No rest for the weary eh.

Nope - it's what we get for being a small team without a lot of active parents helping. I was the first to arrive and the last to leave, and the entire swim meet has been one headache after another starting with needing to change locations at the last minute - including ALL the stuff that goes along with the meet & food & giant BBQ'a and 5 billion tables & chairs. It was total chaos :/ And will be again today because we have to run the meet then vacate the pool we're at leaving it in better condition then we found it. We'll see how that goes.

You'll crack up when I take a pic of my hoodie tomorrow, I used masking tape and wrote "WALKING 4 DEBI" on the back of it for today's walk:D

OMG Randy - I can't WAIT to see that!! Too funny! :D

Hey girlie, sounds like a long day. Hope you get plenty of rest tonight!

I did, I came home and was in bed by 8:00 pm.
I'm off again, so I'll catch you guys later :)
Have a good day!

Good Morning M!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a lot of work at the meets.

Are you off on your long walk today? I think I'll do a long walk or jog the 5k. Still deciding.

Have a wonderful day and do something special for yourself, you deserve it.

Wow, that sounds like a crazy day to me. But, you can do it, and you'll do it beautifully too. :D Keep up th good work!

urgh...just got home, left this morning at 5:30

i'm tired so off to bed...no walking for me this weekend, but i've been on my feet all day for the last two days, that's got to count for something ;)

hope you're all doing well

Hey guys,
It feels good to be back and rested :) This particular swim meet was hard because we were hosting it (we do 3 a year), and we had to have the location changed at the last minute...which means moving ALL our stuff.

At least it's OVER!! :)

The first day, Meg dropped her times in 3 events and stay the same in 1, yesterday she added time to 2 events and DQ'd in one. Needless to say, she was NOT a happy camper yesterday :\

I ate fatty, crappy food from the grill of our snack bar - I'm sure I wasn't over on calories, because I didn't eat a lot all day, but the food I did have wasn't all that nutritious...it'll be nice getting back on the GOOD food wagon!

Hi chicky...I hate it when there is no other choice than unhealthy crap...LOL...you will continue to do well as you always do!!!

"Hey, support athletics and physical fitness by eating deep fried cheese at our snack bar!"

Logic. How hard would it be for them to have a basket of fruit to offset those candy bars. I have been there too. "hmm...nachos....there's corn in the chips...and cheese in the cheese...maybe....seems nutrious-like. Best decision I guess???"

Right.

Wecome back to the wagon. I'm your tour guide, Iwan. Over here we have...

I remember swim meets. I remember they sucked too because the pools are all hot (well, not for the swimmer, but for their cheering section it is). Prime territory for dehydration I tell ya. Have you been drinking your WATER!! just do it.
have a nice day!:)

Hello M2M,
When ya fall pick yourself back up and start again
and thats what you did congrats!
When I cheat or have a treat it is so darn easy to fall back in those ways
again but I am now starting to feel the guilt when I do because you look
back and see that youv'e worked to hard to give up.I used to have the god
meant for me to be fat so be it! Losing weight definatley makes you feel better and you never want to lose that feeling! Just my 2 cents lol,Have
Wonderful Day, Tammy:D

Thanks for stopping by you guys - I always feel so guilty when I can't reciprocate - and tonight I'm going to my book club meeting.

M congrats to your daughter.

yea the food of the masses just really gets in the way at the time.

Thanks Randy, she really took it hard yesterday - she wanted to scratch the one event she DQ'd in, and her coach wouldn't let her. I even bought a new pair of goggles to make it go a little better, and so when she disqualified, she wanted to scream at me AND her coach "SEE, I told you I couldn't do it!!" After 20 minutes of talking with her coach she was OK. Sometimes I'm really glad I'm not her coach ;)

As for the food of the masses, yeah it does get in the way!

Hi chicky...I hate it when there is no other choice than unhealthy crap...LOL...you will continue to do well as you always do!!!

Thanks TLA - I did have the chance of bringing my own food, I just choose not to because of how long I'd be gone, yadda yadda...and TBH, I don't care how many healthy options are around, when I'm around sausage, eggs and hash browns, I'm a sucker ;)

It also doesn't help that the guys doing the cooking know how much I love CRISPY hash browns, and since I work really hard to make their job easier, they try and repay me in the only way they can. ;)

Right.

LOL! Well, we do offer bananas, apples, vegie bowls, terryaki chicken rice bowls - but, well, the breakfasts will do me in every time! We choose not to sell too much in the way of candy and we don't serve nachos - but we do sell hot dogs and hamburgers and quesedillas ;)

HI! I hope you are having a great Monday! I'm jumping back on the wagon this week too. Wouldn't want you to feel lonely!!:D

Oh Mechelle, glad to hear I'm no alone!!

Wecome back to the wagon. I'm your tour guide, Iwan. Over here we have...

Oh, I'm so glad to have someone who totally understands as my personal tour guide!

I remember swim meets. I remember they sucked too because the pools are all hot (well, not for the swimmer, but for their cheering section it is). Prime territory for dehydration I tell ya. Have you been drinking your WATER!! just do it.

Urgh, yes, it was hot! And we ran out of water to sell!! And no, the past week (since the Halloween challenge) I have been terrible with my water :( Maybe 40-50 oz a day if I'm lucky - I just quit making it a priority, and I'm definitely suffering from it!

Thanks Tammy! You're so right, we've worked far too hard to give up or go backwards - and I feel like I'm back peddling...all week I've been bouncing between 192 & 194. Not being able to walk is driving me crazy too. My feet are getting better, but not "well" not to mention other issues that have made walking unpleasant. I'm feeling pretty damn old at the moment!

Hey M, Sorry to hear that both you and Megan had a rough day. Here's a little something for both of you.
