Does the sequence matter?

I have been working out with weights for a couple years now, with light weights in classes and doing cardio 2-3 days a week. I decided in December to cut out the group classes and try to increase my strength in the weightroom. Here is where my confusion lies: If Day one of my split is back&bi's does it matter which muscle group I do first? I don't go back and forth between the muscle groups, but sometimes I switch the order of the exercises. I guess what I am asking is should you work the majors first, or does it matter?

I hope I am making sense, I'm doing lat pulldowns, db rows and hyperextensions for the back, and db curls and concentration curls for my biceps. Any advice would be appreciated.

You should perform back excercises first most if not all the time if not your biceps will be very tried while doing back excercises from bicep curls and thus your strength will decrease.

Take Home Note - Train Major bodyparts first before moving onto smaller groups - Major - Back, Chest, Legs.
