in from my walk - another day cut short because of poor time management on my side - I had to be back here in order to take my dog to the vet for the recheck.

I got 3.2 miles in 35 minutes again. Plus my WR exercises.

Off to shower, then drive 45 minutes to the vet, then, when I come home LAUNDRY!! Woo Hoo - the excitement around here lives ON!

I'm not sure if I got skipped over for the male I must fix everything myself gene or if my two older sisters just beat it out of me when I was younger, but in any event I'm very happy not to have it. Enjoy your laundry.

Hey Cannon,
Yeah, Bob has the fixit gene - he just doesn't always have the motivated jeans ;)

So far, I have finished the dark greens, light greens, yellow, khahki, blacks and one white load. I still have a pink, 2 blues, another white, beige sheets & one duvet cover load. That's 12 loads of laundry!!! I know it's been awhile, but this is CRAZY!

Anyway, no complaining here - I LOVE the smell of clean laundry :D
