Hi Guys - I hardly recognize anyone with all these new avatars! Yowsa!
So I didn't check in after my walk this morning - it was rather on the embarassing side When I woke up I was still sore - I don't know if it's from my 13.5 mile walk on Sunday but my glutes hurt...so does my right heel and the top of my left foot near the ankle. I've been watching my right heel, I know there's a problem there, the bottom hurts like hell if I step on it wrong and on the heel just below the achilles tendon, I have a bony protuberance on the calcaneus...so I've been kind of baby'ing my feet.
This morning I had to decide either not to walk, or to walk, but walk at a slower pace. I ended up doing my 5 mile but adding *8* minutes to my normal time! I did it in 1:06.44 - I normally get it done in 58 minutes.
That being said - NO THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO FIND M&M's OF ANY KIND!
I'm inundated with cookies and candy right now - and I'm ready to chuck it all out the door at the first unsuspecting child that rings the bell
You've only had one kid too! Same as Wishes...both you and she probably have the one American immigrant on your block
As for my feet - I know there are problems looming. I've been doing some online researching based on symptoms, and there are definitely issues that need to be resolved. I can't have my feet giving me these kind of problems. I can live with the sore butt muscles, but my feet need to be wELL!
I have $10 shoes and $60 insoles - it works a treat! Means I can change shoes and keep the soles
And mine were not immigrants - just a couple of bored teenagers with a piece of paper on their face :O
They got a fair bit of candy though - since nobody else came!
Good Morning -
My feet are still sore (achy) so I'm not going to be walking on them today - I really think they need a break, hopefully a couple of days will be all they need. They've been bothering me for awhile and well, I'm really good at avoiding issues I don't want to deal with
Anyway, trick or treating was fun last night - the memorable moment was Megan not coming back from a door way with all the other kids - the other kids were laughing and saying, "I can't believe Megan SAID that!" So being the concerned parent, I walk up to the door where Meg is patiently waiting. I ask her what's up and she said she's waiting for a drink. Huh??? She had thanked the homeowner for offering her the candy, but if he didn't mind, could she have some water instead. LOL! Apparently he couldn't find any bottled water so he handed her a coke zero.
The good news is that at least I know my daughter will probably know how to get what she needs out of life
hahaha That sounds like something my daughter would say - shes always stopping me in the middle of nowhere demanding a drink and that shes going to just *die* if i dont get her one immediatly. I recall one time even offering to let her drink out of the car radiator just to show her how unresonable she was being lol .
