tube tops.... how faux pas. even in hillbilly circles that is way out there.

dont hate on toe socks - they keep your feet warm in the winter.. ok they make your feet really big so you cant wear shoes.. but when you are a cheapskate and won't turn the heat on unless it's 20 below... they do the job of preventing frostbite...


See even the hillbilly doesn't approve of tube tops :D
 
Hey M2M, sorry its been a while ... computer gremlins!! You sound like you have been doing really well, don't worry about the odd slip up. We don't have to perfect all the time to get good results.

On the exercise front, I use a heart rate monitor, but to be honest, as long as you are sweating and slightly out of breath, you should be working hard enough.

Keep up the top job ;)
 
Not sure where this went wrong, all I said was tube tops were (and still are) sexy. They made their comeback and like all things retro, they flamed back out as fast as their resurgence. *deep sigh*

congrats on breaking the 4 mile walk. :) wow. u're like Troutman!! good for you. don't worry so much with the calories as long as you keep walking and keeping up the intensity. I'm sure u'll burn it off. :)
 
Oh my gosh, you have tube tops in your diary!

Now...if I could only use that picture for my "After" Shot! LOL!

And tube tops are ridiculously in fashion now - let's just say, I am OK with the fact that they will probably be out of fashion before I'm in a size where I'd feel remotely comortable with them.

I'm good with plunging necklines, but anything that might ROLL down my body isn't an option.

Thanks to all of you on being so supportive - I was feeling guilty about not touching base with diaries, the schedule has just been so hectic lately and it's not going to let up all too soon.

Tomorrow I'm gone (AGAIN) and this weekend, I'll have a bit more time, but I'm camping in Santa Barbara starting Monday, so I'll be gone all next week (I'll be able to get the Monday morning weigh in though!) :D

M02 - I'm in RSM, I'm not sure where I posted that and as for beaches, I typically go to T-Street in San Clemente on Mondays & Thursdays unless something has a higher priority, but that's rare.

I'm going to go read some diaries and then get off of here, my calories for today are 842 - and I am a little hungry, so I'm probably going to scrounge a bit for something, (YES, I know it's 9:00, but I'm hungry NOW!) ;)
 
LMAO! M2M, I know that 'hungry NOW' feeling- Almost every night I break down and have egg salad!! Congrats on the weight loss! Don't worry- In your after picture, you will TOTALLY blow away that chick in the tube top!

Don't feel bad about not getting to as many diaries as you'd like, because we're mostly all guilty of that. Have fun out and about!

Oh and btw, I like tube tops..... to bad I can't wear one haha.:D
 
Good Morning Everyone,
I can't stay long, just enough to say yesterday's calories finished off at 902 and this morning's walk was 4 miles. My friend that I walk to in the mornings left yesterday for three weeks :eek: It was very hard to get out the door this morning, but it was worth it!

OK - I'm out of here for the day, hope everyone is doing well!

(and Nightporter - thanks for the comments on the tube top! Too Funny!
 
Hey, M2M! Finally got some time to check in on you. Looks like you are really rolling along ... tube tops and all! :D Congrats on the 4-mile walk! That's terrific! Have a wonderful weekend!
 
Its so good that you did 4 miles again today. The key is to always challenge yourself. Once you are in the swing of 4 miles, you can up it again. Keep it up, and have a really great weekend :)

Mrs B - You're so right about sticking to 4 miles again today. It was really hard, I was so not motivated, and I took a route that wasn't easy to calculate how far to keep walking, turn, come back, turn go back then turn again and come home to get the full 4 miles. I like it so much more walking towards my friend, I'm really going to miss her!

dgilly, I'm glad you stopped by - I've been horrible at getting to diaries this week but I'm hoping to catch up this weekend, I hope you're doing well!

Good Morning Everyone :D

OK - Today was my morning weigh in -
219! Down 5 pounds!! I have never lost that much in a week!

I woke up late for my walk this morning, and I *so* did NOT want to go. I thought about "taking the day off" then, I got up and went to the restroom AKA scale room ;)

I was at 219.5 - I KNEW I was going to walk!

I put in 4.4 miles came home and hit the scale before the shower - I was 219.0

This last week I had 206 calories more then last week, ate pizza two nights but walked almost 28 miles compared to 25 miles last week.

I have not seen the under side of the 220's since the day after I got pregnant in January '96 - before that, was my wedding date in Nov '92 of 218 pounds and I'm sitting here *comfortably* in a pair of shorts/skorts from that era ;)

My original "Goal Schedule" was to be at 217 by 31 August. I'm a bit early!

I hope you guys have a great weekend! I'm looking forward to Monday morning weigh in - I might be at my wedding weight on Monday!
 
5lbs in a week!! Excellent work M2M :) I looked at your ticker and it threw me a bit. It looks like you are doing the July 12lb challenge!! :D Does that mean that you have already completed the challenge? Way to go M2M and well done on keeping going with the exercise .... they say first thing in the morning is best for exercise, but it is soooo hard getting motivated. You are doing great ;)

lol- I just realized what you meant about the ticker- Sorry M2M, but your ticker says you have to gain that pound back to complete the July 10 lb challenge :p j/k - You blew us all out of the water! Congratulations!
