hi M2M good job on the baggy 14 skirt and goin to a 12:cool: , for what ever reason i would be in total heaven to be in a 12, have a great night and a good tommara see ya later girl!!! STAR

Hey M2M!! I love that the size 14 was too big on you!! If you actually do like Oldnavy jeans they actually come in different cuts. You just need to visit the jean wall. haha not all the pants are low riders. Anyway, YAY again for smaller sizes!! :)

ACK! Let me explain - I don't think I'm in a size 12 yet! It was one size 14 skirt that was too big - but it could have been the cut/design. The other 14's fit, but I'm still wearing my 16's.

I went for my walk - but I hit the buttons wrong for the laps. I got the whole time but the break down of laps is different then the way I normally post it.

Total 5 miles 1:05.04 (we spent far too much time talking about our upcoming book club meeting) ;)

Lap 1 Warm up .25 mile 4.18
Lap 2 Walk 1.5 mile 19.08
Lap 3 Walk 3 miles 37.32
Lap 4 Warm down .25 mile 4.06

Who cares if it is a "true" 12 or not? The label says 12 and that's sooo cool.

I have found clothes on the clearance rack before that say a size or two smaller than I am. I try them on, ever hopeful, and they sometimes fit. Well I just know that it's the only one left and on clearance because maybe it was mistagged at the mfg and the people who are really that size tried it on and it was too big for them. So I snatch them up. But nevermind, every time I put on those clothes I feel like a Queen. And that's what's important!!!!!!!!!

So you will be Queen for a Day every time you put on that skirt!

And hey everyone, try on the low rise jeans. They actually look better than the high rise ones on most people - big or small. Course you won't catch me dead in the new skinny pants. Yuck.

I didn't buy it though - and I didn't try on the size 12. I figured since I was just on a trying on spree and not a buying spree that I'll look again next time I'm there :)

That said, I did notice as I was leaving that they had a lot of other styles to try on. I'll catch those next time :D

I currently love my Levi's mid rise (waist sits below the belly button) They're my favorites and I got them for $1 (They were on clearance for $11 and I had a $10 off coupon!)

THat's a great deal on pants!!!! I would love those too!! :)

I saw in Hillybilly's diary that you were looking for a low calorie bread.

Sara Lee Delightful Wheat bread is 45 calories per slice. They also make a white bread that is the same. Just make sure you buy the kind that says Delightful. It tastes really good too! :)

Just dropping in to say! Hope you get in 12 soon! I know how that is! But, i'm like evrybody else if it says a smaller size, snatch it up!! Also, a cal bread I buy id wonder lite. I only buy wheat, but they have white and sour dough too. i about 40 cal per slice!

Since Megan wasn't feeling well, we didn't go to swim practice tonight, so I got another walk in on top of my morning 5 :)

Total 4 miles 53.27 13.32 minutes per mile
Lap 1 2 miles 27.00
Lap 2 2 miles 26.27

Your doing great

Hey M2M
Just popping in to say and good work on the
walking and calories! Do you use a pedameter or you just
walk same route? I do same route but would walk different
places if I had a pedameter but years ago I had 1 and couldnt
figure out how to program it then it got lost when we moved
and I quit dieting? Is it a good thing to have?Tammy:)

Thanks you guys - I hope she's feeling better too - she had such a bad night at swim practice on Monday that missing tonight really stings...hopefully she'll quit sneezing soon ;)

Dolly, I do have fairly long legs, and I'm fairly tall - but I didn't start out walking fast, I think when I first started I was doing one mile in about 20 minutes.

Tammy, I have a pedometer that *used* to work pretty well, and now, it's completely unpredictable. My 5 mile morning walk, I've tracked with my car and with - it's 5 miles. One day my pedometer told me it was 3.7 and the next day it told me it was 6.4.

Tonight I took a different route then my morning one - I went 2 miles North into town (closest grocery store) and back.

I would buy a new pedometer, but I'm still kicking around the Nike+ system to go with my iPod Nano.

hello there! I'm seriously trying to get better at checking in on people in their diaries, and just wanted to pop in to say hi! Good work on your walks.

I also love the mapmyrun site. It's pretty cool stuff. Keep up the good work!

I tried on a pair of low rise jean and while it felt cool to wear such 'hip' pants...I'm not sure that my gut hanging over the top of the pants was to sexy. ;)

Keep up the good work M2M---I'm crossing my fingers that you are in Onederland this week!
