Mal - I read yesterday on the site posted regarding sodium that Cottage Cheese was high, but it didn't occur that it was MY cottage cheese
And no, really, I'm not going to wash it either! I do cover it with a chopped tomato (that I USED to pour salt on top of!)
The walk is nice - except for that 6 lane road running through it

It really is a primary artery leading out of this community. The posted MPH is 55. If I stuck to the trail down below, it would be nicer, but it has more hills and ticks. I'm good with staying away from ticks
The Golden Eagle is cool - the local bird sanctuary out here told Megan (she's taken classes there), that there is only one known breeding pair out here and they nest on Catalina Island. So to see it 3 days this last week makes me wonder if they're moving inland

OR if there are more breeding pairs!
While I'm rambling...
One of the coolest things about our Grand Canyon Camping trip in April, was Bob, Megan and I, sitting on an old rock made fence somewhere along the rim with 8 California Condors sweeping up in a kettle and flowing out over our heads, then down in front of us as they dove into the canyon. It was phenomenal! Megan went through a C. Condor informational program while camping up in Big Sur last year, and we were able to trace the wing numbers of the ones we saw back to Big Surs breeding program - it was very cool.
