Her post was really funny that night :D her injury - not so funny :(

All in all, the whole episode still makes me giggle.

Alright - I'm done eating for the day. The numbers look alright, but I don't feel like I ate anything healthy all day! I just finished a Grilled Cheese sandwich with 2 slices of cheese on French Toast Bread

I also haven't had a single vegie or piece of fruit...I'll do better tomorrow after I go grocery shopping!

CALORIES 1,315 Goal 1410 - 1760
CARBS 151 Goal 159 - 286
FAT 44 Goal 31 - 68
PROTEIN 89 Goal 35 - 154

Sodium 3,888 Goal 1200 - 2400 <-- ACK! That's the first time I've done that!! LOL! It's a good thing I'm drinking so much water! (126.1 oz)

The next day, I think I found at least 2 or 3 posts I made that night - I SWEAR, I remember retyping virtually every word because of spelling mistakes...I was SO careful. The next day...almost every word seemed misspelled!

It took a week of soaking in Oxiclean to get the wine out of my brand new capris pants and two weeks for the pain to go away.

I tell ya - live AND learn!

It was fun though ;)

No tomato in that sammich ?? :(

I can pull it off if the 'maders' are super mushy. One food I never caught on to was green fried tomatoes. That's just me.

Good morning :)

I did my 5 miles in 1:04.39 (12.8 minutes per mile). I thought a lot about the half marathon, and I decided that I am going to do it. I have 4 months to train - that should help! I just don't know if I can better my time without jogging, so I'll add a bit of that to the walk and try and better my time on my long walk - I haven't even had a 13.1 mile endurance walk yet - that's two weeks away.

In other news - STAY AWAY from sodium! Yesterday my calories were fine, my exercise was good, but I went over on sodium by 1400 mg - today, I'm .5 pound up from where I was yesterday! That stuff is BAAAAD!

I'm loving all this water I'm drinking - I tell you, it's really the only thing I've done differently this week then most any other week where I've kept good track of calories - but the weight has been coming off more then it ever has!

Who knew water was so cool? ;)

Just thought I would stop in and say "hi" M2. You are still doing great. :D (((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Hugs)))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Take care.

Mmmm...grilled cheese with tomato!! Yummmm!!! lol Your drunken story is really funny...I've done that before. Come home totally trashed and email someone or text someone and you can't even tell what it says for all the misspells! lol

Where in the world is this legendary post of yours M2M???? I want to read it!

LOL! I wouldn't know - there were a couple short little posts, but just about every word was misspelled.

T2 said the next day that he could just see me swaying in my chair as I typed - and the truth is, I was ;)

Amen to that... I really notice a difference...

way to go on training for the half marathon - you'll be doing a full marathon before you know it... Check out the site for some training tips... It's a marathon that has both walkers and runners at the end of october every year.. .I know a bunch of people who've walked it and went thru the training sessions and they all said it was areally positiv experience...

It REALLY does! I had never paid any attention to sodium - except for that camping experience where I gained 9 pounds in 4 days ;) This is the first time I've tracked it for over a week, and 1 day off on sodium definitely has its effect!

I don't know about that! The only way I could would be to run, and I just don't know if I'll ever be ready for THAT!

Wow - what a great site! Thanks for the link :)

I totally agree about the sodium...it is EVIL! But it's in EVERYTHING! UGH! I think that's what's killing my weight loss here lately. I've been working out like crazy but not moving (since my pound loss) and I feel so bloated. I told my girlfriend, if I didn't know better I'd think it was that TOM...I hate sodium.

I'm going to redo my dinner menu for tonight because who knew there was so much sodium in tuna. I'm going to try my best to keep it down. The first day I started targeting it I did very well, ever since then it's been through the roof. I've got to do better!

Edit: added to my post, was in a hurry to leave work earlier.

I never thought of tomato on a grilled cheese. I bet that is good! And oh man m2m.. you are one FAST walker!!!... I tried to walk as fast as I could tonight and my calf muscles ached during my walk!

Hey Cannon! Who knew it was talk like a pirate day? How fun!

Heidi - are you crazy - don't start out walking too fast, you build UP to walking fast ;)

OHD and HF - I hear ya, Sodium is EVIL!

Sodium is EVIL!

Not to mention the bloating toxic levels of sodium creates, it depletes our potassium (which most of us don't get enough of daily to begin with). Potassium is our friend.
